Utah Gets Its First LEGO Store

Recommended Posts

Coming this fall, Utah will get its first ever LEGO store, to be located in the city of Murray. The store itself will be placed between a Macy's and a Crate & Barrel in the Fashion Place Mall, and will have a total area of 30,000 square feet. A LEGO spokesperson confirmed the location, but declined to provide any more details. You can read more in the Salt Lake Tribune.View the full article

B...but even though I've passed on the opportunity to report some recent LEGO news, I did report this. D:

Here is the list of new stores coming this year:

  • Danbury Fair, Danbury, CT
  • West County, Des Peres, MO
  • North Star Mall, San Antonio, TX
  • Fashion Place, Murray, UT

Just in case anybody hasn't seen yet.

None of these are anywhere near me, but thankfully I do have one that's only 30 minutes away, and another only 1 hour away.

Looks like the article is adding more detail to the previous announcement saying there would be one in Murray.

It's pretty cool that Utah's getting a store, however, I've been to Murray and it doesn't seem that suitable of a place for the one LEGO store. Ah well, sounds like it's gonna be a cool store.

Up, down, turn around, please don't let me hit the ground
