  1. Introducing Chor, Toa of Earth. This is my first crack at an RPG, and I'm really not quite sure how it works. I guess I'll figure it out soon enough... -FtC
  2. Name: Chor (pronounced 'Core')Species: ToaAlignment: GoodGender: MaleAppearance: Toa of Earth, with a color scheme of black and grey. Black is his skin-tone, while his armour is light grey. Armoured areas include shoulders, chest, groin, knees, lower legs and hands. He is quite muscular, yet not hunched. Has large boots.Weapon: Chor wields a large shield. He carries no offensive weapon, yet is more than capable of crushing enemies with said shield. The shield is coloured light grey in accordance with the rest of his armour. This shield can be stored on his back.Mask: Kanohi ZatthPowers: Ability to move large amounts of earth/debris with little effort, can hurl boulders and other large objects and deflect objects with his shield. With his mask, Chor is able to summon underground Rahi both small and large to his aid.Traits: Chor is very quiet and humble, choosing to avoid conflicts wherever possible. However, when provoked he can be a formidable opponent, as he is strong both mentally and physically. He is usually willing to help accomplish tasks, and is never unreasonable when arguing a point. Chor also is a very competent navigator, and consequently knows the tunnels of Onu-Wahi better than most.Biography: He resides in the tunnels of Onu-Wahi, often accompanying mining parties when the path is unclear or dangerous. He is well liked by the local Onu-Matoran, and has defended townsites from Rahi attacks more than a few times. He has only ever been out of Onu-Wahi once. On that occasion Chor teamed up with 3 other Toa to hunt down a rogue Skakdi band travelling through Po-Wahi, Onu-Wahi and Ko-Wahi.Weaknesses: Chor will be last into battle. His hatred for violence makes him hesitant to fight. He is not too accurate when hurling boulders at enemies, and is often too slow when in battle. His inexperience in other regions of Mata Nui make him vulnerable when in strange territory. Sometimes summoned creatures will turn against him.-FtC
  3. Nice work, man! I have no idea how you managed to rack up that many posts - although I guess you have been on here far longer than I have -FtC
  4. It is on this greatest of occasions that I do extend my congratulations to you, sir, on surviving yet another year of your life.
  5. Uh, probably creating a topic in COT regarding breakfast. I mean, what the hey was I thinking? I honestly couldn't have cared less about what BZPers ate for breakfast I also tried to host some voting for a contest on my blog here. Yeah, that didn't really work out :|-FtC
  6. Peer pressure. I had a few MOCist friends from other sites before I joined BZP, and they kept telling me to share my creations, and that it's a cool community.Looks like they were right I now try to do the same for other non-BZP members.-FtC
  7. I pretty much started using it as soon as I got to BZP. I had a number of friends from other sites who were already here, so I thought I'd start with them to establish myself.I had a cleanout of my friends list the other day. Found a whole load of members who I don't even remember talking to... let alone looking up to. Ahh well, I guess I was young and naive -FtC
  8. Lol yes, I get this all the time. Although it's not usually fearing that I'm 'too old' for it as such, more that it's pretty much the only thing I want to buy when I get money for my B'day or Christmas. I also sometimes feel that the sets themselves aren't worth the money. I mean, I could buy the parts to the set online for far less than I would buy the set for. -FtC
  9. For the first few weeks after it went down, probably almost daily. Then maybe a few times a week after that.As a funny side note, I checked BZP more while the forums were offline than now that they're back up again -FtC
  10. Nicely done I really like the top half of him, the proportions seem perfect (the inclusion of gears looks brilliant, btw). The mitten-like hands look cute - I gotta say they work fine on this guy.The only real problems with this lie below the waist, on a leg in particular. The leg he has his axe leaning on is well-drawn and the right length, but sadly I can't say the same for the other! I can see what you were trying to do, but it just ends up looking like a little stump in the place of a full-grown leg. I'm no artist, but might I suggest making the thigh a bit longer? This and perhaps making the foot larger would make it appear more like a leg.Overall, this is really good. I don't think the trees are bad, they look fine as they are -FtC

I'll be your friend Xin ;-; I'm felixopotamus on Skype.

I've got the same problem, man. There's this guy in my chemistry class who actually just doesn't give a flip whether he passes or not... and therefore thinks it's fine to talk and laugh the whole lesson. You know, not like any of us wanted to pass or anything.
  13. Oo, nice one Xin. I think you got the shaping almost perfect. Those arm-blades are dang cool 8-)One thing I'd suggest is perhaps giving her eyes. It's kinda weird staring at a blank grey helmet (please forgive me if she already has eyes... I'm colourblind ). Really neat drawing, man!-FtC
  14. Ok, I lol'd.It's always lotsa laughs to make fun of iPod spell-correct, and this is it at its finest Probably my favourite would have to be Toa(st) Pohatu, you managed to succesfully make a piece of bread kick something O.O Simple or not, these are pretty fun. Almost banner material if you ask me -FtC
  15. This looks really great I love the way you've drawn Kiina, the facial expression is perfect. I think it'd be good if you could give Berix some sort of item, to accentuate the fact that he is a thief. His upheld hand is just begging to have something grasped there -FtC
  16. I'm really not sure, actually. I for one find it less exciting to browse through the BBC forums, but I'm not sure if that's because I've improved over the downtime or if the quality of MOCs has gone down. One thing I do see a lot of is an abundance of LDD MOCs. I've never really been a fan of LDD, but I have seen a number of very simple MOCs (mostly HF based) that look cool just because of unavailable colours. There are still Rainbow Warriors, but I guess we can't avoid that I wouldn't argue that the quality of MOCs has gone down in the BBC, but perhaps that they're becoming more and more generic. This might be due to the simplicity of HF parts. I actually went through a phase of creativity blank all because of those cursed HF pieces... they are mighty fine when used appropriately, but the simple building system is addictive.Just my thoughts on the BBC -FtC
  17. I guess back in the old forums I got a couple of hot topics, that was cool. Probably winning a blog contest and getting Premier Membership was the best thing I think it's also a bit of an achievement to have only ever posted 1 non-BBC topic, even if it was about breakfast -FtC
  18. Oh yeah, I think that was the last one I saw. I never seemed to remember you having some of the better MOCs in the BBC... guess I'm mistaken Yeah, I kinda figured that would be the case with the shoulders. I myself have had a few MOCs with this problem (most notably iCU). And as for the name change, well quite a few people call me FeeFee, so it's kinda suitable if you ask me -FtC
  19. Oo wow, you've definitely improved since I last saw your stuff! That's a really neat bot you've got there. I really like the clean colour scheme. The legs are quite superb: the knee joints look great. Not really too keen on the Shoulder connections, but I'm not sure how you could fix that Overall a truly impressive MOC, Paleo. I look forward to seeing more stuff from you -FtC
  20. Oo gee, now that's impressive! Well done, the central part looks incredible.
  21. Okay, I lol'dI'll second that.
  22. That could work, sure. I really don't know how I'd make one though; my system supply isn't really too huge y'know.
  23. Note to anyone who cares: I have undergone a name-change. I'm still the same person though, honest ._. Kind regards, Felix
