In case it's not obvious, Avohkah Tamer, Laughin'Man, and myself have been unable to convince one miss Turakii #1 Lavasurfer to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
You have your assignments people! Get to work and SPREAD THE WORD! The more people the better!

So, as I was going about putting together a bio for the staff page, I was met with a dilemma.
The picture. I could go one of three ways. I could simply put a photo of myself like some had, take a picture of myself and edit it to make me look really cool, or...
I could simply throw something together to make myself look incredibly nerdy and ridiculous.
Also, thanks to ChocolateFrogs for finally getting around to putting it up.

Good gracious!
Seriously, what's the rest of the staff doing over there in GD? They let a bunch of spammers role-play as dolls for nearly THREE DAYS before they finally got it under control?
Good grief, maybe I should have been assigned to forums instead of the blogs.

Not to take away from my last entry, but....
If you've never listened to the BZPowercast before, now's the time to do it! There's a whole segment of Black Six interviewing Hazmat, Nuhrii the Metruan, and yours truly!
And don't forget to leave feedback in the talkback, 'cuz I'll be watching it closely!

I may have joined the ranks of staff now, but rest assured I have not forgotten about my many fans out there!
And let's not forget what today is. What's that? You forgot? Why it's March 31st, of course! That means it's Steak Boy's birthday!
In turn, that means that it's time to celebrate with a brand-spanking-new comedy! (and this time it's better than the horror that was "Steak Boy Buys Flowers")
Steak Boy Buys A Vacuum Cleaner
I'll leave this entry open for misc. Steak Boy discussi
Best ten bucks I've spent in a LONG time.
I can't even remember the last time I laughed that hard. Heck, I've never even heard my friend laugh that hard ever.

You know, just before I was asked to join staff, I had pretty much fully decided I was going to permanently drop the name "Takuma Nuva" in order to make the character more "independent" and not immediately associated with me. However, when I was promoted I didn't want to join under a brand new name. Otherwise there'd be a whole lot of "Hey, where'd Takuma Nuva go?" and "Staff? I've never even heard of this guy before!"
If I wasn't staff now, you'd be reading the blog of one named "Lynch Pin".
There's nothing quite like remembering things the moment before you've spelled your own doom.
I can think of plenty of times at my job where I averted disaster or embarrassment by remembering things at the last possible second. I know I'd be mad if somebody forgot to put the ranch in my to-go order.
There's also those times in conversations when you're about to say something and right as you open your mouth you realize that a person in the conversation might be offended by something or the
Arguing, flaming, trolling, fighting, etc. etc. etc. isn't getting anyone anywhere good.
Look, guys, the rules aren't going anywhere, regardless of what you, I, or anyone else think/want/whatever.
Just as some general information for you all, here's your options:
1) You're well within your right to simply leave BZPower. Nobody's keeping you here. However, if your act of leaving includes, "I'm outta here, yo. You all suck and should die," then you're probably "worse" than those you're ha
Normally, I wouldn't even link to something like this because I'm not one who typically likes being the center of attention. I prefer to kind of hide along the walls and corners, y'know?
However, this blog entry made me smile and Sumiki's comment was so gosh-darned hilarious, I couldn't resist.

When I'm thinking about nostalgic things, sandboxes always come up eventually. Many hours were wiled away playing in the sandbox when I was 4, 5, 6, 7-ish years old.
Our sandbox wasn't one of those fancy, cheap, plastic deals either. Our sandbox consisted of four long pieces of wood. Sort of like square logs, for lack of a better description. Worked for us because it was a decent size, too.
Let me tell you, we knew how to have fun in the sandbox. We would get sand everywhere. I don't remem
Ever have those days when you can't help but feel excessively sorry for yourself?
I hate my job. I hate my boss. I hate that my money is getting tighter all the time. I hate that I can't get a different job. I hate that I can't figure out what I'm going to go to college for. I hate that I really don't know the first thing about going to college. I have friends who are sick. I have family that's being nothing but a bunch of--

I've been so busy lately with my new "responsibilities" that I almost forgot that I said I was doing The Weekly Cool on Wednesdays!
Obviously too many of you guys aren't old enough to remember things like last week's Tape Rewinder, so I'll try to shoot for something a little more current.
Now I'll bet when you saw "Staff" you thought I was going to talk about the administration, moderators, and such of BZP. Well no such luck. I'm talkin' about sticks here pal.
I mean, think about it. S
Seriously, why is it that I can't just boot up some Team Fortress 2 and start smacking people with my frying pan anymore without somebody saying "DOOD I WILL TRADEZ U FOR DOZ EARBUDS I HAZ LOTSA PAINTS AN HATS AN WEPUNS".
I mean, really? Just run down to Best Buy and they've got all kinds of 'em for less hassle and probably cheaper.
Kids on the internet these days...

WE STOPPED AT CARIBOU COFFEE ON THE WAY HOME FROM CHURCH THIS MORNING.
I GOT A BERRY WHITE MOCHA FULL-CAF.
I SANG ALONG TO THE BEE GEES ON THE WAY HOME.
I HAVE WAY TOO MUCH FREAKIN' ENERGY.
I WROTE YOU ALL A STORY.
Once upon a time there were these dudes/dudettes who were, like, referred to as the "blog staff" and one of them was Nuju Metru, but he was all, like, "Seeya later, peeps. I'mma go work somewhere else now." So, like, DeeVee, Valenti, Ta-Metru Defender, Bfahome, Shine, N
This is really going to take some getting used to. I mean, suddenly everywhere I go there's this intimidating green text stalking and haunting me. Not to mention I never even got to be a POBZPC. That was, like, my dream, dude. POBZPC sounds soooo much cooler than PBA.
Not to mention, now that I'm....staff? That's just feels weird saying it, or typing it too for that matter. But now, like, I'm gonna have a reputation and all these standards to live up to. Talk about pressure.
Then there's a
Forums offline for sooo long. I never realise how much I love my BZPower until these things happen.
Anyways, this is something I was going to start up before the offline bit. I wanted to do something on a regular basis since I'm so bad at doing that. Y'know, a personal thing I'd like to overcome. I also decided that I was going to do in on Wednesdays becase my mid-weeks are so boring. Yes, I'm aware it is currently Thursday but I don't feel like waiting another week.
Basically, the idea is
One of the things I've come to notice about New Member Q&A is how many times I've seen several topics repeated again and again and again. I've been meaning to do this for quite some time and just now finally got around to doing it. I've spent the past two days putting together what I believe to be the most-asked questions in NM Q&A in the hopes that it'll help keep these topics to a minimal. Others may be added in the future if they were forgotten or just need to be added.
Please, if
Say what you will about the comics subforum. There's still no denying that, regardless of comic quality, some of them are the darned funniest people on BZPower. I realize this looking through my own quote blocks.
I hope I still fall under that grouping.
