The last one works well because the light is coming through Takanuva's eyes, and simply because it is Takanuva, with light, and being legendary in traditional Taka-style.

I'm also commenting to say that you are horrible at advertising your blog in a subtle manner and since you asked me (or people in general) to comment I am going to.

 

I do like the rest of the photos as well. Takanuva is just the best.

I am too much of a pleb to comprehend how these effects are even possible.

But I enjoy the third in the series the most because the light pattern vaguely reminds me of a Lorenz attractor.

Light painting - that's new to me.

 

These look awesome though. I think I like the first one the best, though Takanuva obviously comes in a close second.
