I was always warned to stay away; probably because that's where the Legendary Dragons were awakened, in the past." Ray stated, seemingly a little guilty."There's one other place I want to very quickly check out; however, I don't want to waste any more time, so it might be a good idea to just split into a very small group..." Ray said, however, he was still concerned. If what that note said was true... He would prefer the 'small' group to be more along the lines of 'just himself', if at all possible. Ray then eyed Ellen as well; she was nice, however, she got into trouble more often than not; and he didn't really want to be responsible for putting her in more danger. However... he paused as he thought that, and thought back for a moment."Ellen, why did you join our group, anyway?" Ray asked, as he realized she had never mentioned that.-==IC: Zach==-"We're heading straight to Iccirus City. Clay recommended that we talk to Skyla to get a ride there. I'd suggest we use teleportation, however, none of us have been to Iccirus before." Zach explained, as Summer frowned."I... might... have been there before. However, I don't think so. I think the furthest I've gone is to the edge of the entrance of Tubeline Bridge. I can't really help with that either." Summer explained, and Zach nodded."It's alright. I forgot about the fact that you've been around here longer, but it's best to try this method; teleportation based off others' memories is a little riskier anyway, after all." Zach explained, and Summer looked intrigued."I see... I've never actually used teleportation before outside of what Team Plasma provides, so I wouldn't know."

"Oh yeah, I guess I never told you guys that," Ellen said. "I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Accumula Town. Even though I live in the Unova Region, I haven't seen much of it outside of Village Bridge, which is where I live, and Accumula Town. I've also taken a few trips to Lacunosa before. Anyway, I was curious, so when the time came for me to head home, I asked my parents if I could walk home. That way I could see more of the world on my journey. They agreed as long at Terry came along to protect me. Right before I left, I met Ryan, and Solo sensed an aura of power coming from his Entei. I decided to travel with him, because he said that he would also be journeying around the region, and it's always more fun to travel in a group."

"Yeah, I probably should have explained that better when we met up in the Accumula Pokemon Center," Ryan said sheepishly.

"It's hard to believe we're almost to Village Bridge," Ellen sighed. "It feels like just yesterday we left Accumula Town. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to travel with you guys to Dragonspiral Tower. My parents wanted me to be home by Christmas, which is coming up pretty fast."

Ray quietly said to himself, though it was barely audible to anyone within immediate earshot of him."... Sonja, you know the region better than anyone else." Ray said, as he turned to look at the Liberty Trainer."Escort Ryan and Ellen to Village Bridge; along with anyone who doesn't join me." Ryan said, and then turned to Ellen."You're needed home soon, so I think it's best, for both your safety and for the deadline of Christmas, if you head back to Village Bridge now." Ray stated, and faced the exit to the city once more."If anyone wishes to join me at the Giant Chasm, say so now, otherwise, I'll go by myself. Be warned, however, this is not just some sightseeing tour... Things can, and likely will, go wrong on this trip there. If you don't feel comfortable with that, go with Sonja, Ryan, and Ellen. I do not mind going alone, either, since I'm pretty sure I can handle myself." Ray stated, not entirely believing that, but... He sighed, and began moving toward the exit once more."I'm also not waiting, since we probably don't have long."

IC: Evan TierraWhen the group had left Undella Town, Evan focused his mind and the Power of Space within him. Then his eyes flashed with violet light, signaling his spacial vision had been activated. He then looked around for Seth, being the Hero of Time, would be easily found, due to his nature."Ah-ha, there you are.", Evan said, walking over to Seth's location, "You really shouldn't run off, Seth. We've got to get moving."

OOC: There's a tournament going on in Driftviel, Sparta, if you want to come and watch. Other than that, there's a group in Undella I think, and my other characters are at Goldenrod. Elite Four.Elite.He looked up in time to see the Substitute breaking. Melon, who didn't hear a command, attacked on his own, with Ancientpower.IC - Juan, Eric, and Pierce, Route 34"This place sure is hilly," Eric said, running down a hill, then proceeding to dash up another. Pierce was standing on a tall hill, with Juan sitting beside him."I don't see much.." Pierce said. "Oh, wait... There's a house over there!" Eric ran up the hill and bumped into Juan, hitting a Pokeball. HIs Politoed came out, and with it, rain. The two shot a dark look at Eric, hair falling over their foreheads."Well," Juan said. "If there's a house there, why don't we dry off.""Before this guy," Pierce added, pointing to Eric. "does anything else."

IC: Strange ForestChaz was still very unsure about these people. Sure they seemed nice but he still remembered when Team Rocket took over Silph Co. and when Saffron City had been occupied."I think the forest is nice. It is quite relaxing but the trip here was not." replied Chaz. Nature always seemed to relax Chaz.Charizard walked confidently beside its trainer. The other three Pokemon were all in their Poke Balls but Charizard refused to let its trainer walk alone with some strangers in some strange place. OOC: I think I need to update Chaz's profile. It is really out of date. If I redo it I might have to retcon some of the stuff in it.

IC- Rex Drake (Goldenrod City):The sea air was nice and crisp. He loved the smell of salt. However, the cool breeze had forced Crunchbite to practically sit on Sparta's tail. The Charmander was, to say the least, annoyed, but he was one of those "go-with-the-flow" types-- he could have a Snorlax on his tail, and he'd only growl in annoyance. Rex's stomach grumbled."How about we get something to eat?" he asked his Pokemon. "I'm sure that there's a nice restaurant around here. If all else fails, we'll see if we can find a McDitto's." "Gib!" Crunchbite eagerly agreed, while Sparta just shrugged, happy to have the Land Shark Pokemon off of his tail.

IC - Sonja Baron/Richie/Gold - Undella Town: Sonja was surprised by this, considering Ray hadn't mentioned Giant Chasm before now. What had prompted this sudden decision to visit the place? She wasn't sure, though she could tell that something seemed to be bothering the Rocket Agent. Still, she figured that whatever was waiting for him there, it wasn't going to be in her best interest to go along--Ray seemed unnerved about the prospect, and by all accounts her team was much weaker than his, as well as most of the others' in the group.After a moment, she nodded. "I can do that.""I'll go with you," Richie offered her. "Just in case anything comes up along the way--I'm sure you could use the extra hand, especially when it comes to protecting someone as young as Ellen.""Good idea," Gold said. "I'll go with Ichigo to the Chasm, then."IC - Kyle Eston - Driftveil: "All right," Kyle said. "Then let's head out."IC - Gavin/Ethan/Jackson - Strange Forest: The rest of the group seemed to jump in surprise, whipping around to face Chaz, though Gavin held a hand up, recognizing him from Lavender Town. "It's fine--he can help us," the Rocket agent said. "It's Chaz, right? I remember you from that Hypno incident.""All right, new guy, awesome," Jackson said. "We should keep moving, though--they can't be--"Jackson was interrupted as what sounded like a battle came to their attention, shrieks and roars echoing in the distance. Quickly glancing at one another, the Rockets took off toward the mountain again, speeding up as they headed toward the war zone...IC - Quincy Adams/Déoza Agents/Masked Man/Mewtwo - Base of Mountain: Things had taken a horrible, horrible, horrible turn--even Adams had to admit that. Twelve agents killed in a matter of minutes, on top of multiple Pokémon, leaving around four Elites, Damon, Adams, and Mewtwo to face these.... things. No one knew what to actually call them. They were not Pokémon, at least not of any known species, and they were certainly not of human origin. Regardless, they were absolutely abhorrent--looking at them was enough to make Adams' stomach churn.There were twelve of the beasts in total. Of those twelve, ten were serpent-like, eerily similar in body structure to a Gyrados or a Milotic. But their heads... could they even be said to have heads? Their long bodies, with double-finned tails, ended abruptly at a four-pointed, curved crest, from which all four horn-like points curved backward. In the center of the crest was a single, glowing circle, with a horizontal line cutting through it, giving the appearance of an eye. Thousands of wire-like strands spilled out from the base of the creatures' necks, giving the appearance of hair; from what Adams had seen, they appeared to possess some sort of toxin, akin to that of a jellyfish, as several Déoza Pokémon had discovered. They had succeeded in killing one of these ten, though that still left the others--and they would not go down.The eleventh creature was... rather baffling to observe. It was a bipedal creature, ape-like in stature with a hunched appearance, though its body seemed to be made of millions of vines and other types of plant matter. It bore a large, almost triangular-shaped head, with a primary eye resembling those of the serpents, along with dozens of smaller ones--almost unnoticeable--dotting its face. From what Adams had gathered, this thing appeared to bear some variant of Vine Whip, and had used it to drag numerous agents and Pokémon toward it--including the initial Déoza casualties, she had realized.This was all coupled with another, twelfth beast, though no one had yet gotten a view of its true form and lived, for it was shrouded in a sort of mist. The thing had--simply put--eaten Damon's Torterra, dragging it into the depths of its clouds and causing it to vanish in an instant, gone without a trace. For now, it seemed content to let the others handle the fighting, though that only served to strike an even deeper fear into the hearts of Ford's agents.Now they had been forced into a circle, surrounded by the beasts as their master looked on with those cold eyes. Quincy glanced from one creature to the next, looking for a way out--and found none."We have to retreat," she said simply. Damon glanced in surprise at her."What about--?""NOW!" she yelled. "We need back-up! Not just Déoza--Pierce, Nine, McKinley, Ford, for Arceus's sake! This is not how things were supposed to go!" She looked at Mewtwo. "Three, get us out of here!"Mewtwo seemed to hesitate, though closed his eyes after a moment. Focusing his psychic powers, he opened a portal in the middle of the group, which the Déoza agents quickly piled through upon recalling their Pokémon. As soon as they began, the creatures moved in, attempting to follow. Mewtwo struck out with his powers, forcing them back.Adams recalled her team, grabbing Mewtwo's shoulder. "Come on--we need to go."No, the Genetic Pokémon said. They'll follow us through--and I refuse to let them into our world. I'll hold them off."You are not staying here," Adams said sharply. She grimaced as she felt a strange force take hold of her body, removing her control over her limbs.I'm not giving you a choice, Mewtwo said. I will return in time. Warn the others. Without giving Adams a chance to respond, he threw the Ford agent into the portal, immediately closing it behind her. That left him free to face the creatures around him, which continued to try and break through his shield of energy...

IC- Rex Drake (Goldenrod City):Crunchbite had wolfed down his meal (two burgers, a small fry, and a shake) in under a minute, while Sparta munched his at his own pace. Rex followed Crunchy's example, starved after the voyage at sea. "Should look around after this," he murmured. "Team Rocket could be doing something here." He grinned at his Pokemon. "And you know how much I love messing up their stuff!"

-==IC: Ray==-Ray nodded."Right, then. That sounds good to me." Ray stated, and turned around, preparing to head out, but then paused and frowned, and he recalled Evan."I wonder when Evan will return... His powers could help, though I'm not entirely certain how..." Ray said with a sigh.

Behind a counter, a young couple looked at them, somewhat confused, as it wasn't raining outside. "Erm.." the man said. "Hello there!""Hey." Pierce said, shaking some water off of him. "Sorry for barging in here, I didn't think there'd be people.. All the lights were off.""Sir," the woman said. "we don't have windows." Eric began laughing."Still, you're somewhat welcome here." The man added. "This is the daycare. If you ever need anything, we'll be here."OOC: Question, are we allowed to use daycares?

"Alright, this will be fun!" Ellen grinned. "If you're not in too much of a hurry, you might even be able to stay for a Christmas party!"

"Do you think someone should let Evan know our plan?" Ryan asked. Although he was glad to finally be taking Ellen home, he couldn't help but wonder what her parents would say when they learned that their daughter had travelled across half the Unova Region with a group of complete strangers.

But Juan shook his head."I'd rather not go into a big city like that. At least, not right through it," he said. "Maybe if you could find a way around it. The forest looks pretty thick." Eric rolled his eyes, and waltzed out of the daycare.He started running up and down the hills, happy to be able to run at last. Very quickly, the skyline of a large city peered over the horizon. Eric continued running, until he heard a stern voice. "HEY! YOU THERE!" He turned over, and saw that it was a policeman. Eric swore, stopping, as the policeman walked over. "What business do you have here?""Why should I have any business at all, sir?" Eric asked, realizing that there was an odd insignia on the policeman's coat, which wasn't the ordinary dark blue; it was green and white. He also realized that he was wearing his favorite jacket; the one with the rocket insignia sewed to the sleeve. Not wanting to attract too much attention by starting up a battle, he instead decked the Liberty agent in the face, causing him to fall down. He opened a Pokeball. "Slush, Crabhammer." The Corphish, not seeing another Pokemon, hit the Liberty agent's head (Eric had to point it out).There wasn't too much noise. Eric dragged the agent off into the woods, behind some trees and bushes. "Heh," he said. "Juan was right, this forest is thick. Anyway, back to Goldenrod!" He began running again, removing his jacket this time, folding it up and putting it in his bag.

"She does have a point," Ryan shrugged as he and the rest of the group followed. They quickly arrived at the northern gatehouse and passed through it to Route 13. Stepping out onto the route, Ryan was greeted with the sight of the beach to the east and tall cliffs like the ones on Route 14 to the west.

IC: James was searching through all his old files on clones.

 

We can't risk the legendaries, even I agree with that. This could give suitable... substitutes so we don't risk throwing nature out of balance... Of course, that still leaves morals of regards to cloning and risking the lives of those clones to deal with... he thought beginning to lean back in his chair.

 

I appreciate a leader who is idealistic, but we need to be practical if we are to win. No wars are won without a few casualties...He sighed as he continued his inner monologue, I don't think it would be impossible to find a way to keep it hidden from Goldhawk, Team Liberty's information network isn't as strong as Team Rocket's, if I could... acquire a suitable location for these experiments. But that means taking on an entire Rocket base without the support of Team Liberty and convincing Executive Vert to go behind Sir Goldhawk's back, until we have enough data to present more... acceptable risk levels. I don't know her well enough to ask for her to do that... yet. If she doesn't think of my plans so favorably, then I would be jeopardizing my standings with Liberty. And that is unacceptable.

 

James finally got up, and began repacking his things. Well, first things first, I need to complete the information in my files about cloning. I suppose I should also check on Executive Aaron's fight against Team Energon, though I doubt that Energon has been searching for new ways to make their process more risk-free.

 

OOC: No other IC's yet, will probably write a Richard one later.

To put it simply, though, there's nothing wrong with that, though I'm not sure I would allow more than 1 EXP to be gained from leaving a Pokémon there.Sparta: There is certainly Rocket property in Goldenrod, however, as Team Rocket is in control of Johto and Goldenrod happens to be essentially the center city of that region, you're unlikely to be able to do that without getting either arrested and/or beaten at the most or resisted by Elites at the least.As for names--Attila, Hun, Butch, Cassidy, Jessie, and James (and whatever others exist) all technically exist as characters, even if they haven't actually appeared, so yes, but whether or not you use that naming theme is up to you--as you can probably tell, none of the other Rocket PCs use it.And yes, there is, iirc.
