Story: You are a lone Toa, with no known past and no planned future. You make a living in the Matoran Universe by being a treasure hunter. Travelling to the farthest charted regions of the Matoran world, you collect important artifacts or other items sought by many in order to gain profit. Over the last three days, I think the temperature has only spent a handful of hours over freezing temperatures (literally). Every time I've looked at the thermometer, the temperature seems to always be at 20 degrees Fahrenheit, and that's even during the day. Still no snow, save for some small stuff that hung around for an evening. There's a chance of it snowing on Thursday, so fingers crossed for that. Schoolwork has gotten a little more intense than I thought it would be, and as such, I'm going to be taking a two-week leave or so from BZP and internet stuff in general. If I come on BZP, it'll probably be to respond to the odd comment or check messages. If you send me anything, don't count on me responding quickly, though. Until then, I'll have my nose to the grindstone trying to accomplish as much as possible.

If the entry title is confusing, that's the level naming scheme for Doom/IoD. "E" stands for "Episode", "M" stands for "Map". E1M5 in IoD is going to be set in a series of mining tunnels, and is certainly the most customized level the game will have to offer, featuring a number of lifts/elevators, a mutagenic river, and a few teleports as well. So now that I am somewhat caught up on writing stuff, and finally did get a refreshing bit of inspiration earlier, why is it that I feel like I'm worse off than I was before? There are still some other ideas that I'd like to put into topics here on BZP eventually, and even though I want to work on them, I can't seem to get the drive to do it all of a sudden, even when I was ready to write just last night. Can't figure it out at all, and it's driving me nuts.

So, like, after having a month or so of time, I finally edited and revised my entry for the Short Story Autumn Olympics of yesteryear. Basically took out most of the grammar errors, although I think that the vocabulary still could have used a few edits. If you were planning to read it before but didn't, now is the time. Really glad to finally be getting back on track with writing stuff, nonetheless. Reviews would be appreciated, as usual.
The Mansion
It's supposed to be cold and wintery where I live, but it seems that Mother Nature opted for a brisk two weeks of brutally cold temperatures before deciding that spring should be in the air. The temperature is sitting at twice as many degrees Fahrenheit as it should be at this time of year. Normally I'd complain about how it should be snowing, but the weather outside is absolutely fantastic right now. It's warm and breezy just like one of those lazy summer days... and in the middle of winter.
You were probably expecting something more when you clicked this, but it's sadly only an update on my nearly year-old (and still unfinished =/) epic, Search and Destroy. I'd say this is probably my favorite of the revisions I've done so far, even though it's only the third one. As always, I'd like to hear feedback on what you think. If you read the epic before but don't recognize the name of the chapter, that's 'cause I thought the old one sounded cheesy and needed to be changed. *lol* Without
I hate to say it, but this is it. This isn't going to be like before where I've said that I'll be gone for a while and then come back before the week is out, this time I really mean it and I don't have a choice. Life issues have reached a critical point, and if I want to have any meaningful future, it's very likely I'll have to cut BZP out of it. I will not be able to get on BZP again for a very long time. Not a week, not a month, maybe not even in the summer.

So yeah, managed to get my SSAO P3 entry in just literally seconds over the time limit. Not sure if I'm officially into the contest yet, but I'd rather have readers after the contest so I can make edits.
