I've heard rumors there were originally going to be four books, what kind of changes did you have to enact to merge them together into one book?

Do you have any kind of story bible for this universe you've been keeping, or a set of rules for it or anything? Just for people who want to write about things in this universe is all.

Also, how much backstory did you give everyone that never showed up in any of the epics?

E: I meant that the backstory never showed up, not the folks who never appeared. Although you can answer it both ways if you want =p

What were the reasons for keeping each surviving character alive?

Who was your favorite character to write? Least favorite? What was your favorite scene to write?  Least favorite?

In the deaths of Burnmad, Myself, and Ehks(to name a few), Dark Taka Nuiva seemed to aim at the chest/midsection area most of the time. Only exceptions being Ehks' hip and My face. Question is, what kind of an effect would the rust cannon have on other materials? say, buildings or roads? and would it have an effect on non-solid matter, like oil or clouds?

Are you going to write another book about the remaining cast's adventures in other universes?

I'm not fully clear on the geography of this universe. Where and what exactly are BZ-Koro and BZ-Metru, and are there any other significant differences in the structure of the universe?
