Hapori Tohu
It turns out there's a new Star Wars movie coming out this year, and people are excited about it! One of those people is Blog Assistant Ta-metru_defender, who today is taking a look at 75099 Rey's Speeder from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens lineup. It's the smallest set, but does it pack in a lot of value? Or should you pass over it like an old X-34 in Watto's junkyard? Check out the review to find out! Vorahk1Panrahk2
I went out on bought this the day it was released, and think it's a pretty cute set. My only real beef is the rotating spacer pieces right below where Rey sits. The texture on the pieces makes them believable as engine-looking parts, but the fact that they spin loosely breaks the illusion for me. Though I'm also probably the only one who cares about that. The other side of the set is also a little too bland, but it's pretty easy to not look at. All in all I like it. (Is she Han and Leia's daughter!?)I don't know if she's Han and Leia's daughter, but if she's not a Skywalker I'll eat my slipper. fishers64
I do not understand the demand for more story after a full and satisfying conclusion has been reached to said story. I might watch the movie, but I'm only going to go out of my way to see it if there is something special about it that appeals to me. It's hilarious because this is exactly how I feel about people who wanted Bionicle G2 to be a continuation.

Unlike the end of The Return of the Jedi, which was, in fact, a full and satisfying conclusion. Possibly Ewoks aside. 1 Quote Hero Factory RPG | Bionicle Mafia XXIX: Storyline & Theories
Bonkle
I think Disney should've instead put the Force Awakens funds towards continuing the Clone Wars show. That was the best. 1 Quote I been away a long time.

Toa Smoke Monster
I wanted to know more about the set's box! Joking aside, this does look like a neat set. I probably won't be getting it though, but only because I have other sets I'm getting instead. Thanks for the review! P.S. And I can't wait to see the movie either! 1 Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
Toa Zaz
Good review, cool to see your obvious passion and giddiness for Star Wars. Too bad based on the long-confirmed leaked plot Force Awakens is going to be absolutely terrible, but that's for another topic I suppose. Quote Thank you, BZPower staff. In the past, I wish I showed more appreciation for all that you do. From one Bionicle fan to another, thank you.
Ta-metru_defender
I wanted to know more about the set's box! It is a rectangular prism made of cardboard that can be opened and looks exactly like the one you'll find on the shelf of your local toyshop. Kind of ironic, considering that the end of Return of the Jedi was never meant to be the end of the Star Wars saga, while Journey's End WAS meant to be the end of the Bionicle saga (hence its name). Anyway, this set is cool. I hope we get a buildable figure of Rey for the sake of more female representation. Other brands include her in their The Force Awakens action figure lineup, so it's not totally a pipe dream. Anyway, this is a lovely set of a lovely vehicle, and it has a pretty good value for money. Good review. The gif is much appreciated. Quote Latest MOC: PAIGE (Prototype Artificial Intelligence, Gynoid Expression)
