If we all wrote characters like ourselves, with exactly our POVs and views, there would be no villains, just College-age/High-School students who frequent a forum dedicated to a children's toy line. Writing about characters like that is one thing. Crude jokes and pestering someone clearly uncomfortable with that about it is another.

I was thinking more along the lines of arguments on the nature of the struggle between light and darkness and other stuff like that, except with a ton of thinly-veiled insults.

It is currently my headcanon that Makuta can somehow communicate with Stannis through his mask despite having been banished into the Legend, and they have a snark-off whenever the latter decides he has time for a nap. Which is never. I'd totally use that for the Stannis contest if the contest actually allowed for it, no joke.

Nooooope. Laser Vision, contrary to what physics might say, does not travel at the speed of light. Not even close. Substantially slower than that. Still quick, but it isn't an unavoidable speed of light strike. That would be very OP. So.... Maser vision? That just makes it more powerful! I'm curious about the thought process that led to that response.

Okay, I just read the recent Avak post in Onu-Koro, and when the Terrymak did Matoran-sized powered armor become a thing? Dang, if I'd known that kind of tech was available, I would've drafted my Fe-Turaga crafter into being a loooooong while ago.

IC: Smiling, a conveniently forgotten Joskander lashed out with his chain again, aiming for the Skakdi's shield arm. There wasn't much he could do about the lasers, unfortunately, but at least the Toa of Air could be of some use, even injured as he was. OOC: Sorry about the cheap shot there. Pretty sure Joskander's still lying on the ground near Zekev, by the way. Those chest wounds aren't getting any better, so he won't be moving anytime soon.

If a knife thrower throws knives at close range, the knife thrower isn't very smart. Be realistic, man. Not to mention the mask would still be helpful. If I remember the canon properly, it doesn't just help your aim, it also helps you figure out what you want to aim at in the first place. (Granted, Hewkii could have managed to guess about the chain reaction thing and only needed the mask's help dropping it in just the right manner, but somehow I doubt it.)

Which is weird, because accuracy is another power that can be really easily abused for fun and profit.

They've got a page for all three BZPRPGs on TVTropes, and for some reason all three have equal amounts of relevant content, despite the fact that one lasted the better part of a decade, one only lasted a couple years, and one lasted only a few months. ...it kinda needs some updating.

Eh, in this case, I'm less worried about my writing and more worried about there being space in the spotlight- that, and the time it'll take to build up a reputation for my characters, whose status essentially amounts to "some guy nobody actually knows or cares about". I don't want to brag or anything, but my writing is one of the few things I'm not too worried about. At the very least, I think I'm leagues ahead of where I was the last time I was writing stuff on BZP, thanks in part to several years of creative writing classes. More on topic, though- Tuck, your puns. Why.
