Neelh
Cryoshell, as usual. Motion City Soundtrack is working it's way into becoming liked by me, if only through two tracks so far. P!nk and Florence and the Machine are becoming some of my favourites. Currently, I really like fan musicians like PhemieC and Broadway Aradia, while Broadway Karkat's voice is becoming a permanent fixture in my life. I like Chameleon Circuit too. Oh, and Homestuck music, especially from Radiation and Micheal Bowman. HA. Vorahk1Panrahk2
I guess I'll shoot. I don't know how the world defines 'artist' in the musical sense, but I'm assuming it's the name that comes attached to a CD of music. My top ten are (in no particular order):John WilliamsEnnio MorriconeKate WolfEmmylou HarrisNanci GriffithJames TaylorJohn DenverAlison KraussJohnny CashThe BeatlesBrian Crain Okay so they're sort of grouped by genre. And there's eleven there. But SO WHAT. I couldn't decide. . Also a shout out to the instrumental music (movie scores) composed by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis. I can't add them to the list since I don't listen to Cave's lyrical music much at all (and I believe Ellis is in his band), but the scores they have composed together are fantastic.
