  1. The Piraka Avak set. It was actually my brother who got it for Christmas, I was more interested in the classic Lego. If we get technical, my personal first set was the new Lewa Nuva, the one from 2008. I now have all the classic Nuva, multiple Rahi and loads more old sets. If it weren't for my brother's interest in action figures, I probably wouldn't be here
  2. Wow, it is so accurate to the image given! I can imagine it took you quite some time to build this on LDD, great work! In the future maybe you can build it in real life!
  3. Bionicle Heroes for the huge environment and different obstacles, and the ability to fight enemies from the past. Even though the game had no impact on the story whatsoever, it was good. Matoran Adventures gets m vote as well, Even though the sprites were minimal (Every matoran had a hau... ), the gameplay was fun and extremely challenging. COnsidering it was my first gameboy advance game as well, it gets double points.
  4. I don't like deciding between two different types of lego, like system and technic, but the Exo-Force mechs were just so detailed and awesome. Considering they are system they can fit in a lot more detail down to the stud. All in all Exo-Force has my vote.
  5. A ripple in the time and space continuum happens and you die in the midst of vanishing. I get the mask. My mask.
  6. Ugh. I wish I had these ones, but I don't and probably never will considering every Abbey Road I come by is just a remastering or $150+. I do have The Division Bell on CD, but that isn't very special to me, I need the Vinyl, and Pink Floyd if my favorite. Reminds me, I also have Revolver from The Beatles, and a picture vinyl of Bruce Springsteen, framed and unplayable.
  7. Thanks, and the Rahkshi backs actually stay in one place very well depending on the placement of the arms.
  8. Yes, the blood seal was the icing on the cake if you will. And the legs were the first part that I made and the part that I am most proud of.
  9. Yeah, I did realize that he was a little... blocky. Next time I wwill make him more rounded like in the show.
  10. Alphonse Elric By KittehWubbins Now, I attempted to make Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. If you are unfamiliar with the series, then here is a picture of him from the show: So, here is my creation, and unfortunately I was extremely low on bluish gray, so I had to just use dark gray mostly. I could have incorporated HF pieces but I wanted to make this strictly system and technic based. No, unfortunately he is not hollow, but he does have his bloodseal. And yes, I did use 8 Bionicle parts. meh The legs, I tried to make them very thick just like in the show. For the loincloth, I used kleenix put in between pieces. I did my best on the back, it turned out ok. And yes, that is toothfloss for the horse hair. The articulation turned out better than I thought it would. He has a fair amount of articulation in the arms and knees but not the head. Either way, I like it. Please leave some feedback, I intend on improving on it but not for a while. I am satisfied with this and surprisingly the thing that took the longest was the head. I used the same sort of design as that one blue robot from the 2005 robots Creator set. Knights Kingdom also played a big part in this considering all his limbs are composed of them. Thanks.
  11. Moose Truck, hands down. For amazing photography and the unusuality. Plus, because I am Canadian and there needs to be moose in Chima. That would be awesome.
  12. Granted, go watch Ven Plays SMB Lost Levels on TTV now. I wish I could summon a hurricane of kittens to destroy the world.
  13. Just wanted to see if any BZP members collected vinyl like I do. You can share your prized records here, ones you want or ones you love. My most prized records are: Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here The Beatles 1967-1970 Double Blue Vinyl The Rolling Stones Hot Rocks 1964-1971 The Steve Miller Band: Book of Dreams Those were the guppies compared to my most prized of all: Bob Marley's Exodus Signed By Rita Marley and Carlton "Carly" Barret. I have 250+ Vinyls that my dad gave me, I started collecting a year or two ago. Honorable mention to a laser-engraved Styx album I have.
  14. 03 Takaunuva (For Bionicle),and for System, all of my Knights Kingdom sets. Seeing as I have almost every set in the KK line, I have to love it. It is, after all, the line that hooked me into Lego. I was obsessed with Knights, and even with a whole bunch of 80's city Lego, I payed all my attention to the four, colorful Knights.
  15. Well, most pieces are useful except for the dreaded... the horrible... Matoran Feet. God I hate those. I have so many and they can do literally diddly squat. I have tried applying them to MOCs but it is impossible...
  16. Wait is it generally known who your brother is for I have not the foggiest clue.. Also just out of curiosity why is teal an extremely popular color? I mean I know it is a nice color but just a bit surprised by the popularity and yet I am trying to understand it Sorry, that's Lyichir. I'm never quite sure when I need to specify. I think teal is mainly popular just because it's a really vibrant part of the spectrum most people don't have many parts in. The same could be said of purple, but purple isn't quite so rare in BIONICLE, Hero Factory, or Technic in general. Of course, it's hard to tell what people mean by "teal". Most of the time people are referring to Bright Bluish Green, a color used in 2001 BIONICLE sets (and Cyber-Slam/Competition previously). That one's discontinued so any wishes for more of that color are mostly just wishful thinking. But sometimes they use "teal" more broadly to refer to ANY bluish-green or greenish-blue color, including Medium Azur, which has been cropping up in Hero Factory more and more often lately. That would be the teal that one of the tarakava models used right? Just wanting for clarification Yes. Wait is it generally known who your brother is for I have not the foggiest clue.. Same with that one shade of pink that was discontinued, if anyone watches Bricktsar's unboxings they will know what I mean. (idk if shoutouts are allowed sorry mods)
  17. Granted, I hand you some Monopoly money. You get arrested for counterfeit money. I wish I could turn the next person into a potato.
  18. Man, now I know what kind of thkng to use my 10+ pairs of matoran feet for... Really nice, smooth and simple.
  19. Personally, I liked their selection except for Gresh. Gresh was like the Rocka of Glatorian, rookie, not as skille as the others and SUPER POPULAR. I would have instead chosen Lesovikk, or Hahli. In fact, if Lego had not made all their water characters girls and all of their other ones guys, I would have wanted the entire good guys team or 2/3 to be girls, to shove it in fans faces that they arent picky on genders. But alas... They are.
  20. Never happened on an Avohkii for me, but Lhikan's Noble Hau. Little tiny stringy stuff coming off the edges on the back.
  21. So, some people may have heard that Canada Nationals for Science Fair is coming up in May. This may not mean a lot to some people, but it does to me. See, I qualified and won a position to fly to Windsor to compete in Nationals for Science Fair. I was looking everywhere online for other people's experiences in National Science Fairs, and failed. So, why not make one? I am one of 5 kids in southern Alberta to go to Nationals and there will be 500 competitors from age 12-18. Ages 19-21 are seperate. I am in the 14-15 category, so yeah. Now lets cut to the chase: has anyone here been to a Provincial/National/International Science Fair or other Academic Competition? If so, could you drop a few hints on how to present it? I come from the most redneck part of Canada, and I am competing againt some of the most academically advanced kids in Canada (even look at the past winners, there are 12 year olds: QUADRAHYDRONDUALPROCESSINGLASERCURETOCANCER2871649917. Actually). The only way I will be able to beat the super gifted kids is by presenting it better than them, but I don't know how. I am not naturally shy but I can be. Thanks for reading!
  22. I just want to find out people's preferences on the colors they need/want the most. I did some researching and found that the reason some colors are more rare than others is because the dye/plastic costs too much or is hard to keep consistent. Colors people want the most I found out online are mainly purple and pink (I dont need anymore purple cause 2 Knight Busses, parts from 2 purple nui jagas) Personally, Teal is what I want the most, because I like the color and I have close to none (Tarakava and Kongu, thats it)
