Ideas for the gen2 Lewa Nuva weapons

We don't even know if there will BE Toa Nuva in G2. We'll obviously be getting upgraded Toa, but it's too early to assume they'll be based on the Toa Nuva at all.

In any case, I'd like an upgraded Lewa's weapons to maintain some sort of dual function for flight. So wing-like swords of some sort could be cool.

Should this go in Bionicle discussion instead of S&T?

this is only for fun, and is not speculation for what the actual gen2 Lewa Nuva, or whatever his succcesor may be will have as a weapon

I'd like to see something new, since blades that can be turned into wings has been done time and time again. I'm imagining a whip with a blade on the end, which could be tipped with poison/venom in the story. It sounds like a weapon one would use in a jungle to swing on tree branches with. I don't know if the Nuva is exactly what's coming back if the toa are getting more sets, though I doubt it will be. If the toa are coming back, they'd probably have powered up forms, just more akin to their elements perhaps. Or at least that's what I'm imagining. Though the nuva where cool, they were pretty repetitive of the original mata, and just adding more silver this time around doesn't seem like it would work.

Big shurikens that can double as rotors.

Shurikens would make an interesting Toa weapon, but I wonder what the best way to accomplish that would be. My best guess would be a smaller "blade" weapon that could be connected to other copies of the same part with Technic axle connectors, so that the Toa could "hold" them with the standard fist element. But however you built them, they'd probably end up like Pohatu's boomerangs—throwing weapons that couldn't actually be thrown.

I was thinking something along the lines of whatever those Blocko or whatever figures used, but more rotor-friendly.  But it would make sense to construct it out of multiple pieces, like Tahu Mistika's shield thing.  It'd work even better now that there's the triple-female connector piece, so the blades themselves can actually have axles on them for other uses.

Maybe something similar to his 2008 sword? But I'd also like it to retain dual functionality and allow him to fly still.

I have an idea, it was said that a shurikan could be used before, and maybe we can have shurikans that can open up and close?
What I meant by that is the four (or more) blades could fold to look either like a shurikan or wings if you fold them in a specific way.

This sig isn't 100% correct, because I talk way too much.
