Hapori Tohu
We now know who the director for the LEGO Movie Sequel will be: Rob Schrab. This is his first time directing a movie, but he has worked in television before the shows Community, Parks and Recreation, The Mindy Project, and The Sarah Silverman Program. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are still writing and producing the movie, but it'll be interesting to see how Schrab handles the sequel. Toa Smoke Monster
While I haven't regularly watched the shows he has worked on, I have read good reviews on them. Hopefully, with this being his first movie, his success on those shows will transfer over the this movie. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story. Nidhiki of the Shadows
Huh, this will be interesting. Those shows are pretty hilarious, so hopefully the traits that make them so great carry over! Plus, Phil and Chris are still writing so it's bound to have a solid script! -NotS
Moku
Well, this puts my fears of a drastically weaker LEGO Movie 2 to rest. I've watched a bit of Parks and Recreation before, and I found it quite hilarious. Hopefully that humor translates well for The LEGO Movie 2. Plus, Lord and Miller are still writing it, and they've always done great work with their movies and shows, so I believe I can safely assume that The LEGO Movie 2 won't disappoint. I've watched a bit of Parks and Recreation before, and I found it quite hilarious. Bear in mind that he's only credit with one episode ("Camping"). He may be a first time director for an animated feature... but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I wish him good luck on the project! masterchirox580
Well this will be either really good or really bad, I'm willing to bet this will be really good. Quote It's time to move on.

See, I'm not too familiar with the show, so I guess I was a bit misinformed. Meh, whatever, hopefully it'll be good regardless.
