Hapori Tohu
In preparation for the launch of the new 2016 sets, the official LEGO Bionicle Facebook page has updated their cover photo. The new cover photo features the Mask of Control surrounded by shattering stone and veins of glowing green energy, similar to the banner at the top of next year's packaging. You can compare it with the page's original cover photo from September 2014 which featured the Mask of Creation as pictured on this year's packaging. Toa Smoke Monster
The Mask of Control looks really cool here, and the background makes it even more menacing. It's a neat cover for the Facebook page! Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
Rooster Nui
I'm liking this one a little more. It appears more energetic than the one with the Mask of Creation, which had a more relaxed tone. Both are quite suitable for the respective years they're based around, though.
Wazdakka
To be honest, I think the Mask of Creation has more pizazz. Quote Steam Name: Toa Hahli Mahri. Xbox Live Gamertag: Makuta. Lenny7092
I love this picture! It looks epic as the Mask of Control glows with green energy. The green energy makes it look evil, as on the other hand, the Mask of Creation glows in blue, meaning goodness. I like it, as the picture is the new cover photo! A bit early, but okay. Prepare for 2016, guys! Yeah! Quote I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!
Nescent
I love this picture! It looks epic as the Mask of Control glows with green energy. The green energy makes it look evil, as on the other hand, the Mask of Creation glows in blue, meaning goodness.I like that they chose green instead of, say, red. There's a theory that Makuta is not evil at all, just overrun with jealousy, and the green artwork makes it look like Makuta is poisoned, rather than evil. Or probably Umarak is coming to get the Mask of Control. Plus, sometimes, green could mean evil when you are looking at a suspicious character or object. That is sometimes a foreshadowing element in a story. Reminds me of G1 Makuta's essence. Plus, the Mask has red eyes, meaning that Makuta may still be evil after his Mask of Ultimate Power situation with Ekimu. Quote I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory! Nidhiki of the Shadows
Awesome eye-popping keyart! I love it when the official Bionicle facebook page teases us like this - first with that Mask Maker Contest video with the Mask of of Control banner and Uniter poster and now this. Mask of Control looks cool, don't know if it's quite how I imagined it would look in set form though. -NotS Edited December 30, 2015 by Nidhiki of the Shadows
