  1. This is a video I felt I should.share with the Bionicle community. The video is made by Youtuber Ozkabot (not me) Please leave him a comment on his page and let him know what you think!
  2. Found some more cool Bionicle animations on Youtube while I was busy researching mythological gods for my story. MAN! I REALLY REALLY WISH the Ignition Trilogy was adapted into Animated films! Credit to Vrahno! Good job dude!
  3. They are actually just for mock-ups. But I will definitely try to post them online if you are interested. I really don't know how to post them as a PDF. As for the information I was gathering and adding, yes and no. I really don't want to plagiarise somebody else's work. My intention was to gather all the existing data/ info from BS01 and try to reword some of these writings as my own. If I have somehow caused plagiarism without seeking permission first, I deeply apologise. This was never my intention. I was enjoying myself too much in using a program at college called Adobe InDesign. This is also something I want to pay homage to as a small fan project. When I have my breaks between my sessions. I am completely open for anybody's advice. If there is anything else I could do to improve better with my Guide book/ Magazine guide.
  4. Been busy making some spreadsheet pages for a guidebook about the entirety of Bionicle G1 at college. I honestly don't know how I ever got this logo on my computer at home, but the credit for the Logo should go to the project founders and BZP members Lewa Krom and Toa Jampot, and the animators. As the logo was made for the former fan film project that died long ago in 2010, Bionicle: Next Generation. Please let me know what you think. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle3.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle4.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle5.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle6.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle7.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle8.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToaTakua/bioniclePages/bionicle9.jpg
  5. “You have been dreaming for an eternity. Amazing stories of light and darkness. Shaping your mind like a stream carves the rock. You know all and nothing. The moment before waking” Definitely a reboot. It'll surely start with the same "6 heroes, one destiny" shtick, but where that goes--or whether it's even gonna be the OGs and not totally new Toa--is up in the air. Part of me kinda wants to see new characters join the roster just to see what would happen and how they'd tie the original Toa into the lore and story. I don't know. Something is telling me that it would be something of a direct continuation. It could be a reboot. But if it is a continuation, and I'm kinda hoping it would be, it wouldn't emphasise too much on the past G1 story. It would be something completely new. Something that we haven't particularly seen. I think Faber might be going for an angle like in the X-Men comics, where the story lines in these comics in the 90s have different continuations. Or even perhaps something like in the film Days of Future Past where the story itself reboots its history. Or its timeline. I honestly love the idea of old and new protagonists together as a new Toa Team for a reboot. Between a team of Toa Mata, and another group of Toa coming together as one, singular Toa Team. The Toa in the BIONICLE Universe are basically members of an expendable superhero team, the Avengers. I really do hope they bring back some of the old G1 Toa. Those Toa (from 2001) are somewhat iconic to me. It just wouldn't feel "BIONICLE" without Tahu, Gali, Pohatu etc. All in all, I am so excited for what Faber has in store for us!
  6. I've just found this video on YouTube. It was a re-made version of the Toa Inika TV spot from the YouTube channel PenguinGunner Productions. I really wish we did have a Toa Inika movie after Web of Shadows!
  7. Ufotable. Is that an animation company? I'll try to google that. Thanks! This is something I have always dreamed of. Having a TV animated film series of the G1 era of Bionicle! It has so much potential and so many possibilities. Heck, I even have all of the novels (Bionicle Legends, Bionicle Adventures and Bionicle Chronicles). I even have the comics and the four films with me. I enjoyed Journey to One. It wasn't what we wanted but was still a fun series. After seeing many superhero films from Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige, I think Lego would have something creative or something business-wise in mind?? I am not too sure if they have all the designs and concept artwork from 2001 to 2010 (I hope they do! ). I strongly agree that it shouldn't be in Hollywood hands. But it would be too risky. I honestly don't know. I really really do want to see G1 retold again. With cinematic-style, computer-animated episodes. But it would take a lot of work and budget. Sorry I mean as a cinematic cg-animated series. Not as a film for each storyline. As a trainee writer, I hope one day, when I re-read all of the Bionicle books, comics, and serials, I would try and invent "a weird" explanation about the MU being inside of the GSR. Because the nature or the design of the GSR, seemed like a mixture of a Tardis and a spacecraft, and a melding of craft work elements between Sci-Fi and magic. I think in the future, business-wise, Lego might not consider or even thought of having their Bionicle G1 franchise be pitched to animation companies/studios. But a fan can keeping dreaming right? I agree. But I think Lego should collaborate, or try make a pitch with them. After all they are made out of Technic systems as constraction build figures (in my opinion). But I am happy without Lego's involvement either way.

  9. I wanted to play this game so much as a hardcore fan of the Bionicle universe. But my laptop wasn't compatible for programming. And speaking of the Bionicle lore, the island name you were trying to reference was Metru Nui. An Island city where the former Toa Metru had lived. And later on became the six Turaga as we know and love when they moved to Mata Nui.
  10. I am honestly blown away by your story after reading the chapters! Great Job! Everything you've written is what I would imagine would happen if the story concludes on Bioniclestory.com. As a direct continuation to the Canon Serials (The Powers that Be and The Yesterday Quest). My favourite parts of the story was when you incorporate the G2 villians where Karzahni, Ahkmou, Gavla, and all the others saw the 'disturbing' sights of the creatures hanging and crawling on the stone walls which is obviously the Skull Spiders and those trap-like creatures from G2! Could you mention that the Skull Spiders were in Metru or Mata colours as well? I always imagine them to have these as their colour schemes! And will there be more to come? Please don't stop. Your story is absolutely amazing.
  11. Oh right, sorry. My bad. Thanks for the links! Cool. Although, when the Toa Nuva and all the other Toa come back, they will be in their past forms as Toa that we've known from before. Instead of becoming Turaga (I still love the transformation of Mistika and Phantoka Toa Nuva and Toa Mahri Matoro ). So when I wrote my Fan fiction, because you know me, I love writing Fanfic for G1 , I sometimes think of this (maybe without the deep voice echo chant lol). A feeling you would get when the stakes were already high in its top peak (top level). Apologies if I sound worded.

  13. I think I didn't spend much time researching the G1 canon (the serials) and putting the ties together (The Powers that be and The Yesterday Quest?) I really appreciate your feedback. I will definitely change the Image title. And mention the Toa's confrontation with Marendar and Kopaka and Pohatu's escape from the Red Star. I apologise for adding a Review topic . I wasn't completely sure if I should add a Review topic for my Short Story but thanks for the heads-up! I think my intention was to tie my short story with Wiriamu's fan fiction 'Battle for Spherus Magna'. But as a time jump. I might need to look up on those Story Serials written by Greg as well. Thank you anyway!
  14. Like I have said in my main topic, I am freely open for help/feedback or constructive criticism. Any ideas that you could provide for the story!
  15. I thought of writing a Bionicle Fanfiction for G1 about the Toa Nuva fulfilling their destiny. And how would the other characters feel if the Toa had finally finished their final duty as the Toa that we've all come to know and love. My story is partly based on the final episode of the recent G2 animated series of Bionicle (which you can watch on Netflix, Bionicle: The Journey to One). Writing fan fiction for Bionicle G1 was one of my main passions. Hopefully, with your help and your feedback, I could change the story into something better and have an interesting ending for the G1 storyline of Bionicle (Apologies if I sounded needy). Anyways, enjoy the story! And please let me know what you think! EDIT: I have made some changes to the story and the title itself. If you have any opinions or ideas that you would like to share, please leave your comments below. Thanks guys and happy reading! EDIT: I have decided to remove Nidhiki's backstory as I felt it was unnecessary to do so and hopefully it will help the story flow better without Nidhiki's backstory. Introduction Long after the reformation of Spherus Magna, the Toa Nuva had successfully completed their missions and their tasks in order to protect the Matoran and the Agori. The threat of Marendar, the League's Army (League of Six Kingdoms' Army), and the beings' return from the Red Star, had passed. With Pohatu, Kopaka, and the rest of the Toa Nuva reunitied as a Toa Team. After their fight with their greatest foes, the Element Lords, and the Dark Hunter-Skrall Army, they were immediately beamed into the skies, knowing that they have fulfilled their destiny, turning themselves into their 'spirit' stars. Dume and the Turaga of Mata Nui had looked upward at the sky, worringly hoping if the Nuva would ever return. Turaga Vakama wept in tears. As he misses the Toa, he began helding his hope if the Toa Nuva would ever return if they are truly needed again. Among the Turaga and the community of the Matoran, the Toa Nuva, formerly the Toa Mata, are now known to be, as the universe's greatest defenders of all generation of Toa. "They have done their duty my brother" said Turaga Onewa "I am truly sure they will return if they are ever needed. But for now, we must lead the other Toa. And honour their legacy. I am sure the Toa Nuva would want that." You are right, my brother." said Turaga Vakama. "The Toa would want us to remember them." "Everyone all over Spherus Magna will know of their tales and their heroism" said Turaga Nokama. "All of the Toa, the Mahri, the Hagah, and all of the others, will now honour their legacy" Nokama said "And now we must go forward to the future." As they gazed heavily at the nightsky, the stars of the Toa Nuva started to shine brightly, gleaning itself like the Red Star. Before the Toa's final confrontation with the Element Lords, the Dark Hunters, and the Skrall, Toa Gali's spirit was drawn to the flashback of the Great Beings' history and past. And for the very first time, she had seen their true presence. Their true presence was neither mysterious nor intimidating. But they were a specialized group of ingenuis men and women, with imbuing cosmic powers of a Toa, and a high scientific intellect from their minds. And they explained to Artahka (The warrior who created them) why their destiny must differ from Helyrx, the lone Toa of Water. Toa Helryx was present with Artahka. As they both knew that the Toa must discover that destiny themselves if they ever hope to protect the species of the Matoran Universe and save Mata Nui from a dying coma. The destiny that Gali discovered, was to become "non-existent" as celestial 'spirit' stars. And remain dormant in a specialized tomb. Initially housed within the stars themselves. Gali had also seen the vision of Matoro's true death and discovered that his spirit remains as a white gleaning star, hanging above the skyline of Spherus Magna. The intentions of the Mask of Life was to revive Mata Nui by simply borrowing some of the energies of its potential wearer, while leaving the mind and the spirit of the mask intact. And taking away the spirit of the former wearer, retreating his consciousness into his own Kanohi mask. And then eventually, transforming him into a shining 'spirit' star. The stars of the Toa was seen in distance. But up close, they were made into newborn planets. Through their own energies. As the remains of a brave Toa. While transforming them back into their original forms. Before becoming Turaga, Toa Helryx had aided many Toa teams in their missions as the leader of her organization, the Order of Mata Nui. Including the Toa Hagah, the Toa Mahri, and the Toa Cordak. She had eventually passed her leadership on to her agent, Axonn, as the new leader of the Order, and sacrificed her Toa power, transforming herself into a Turaga. As she had chosen that destiny as her last and final option. However, the destiny of the Toa Nuva differs from Toa Helryx, as they were created for one specific purpose; re-awaken the great spirit Mata Nui, completing their known purpose until they are needed again. 10 months later Turaga Helyrx had gathered the Matoran around her campfire. Among them, were Toa from different teams including Toa Hahli, the Toa Mahri of Water, Toa Jaller, the Toa Mahri of Fire, and Toa Kualus, the Toa Hagah of Ice. There, she had told them the beginning of the Toa Nuva's arrival on Mata Nui to the events of the Toa Nuva's quest in Karda Nui. They laughed and cheered as they hear more of their adventures, and learned that being a hero was not just the neccessity of sacrifice but also the value of teamwork and friendship. Takanuva had listened to her stories, but couldn't help but worry if the Shadowed One would ever return and re-build his alliances with other enemies whether they were familiar or not. Prologue As Toa Matoro sacrificed himself to revive Mata Nui by using the mask of life, leaving his physical body behind to Karda Nui. His mind and his spirit was immediately transported. Leaving the Matoran Universe behind as the robot form of Mata Nui, and into the skies above, over the planet's surface of Aqua Magna. Changing the former Toa Mahri of Ice into a white spirit star. Inside the star was a newly-built tomb, magically built for the Toa of Ice. Where Matoro, in his original Toa Inika form, slept peacefully in his stone coffin. With his Toa body carved on top. And an inscription imprinted on both sides of his coffin, saying "They will return. By the wisdom of the Great Beings". Unknown to the Turaga and the inhabitants, Toa Matoro's star was shown outside of the Matoran Universe and shined itself brightly. Indicating that past Toa who had chosen sacrifice was given the transformation of becoming a great celestial spirit star. Like Matoro, the spirit stars of the Toa Nuva were no different. Each of them, including Tahu's, had recieved a newly built tomb. As they remain dormant in their stone coffins, each of their bodies was carved on top, representating their Toa Mata forms. With colour schemes representing their elements, and decorated with intricate patterns and designs. However, they are still alive, in suspended animation. With their memories intact. But remained dormant in their chamber. Each and every Toa Nuva, Gali, Lewa, Kopaka, Pohatu, and Onua were reversley transformed into their original forms. Except Toa Tahu. As he sleeps in his newly reserved stone coffin, his golden armour remains intact. Among the spirit stars of the Toa, a member of Jovan's Toa Team, was present. Like Toa Matoro, he had used the mask of life to revive Mata Nui's health and eventually became a gleaning star. Where his original body rests in his preserved burial tomb. If the Toa are called to action, they will immediately return home from the skies above, in order to help those who are truly in dire need. In a dark time when hope would truly die. The End
  16. Wow, that’s great to hear! Have a safe trip btw How far is Japan? Anyway, I'm glad you had a great time there!
  17. Seven years ago, I have recently bought a special Lego book from my UK retailer Waterstones. It was a 30th Anniversary edition. And it covers everything that you want to know from LEGO's humble beginning to LEGO's success with past themes and previous franchises (including EXO-FORCE, BIONICLE G1, STAR WARS, and HARRY POTTER). It was a box set containing two books, 'The LEGO book' and 'Standing Small'. They are both wonderful books and a worthy addition to the collection for a Lego Fan!
  18. I apologise if I've posted the topic in the wrong place. If you haven't seen the latest Marvel film then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GO SEE IT! It's a fun epic movie! I really enjoyed Marvel's third Avengers film. But I have very mixed feelings about the ending. I don't know if anybody is into the Marvel Cinematic Universe films but what do you guys think? Do you think the story will conclude in the next film?
  19. There was a fanfic I had an idea for way back that ditched this whole storyline for one that I thought made more sense, and removed the need to introduce multiple new species that were just equivalents of Matoran and Toa. My idea was that Mata Nui was a prototype weapon the Great Beings were developing to protect the inhabitants of Spherus Magna from the greatest evil in the universe: the Baterra. However, the Baterra arrived too early, and so a Great Being named Makoki loaded his consciousness onto the Great Spirit Robot and told everyone on Spherus Magna to hop aboard. They fled into space, and all of this was lost to history over the course of hundreds of thousands of years. The modern day inhabitants of the robot believed it to be the entire universe, and Makoki to be their "Great Spirit Mata Nui" Also, Terridax was a Great Being too (who went by the name Mangai) but he betrayed the others (including his brother Makoki) and secretly stowed aboard the Great Spirit Robot and corrupted one of the members of the Makuta race. He alone was Makuta Nui, "The Great Makuta." Cool. I can't wait to read your Fanfic! Do you think the GBs would count as 'magical' scientists? Considering they have a mixture of talent between magic, technology creation(?), and science?
  20. It's great to hear that Toa Gali is the most beloved among the Matoran in every koro/village. Because I sometimes see her as the "glue" that keeps her Toa team together. Even when she tries when the Toa became Toa Nuva.
  21. Good Job! And thank you so much! Now the fans old and new could enjoy the entire mythology! "And that is the way of the Bionicle!"
  22. ^ same here. And they were six Bohrok instead of six swarms. With Intelligence!
  23. The Great Beings as super intelligent Glatorian or someone like the 13 legendary primes from transformers sounds really cool to me (That might give me an idea for another Bionicle Fan Fic). But it would, in a way, take away the mystery element of Bionicle. Would you think that the "souls" in matoran universe beings would be made up as "wi-fi"? Like for example, when a matoran, a Toa, or a Turaga dies and goes to the Red Star, their mind and their spirit wouldn't be "shown" leaving their body but somehow transmitted itself to the RS (like casting your online videos to your television set using the Google chrome device), and telling the Kestora to build the new bodies for them soon after. That might seem like a possibility. Sorry if I'm off topic.
