Recently, I have bought (in no particular order):
-Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Quite a good game so far. I'm on Day 290 or something like that, but I'd definitely say it's a pretty decent game.
-BIONICLE: The Game (for the Gamecube). I'd say it's a so bad it's good game in some parts (especially the final cutscene) and Nintendo Hard in others (the Tahu Nuva level right before the boss battle against Makuta comes to mind). It's got nothing on Days, but since I only bought it for $5 I suppose

So earlier today I got my temporary permit. Now I am actually allowed to drive on the road (with an adult in the passenger seat, of course). Got to hold it for at least six months before I can apply for my actual driver license, thought. Not that I am complaining, since I'm not very comfortable with driving just yet and probably won't be for a while. Six months ought to be plenty of time for me to practice, hopefully.

Okay, I am writing a short story for the 2010 Library Summer Olympics, even though I didn't think I'd make the deadline. Guess the fact that the deadline was extended a week gave me the inspiration to write a story. Now all I have to do is actually finish and post it within the next six days or so.

The BIONICLE graphic novels I'd ordered in the mail earlier finally arrived today. The only one I really read was Legends of Bara Magna, which I enjoyed very much.
My favorite story was probably The Fall and Rise of the Skrall, for reasons I don't think I am allowed to discuss until we're allowed to discuss spoilers. All I can say is that it was very well written, IMO.

Yesterday my brothers and I watched Toy Story 3 (in 2D, by the way).
Very, very good movie. Humor was great, plot was nice, and the characters actually got some decent development. I think TS3 is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time, since I have no major criticisms with it like I do with other movies I've watched recently. It was a fun movie to watch and I definitely think I'll be buying it once it comes out on DVD.

I just ordered BIONICLE graphic novels #2-#9 off of Amazon a few minutes ago, plus the last Percy Jackson book. I may not need all of them, but if buying these graphic novels will help to convince Papercutz to make #10 then I'm all for buying graphic novels.

In this chapter, Oggak, Hajax, and Jokao are confronted by a crazed Matoran and his strange pet dragon, while the battle for Koro Nui on the surface ends in a bittersweet way. Although one of the Tuikas is slain in the fight, the others discover that Addis was killed by the Tuikas and almost everyone mourns this tragic loss. I'm going to have a cavity filled on July 9th, one day before my birthday. Last time I had a cavity filled in was like, two years ago, and I really did not enjoy it then.
Oh, well. At least I'll have a nice smile for my birthday. Anyway, it's necessary, since I value my teeth quite a bit and wouldn't want them to rot just because it feels uncomfortable to get a cavity filled in.

In this chapter, Akuna and Dusa join the defense of Koro Nui on the surface, while Oggak, Hajax, and Jokao desperately seek an exit from the massive maze of tunnels they have found themselves in. During this time, Hajax reflects on how much his goals and plans have changed since he first encountered the Toa Shika a few weeks ago, although he does not necessarily see it as a bad thing himself.

In this chapter, Hajax, Jokao, and Oggak head deeper into the tunnel in search of another way out. They soon discover a fork in the road, but aren't sure which one leads out. Jokao uses his Mask of Spirit to search down both potential exits and, after a brief search, concludes that the left tunnel leads to the surface. A few days ago I finished the second draft of Dimension Hoppers, which was around 56,000 words or something like that and less than 100 pages long according to Mircosoft Word. It was an interesting challenge, writing a story with two first person narrators, but don't expect me to post it any time soon. This draft was mostly practice so I could get used to the different personalities of the two main characters, Isarot and Kiriah, and as a result has a lot of errors that I didn't bother to correct
Chapter nine of AUA is up and ready for reading (that is, if anyone is interested).
In this chapter, the Tuikas assault Koro Nui. Nastan and his group of Matoran meet them head on, but are almost overpowered before Addis and the others arrive to fight. However, Addis is badly injured by one of the Tuikas and falls unconscious from his severe wounds. Will the Toa Shika and the other guardians of Koro Nui defeat the Tuikas or are they doomed?

Yesterday I got the Rahkshi Stars set from Wal-Mart (which is where I've gotten all of my Stars sets from so far, oddly enough).
It's a cool-looking set and really does remind me of the original Rahkshi sets, but I find it very hard to play with and pose because of its staff. It's articulation is a bit too limited, IMO, which is unfortunate since I like articulation in my BIONICLE sets. Thus, I wouldn't call it my favorite Stars set, but it is definitely not the worst of the bunch.
