I was all set to do a entry covering my Boy Scout Troop's Court of Honor when we got hit by a huge snow storm. The court of honor was postponed until next Monday.
On another note, I went to the local scout office and ended up spending over $100 on stuff I need for the Jamboree. I probably have another hundred of stuff I need to still get.
On this date in 1910, the BSA was incorporated by publisher W. D. Boyce. Boyce first learned about Scouting when a Scout refused payment for helping him through a London fog. He was simply doing a Good Turn. For 100 years, Scouts across America have kept to that example. Today, we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of this great movement and begin our next 100 years of service.
I had the ACT this morning. Out of all the thngs that I have/had to get done recently this was probably the least stressful.
I had studied a little bit the beginning of last month but I really didn't put too much work into it. I feel like I did a pretty good job. I can count on my fingers the number of problems that I'm not sure if I got right. I really didn't have much trouble with the time limits. I picked up the Heat Vision Rahkshi earlier today. I don't like it as much as I thought I would.
For some reason when I first pulled it out of the container it struck me as orange. After I compared it to Mata Nui it still looked orange but I could tell it was yellow. Oddly enough, I never thought Mata Nui was orange.
How many people would be interested in having a one day Boy Scout avvy and banner fad next Monday to celebrate the Boy Scouts of America's 100th Anniversary.

So I spent about two and a half hours last night planning next Monday's Court of Honor. This is going to one of the longest and most epic court of honors my troop has ever done. The fact that it fall on the exact 100th Anniversary of Scouting in America only adds to the fact.

We had peer review today in my writing class. Luckily I managed to throw the rest of my paper together last night. I had most of it written before that and I was done by nine, so this wasn't one of those all nighters I keep hearing people talk about.
You know, I don't think my parents would let pull an all nighter, even if I tried.

I picked up Ackar from Target today. I originally went in there for the heat vision rahkshi, but they had Ackar so I got him instead.
It goes a nice compliment to Mata Nui and my Tahu Stars. There's nothing complicated about the build. I like the color scheme, for some reason it seems like I'm partial to red sets.
Next on my Bionicle to get list is the Stars Rahkshi. Nothing else really interests me.

After being the high 30's for the last week it has finally cooled down again and is hovering around zero outside. The windchill really isn't helping either.
I've also come to the conclusion that I've been stressing out way too much over the two papers that are going to be due soon. That being said I won't be on too much for a while as I going to be devoting more time to school matters. I'll still be on here to make ocasional posts, but not as much browsing as previously.

Turns out there was a break in my premier membership. I got reactivated now though. So I'm back with Lifetime.
No more worrying about premier ending dates. Now I just need to worry about the end of the site.
My name is also going to get changed back pretty soon. I'm not sure just when though.

For some reason I'm still Premier. Maybe this means there won't be any breaks between the the one year I got last year and the lifetime I just sent the money for.

It turns out that my Premier Membership ends either tomorrow or on Friday, not the 28th like I originally thought. I just filled out the form for a lifetime membership and the money will get sent a little later today so I'll be back pretty soon. I have gotten to 156 entries now so I've made almost an average of one entry every two days.
When my Premier runs my inbox will overfilled so you won't be able to PM me. Not that anyone ever PMs me, I'm just sayin'.

I'm going to have about 10 days starting tomorrow to write an essay reflecting on some event in my life. It has to be 4-6 pages long.
I don't know what I'm going to write about. I have a few ideas but none of them are very promising. The top two are track and the 5 weeks I spent as a CIT in 2008. We're suppose to use dialog but I don't know how I'm going to do that either.

I'm going to try RPGing here at BZPower. This will be the first RPG I've ever joined. I'm not sure how it will go but it should be a fun experiment.
Don't look for me in Bionicle RPG, though. It's going to be the Rock Raiders RPG in LGD that I'm going to join. I've always liked that line, although I don't own any sets since they always go pretty high on ebay. It's also relatively new so I shouldn't have any problems integrating.

About two weeks until my my premier membership runs out. I want to renew but I also want to get some more LEGO sets. My trip to the Jamboree is also trying to get my money too.

Since classes started I've been extremely busy. Most mornings are now spent in class at the local university and afternoons are spent doing homework. I haven't had time to much on the computer at all. Hopefully I'll adjust to the work load eventually but until that happens I won't be posting on here much.
It also doesn't help that the internet on my computer stopped working yesterday. I had time yesterday but my siblings were using the only computers.

Ah, yes back to school on Monday. It was a nice vacation but I'm ready to get back to school. Too bad my first class is at 8:00 AM. At least I won't have to pack any lunches. Then I really be tired.
I had an entry on my class schedule partially drafted but I haven't had time to finish it. Maybe on Monday afternoon. Suffice to say I have at least 1 class every morning except Thursday. I'm taking three classes this semester and the writing class is going to be the worst.

One more week until I have to go back to class. This should be a fun semester. I'm taking Introduction to Rhetorical and Analytical Writing, which probably won't be the funnest class. I can write, and both my papers from last year got pretty good grades, but I don't have fun doing it.
That's balanced out though by the fact I'm taking Trigonometry and Introduction to the Engineering. Both of those are going to be pretty fun. This will probably be the last fun semester for a while though,
So over the last year quite a bit of stuff has happened. I think the biggest thing that's happened for me this year is the fact that I now have my drivers license. That has made it a lot easier to get to class and work. No more sitting and waiting for my parents to pick me up.
Taking college classes for the first time this year was also an interesting experience. Looking back I now wish I had taken a third class. I ended up getting A's in both Political Science 101 and College Algebra
I thought people might want to know. Tomorrow is the first blue moon on New Years Eve since 1990.
Go out and take a look since it only happens once in a blue moon.
