The stylization of your figures is nice, especially considering the level of detail packed in there without making them cluttered. The inclusion of detailed backgrounds is also, to me, a triumph. My one constructive comment is really more of a personal preference - while the illumination panels/eyes/whatever look positively stunning and are beautifully rendered, I feel like they're a tad overused in your art. Obviously, if it's part of your style you're really set on, I encourage you to keep it. But the sheer quantity of these bright bits lessens their "credibility," if you will, for me; because there are so many, they look less spectacular than they could. I'd encourage you (again, from my own personal taste) to use the luminescent panels in more moderation, because it will make them more powerful in the compositions overall. Only problem I can see is that on the top pic, the blast in the wall right about his shoulder looks like a slug is draped over his shoulder. could just be me though... Alas, nothing in these pieces will change, because one, I'm done with these as they were for a project in past tense, and two, I am not doing very much Bionicle art anymore at all. But yes, all my robots are drowned in what used to be heart lights, and eventually became large, utilitarian gimmicks. That is not to say it happened by accident. I toyed with differentiating brightness in spots, but the 'flat' look turned out to be the best with the spider-web-like form I wanted to do the electricity in. It's mix of technological theme and modern, real world retro attire, the casino/mafia theme, and the originality of such fusion...etc. The background, while detailed, sorta go against my eyes...might be my eyes, natural preference of simplicity, that brings such idea, so it aint a big deal.
