But they're now amphibious because of Matoro when he wore the Ignika. They were sent by the OoMN to spy on a Skakdi force to see if they'd ally with Teridax and witnessed the creation of the golden fusion. They were then enslaved by the creature and became servants of the Skakdi. Once Annona attacked, the dreams of the Skakdi went wild and they were freed from the control of their captors and their current whereabouts are unknown.
