Getting max rank (293/293)

How many posts are required for max rank on bzpower? i've noticed users with over 20k posts, and yet there profile reads 291/293. i've heard 10k, but i'm not sure. thanks!

Don't know if anyone's ever gotten it. There used to be users with 30-40k posts before posts from the old forums stopped counting, and I'm not even sure if they were at the peak.

apperently it is 999,999. 1 million posts. (almost!) i asked @Black Six to make it somewhat more achievable, still waiting on a answer.

I remember back in the days of high activity that the official policy regarding post counts and post ranks is that it was essentially supposed to be a secret that you were not allowed to directly ask about. It was intended to be something that you must discover for yourself along the way (at least, that's kind of how I remember it being worded).

Of course, that was then. Formerly restrictive rules such as no topic revivals or no posting any external links have since been greatly relaxed. Would this be another matter where the old restrictive rules no longer apply? Would it be okay to share a complete list of all the post ranks and how many posts are required to reach them?

With discord adding new restrictions I believe we may see people return to forums.

update: they didn't add the restrictions. bzpower remains a place of dust for now.
