  1. Oh man! HAHA! That's so flipping cool! I LOVE how some of the concepts present the mask as this gigantic monster head! It's so beautiful I wanna put it in my avatar! I have no idea what the backgrounds could mean. Absolutely no idea...
  2. You know I never thought of that! That's a terrific idea! And dude, my parents threw mine out too cause of space. Maybe that was a factor LEGO considered. *shrugs*
  3. Propaganda to cripple the innocents' feet with intense pain and agony. Notebooks
  4. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! MAKARU SAVES THE DAYYY!! *crowd cheers* But really, Canisters are a lot more useful than bags, but bags do tend to be more cheaper and more environmentally friendly. Things I've used canisters for: Storage of Bionicle sets at home at while traveling, storage of various items such as DS and 3DS games, a 3DS, food, Legos and more, rolling it to my dog who then sniffs it and pushes it back for fun, display of Bionicle sets, pretending to use to Toa Metru lids as a Pokeball, and a few more. Oh man! I totally remember playing with my friends with the Metru lids! UGH! Such great memories.
  5. All I want to do is browse BZPower. Not study for my Art History Mid-term
  6. I'm not one to be good at debates on whether a canister is great or not. I just didn't like the new pouches because I missed the old canisters. It's my young self fighting the new object. I feel like an old guy telling his grand kids, "Back in my day blah blah blah blah!"

    Hello There

ZEDDY! Wow you're blog is like a nostaligia trip! Dat Populus disk!
  8. I always miss out on the fads. Heck, I'm even late to internet trends. What's wrong with me! And I agree with some of what most of y'all are saying. Fads are created by accident almost...
  9. Well, i have enough of it that i could give *major spoilers* if i wanted to. :v Dang, now you've got me hooked. HAHA, you wouldn't say you've got this story written as far as LEGO did when they started Bionicle. I'm thoroughly hooked now.
  10. The things one person can do to change a lot of people... :)

    This.

"...then Valve made this and it was good." *hugs valve*
  12. Okay. This is …so amazing… Y’all have no idea how exciting this is to me. I just…okay. So my turn to ramble. I never hated anybody’s work in the forums. But I never understood why people outside the comic section community was never involved. But now I understand! All my life, I’ve been so heavily inspired by this section of the forum. I constantly go there to dream of ideas and get a good laugh. I laugh at anything pretty much. But I always wanted to see a lot of activity and CREATIVITY. And the forums lacked it for so long. Then I heard all these stories of comic makers hating one another and making comics that weren’t right and this and that, and I couldn’t understand why there was a big deal about it. But again, I’ve never asked anybody why, and this is so helpful! I love what you’ve written here Lucina, this is something that I think I should probably start cultivating. And just like Sumiki mentioned, there was this holier-than-thou mentality going on that really hindered by ability to create something new. Which is why I made countless renditions of the same thing over and over again. I think this post is something that The studio Makers should REALLY consider. And I don’t want any of them to believe that this is another hand-drawn vs sprite comics issue. This is something WAY bigger. And I’m extremely glad that you’ve addressed this issue on a very professional level. Like lets be real here. And what’s crazy is that I’m the one making studio comics still. I’m seriously considering just scrapping it and starting something new…gotta think of something. Oh my gosh this is so good! I’m all for this, and I’m definitely in hopes that with the new comers, they’ll bring in some more fresh ideas.
  13. I haven't used Painter Sai, however, some artist I've seen on Tumblr that do pixel drawings with Sai come out really nice! I love how the thick to thin works much more fluidly than photoshop.
  14. "Can't wait to count out yer coin!" - Skyrim Enemy lunging to Attack "Thankfully I already don't remember..." - Demoman when he's losing "You know what they say, I just love pouring a hot cup of lapsang souchong tea." - Dr. Robotnik and Hotel Mario YTP "Sixty-five wat?" - Wat meme "Sanic!! 15. Can't wait to count out your coin...

  16. I couldn't decide. But I def chose. Man, now I wish I entered.
  17. There are a myriad of options, but the programs that come to mind are Microsoft Paint (native to all Windows computers), GIMP and Photshop. You can find a guide to GIMP right here, in the GIMP Help Topic. As for Paint, it's fairly intuitive. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend learning the basics of Paint before moving on to GIMP or Photoshop. Photoshop is pretty advanced. It's very similar to GIMP, but with more bells and whistles. If you check out some of the guides in the GIMP Help Topic I linked to, as well as the ones in this topic, you might be able to get a general idea of how to go about comic making. If you're going to make photo comics, it really just comes down to resizing images in panel format, and then adding text. Note to everyone: I plan on remaking the guides in this topic, as well as in the GIMP Help Topic in the near future, so stay tuned! -Rez Thanks, I think I'll use GIMP. I have photoshop and I've never been able to make anything good or even mediocre for that matter. Did somebody say Photoshop? I'm studying Graphic Design, and I use Photoshop all the time! Maybe I could help you out? I actually couldn't download GIMP, it was blocked by my computer, and I have been able to figure out Photoshop somewhat. I'll give you a link to my Brickshelf. I have two comics, one of which was a school project, and two Photoshopped pictures. Do you think you could give me some advice and criticism? (If the link doesn't work, let me know!) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6152333 Ya the link didn't work for me! And I would totally love to help out!
  18. DUUUDE! I think I remember you! You're avatar looks real familiar to me. And I remember being that kid waiting for the day to get my Avokhii! Good times. Good times.
  19. I had a friend who was super adamant about Bionicle as was, but he had all the sets that I wanted, and one day, (I still remember this visually) he asks me if I've ever heard of BZPower? So we hung out at his house and just twiddled in the comedies section and by golly this place was hilarious! And then the rest is history. And now I never talk to that guy, and I'm studying Graphic Design all because of it. Strange how life works...

  21. Obviously the problem with the Bohrok is that they don't have squishy enough squishy things. -Rez Ummm okay, I guess that makes sense? Thanks MIY! Can I call you M-ee-ee? How is it relate-able? Uh thank you, I thought you went on break or something? Bionicle was dead and now they're not dead. Hence they are the living dead. Okay, some quick pointers here. This is one of those things that I think these threads lack. Especially in the community of the comics. First is the heavy lack of criticism. I think what y'all should start doing is start telling me what you like about my series, and what you don't like about my series. It helps me to improve on my work and improves my way of entertaining you more. This way you all can voice your opinions and understand where you stand in the comic forums. This will also help bring a lot of activity. Lots of interactions also help me to create more ideas for the series. Merely telling me, "That looks great, keep it up." Does not in the least inspire me at all, and won't entertain you in the future. So be elaborate guys, lets try to make our posts more meaningful. Kthnxbai
