Vacation! I will not be able to get on BZPower from the 30th to the 7th of July. So that means I won't be here for the RPG Contest! Sad. And I'll also miss out on a crucial week of Day Run. So not only will I not be able to promote Shifting Sands, I won't even be able to cause trouble for Parugi. And I just know he is dissapointed about it. So I leave it all upon everyone who reads this blog post to go out and vote/promote Shifting Sands for RPG Contest 24! Obviously Parugi is in co
Ok, so if Shifting Sands makes it in the contest, some things will need to be clarified. You may ask questions here, and I will answer them if they don't pertain to the story hidden away in this world. Otherwise, I have some questions to ask you. First off, the Toa presenting the RPG, should I tell the story through him? Should he even be there? Should I have him dying to give the first person in the RPG what was given him? If he is part of the story, what element should he have? What ma
Well, maybe. If it's voted in. Stupid equal rights. RPG Contest 24! Wow, here once again. A lot of famous dudes haven't entered RPGs yet, which improves my chances of winning and is ok by me. Although it is a little sad that they haven't yet (but not too sad). Anyway, my entry, Shifting Sands, is up and ready to be voted for as soon as the polls are live! It is literally a sandbox. One does not simply not vote for it. In other news, OPENING POST FOR IT! The room sat, cloaked i
Well, the polls are almost at a close for RPG Contest. Beat and Rhythm is doing good, as is Day Run. But Dreamland: Awakening is five votes away from making it to the next round. It needs those five votes! Don't do it for me. Do it for the sleeping Matoran. They need to be saved! In other news, I finally finished Prince of Persia, and I got the achievement "Speed Run". I had no clue I finished it all in under twelve hours. Am I good or what? ...Don't answer that. Now, I don't know i
For the past five-ish weeks I have been growing a beard for the first time in my live. Wow. My hair grows fast. And now I can say from experience, "Beards are ok." So, continuing my exploration of facial hair and my corresponding handsomeness, I just shaved it today into a Goatee. Conclusion to the current investigation: I am still amazingly good looking. Next mission: Mustache. So, now on to Video Games. I have so much to do! D= I have Bioshock 1 and 2 to play, which freak m
Ok, so, once again another RPG contest is upon us. The entry period is already half over, and a bunch of awesome RPGs have already been posted. Dreamland has once again been entered as Dreamland: Awakening (My first sequel! (Plus my first RPG ever)) Something tells me that it has no chance this contest. Then again, last contest it didn't stand a change either and it ended up beating Captian's RPG by just a few votes. I must say that things went much slower in Dreamland than I had anticipat
Ok, so it appears that my entry of Dreamland has come third! I am shocked, to say the least. I never actually thought that one of my RPGs would ever win. As such, I am so not prepared to lauch it. Adding to this, I will have limited time on my laptop today, but rest assured that I will try my hardest to get it up as soon as possible. So much to do! And so little time! Only three months to work with!
Don't click any of the links provided here unless you want to get signed out. Yep, that's right, they all take you back to the old forums. Just a heads up for anyone that randomly clicks on weird links. In other news, the next RPG Contest will be in December, which gives us all lots of time to play in the Day Run! And also it provides time for me to work on Dreamland, which really means I'll wait until December and then frantically try to upgrade it for the contest.
Seriously, the end of RPG Contest 21 is almost here! Just a few more days left until the voting is over! So head on over here!
Don't worry, there are no voting fees. It's just that if you vote Dreamland or Day Run, you happen to get free, rather enticing cookies.
BioGaia is having some trouble with getting his RPG posted. Probably due to code issues. Ugh, in that sense, BZPower hates me. Anyway, he wanted me to post a small portion of it here. So I agreed, and here are the NPCs.
Non-Player Characters (NPCs)
Username: BioGaia
Character Name: Khiral (KHEE-rahl)
Gender: Male (technically neuter)
Species: Former Onu-Matoran (Matoran of Earth)
Alignment: Formerly Miners' Collective
Description: Being a spirit, Khiral currently ha
So, with the introduction that I made up cuz I felt like it below, what do you think? And yes, the Tournament actually isn't corrupted! GASP! No way, you say? Yes way. Then again, tournament RPGs always seem to start with the tournament and then end up with this awesome story. Well, at least it happened in Tournament of Shadows and Night Ride. Both corrupt. Both awesome. I mean, really, what can we hope to gain from another new tourney RPG? More of the same?
No, I say! More of the
Luminator re-ran his logistic systems. They seemed incomplete, cut off. The A.I. felt like part of him was missing. Why couldn't he remember the simplist things? Take names for example. He knew that he had filed away all the names for the members of Cruise #6. The first Cruise he had oversaw right as he had come online. And also the first tournement of its history. What's history? Luminator didn't know. Sawed off information. A half useful A.I. That was all he considered himself. Like why did th
Sevarinous refused to scream. He would not let them see his pain, although his expression showed it quite thoroughly. His body was slowly being transformed into his element: sand. But he was also being mutated as it happened. Horrible pain wracked his body as he could no longer feel below his torso. Inch by painful inch, his molecules were being forced into something they would otherwise enjoy. Mutated sand is not the most comfortable subsance to be turned into. Sevarinous spent half an hour hoo
Remeber folks:
With that in mind. I had an awesome idea. Is there any rule anywhere that says you can't host an RPG in your Blog? Like where I make a post for the RPG, a post for the Discussion topic, and a post for the Profile topic. Then people would just keep posting in them until they reach a limit. (If there is one)
This opens up whole new possibilities. A lot of bad ones, too, though. People could definately abuse this. Anyone have any idea if this sort of thing is allowed
Ever feel like this?
I haven't! Well, enough about me. Let's talk about myself. Like my content blocks, which I can't think of anything else to put in them.
Well, this is my new idea that I'll be going with for the next RPG contest. Unless people want Ocean Cruise back, that is. Anyway, here is the opening segment:
Showdown
An Endless Boundaries' Production
Have a rough life and want to get away to some exotic location no one has ever seen before? Want to fight until you drop with a no death guarantee? Want to explore for hidden items?
Well then, it seems Showdown is just for you! Instead of past Cruises, which only offered small adventu
Well, the future has arrived. That's right. Here I am in the BLOG!!! world, ready to raise standards and... well, I haven't thought of anything else yet. Anyway... my Premier Membership is submitted and paid for. Now I have a whole year to annoy you all with thoughtless BLOG!!! posts.
How to begin... Ah, yes, I know. You all cannot help but stay here with me, because:
Please note: I do not encourage you to go to any of the web pages at the bottom of my pictures, because while I s
Here's what everyone in the RPG forum missed out on when they didn't vote for me. Well, at least part of the first post.
IC/Endless Boundaries' Industrial Conference Room A1:
A door opened to a room swirling with shadows. "Well, all the slots are filled up for our next group," a feminine voice said from the open doorway, "They're all down in the lobby, waiting." The being stepped in and closed the door behind her. The room once again returned to complete and utter darkness that no amo
Arthur looked up from his lunch. There was a commotion ongoing on the other side of the cafeteria. Not caring, he went back to the tray before him and shoveled in another helping of fries. After finishing them all off, Arthur looked around to see that everyone was still staring at the other side of the room. Now his curiosity was peaked, because he no longer heard any commotion.
Looking up, he saw that the far wall was covered in strange white etchings, almost in the shape of a curved doo
A yellow robot glanced around the room he was in. Monitors were everywhere, each and every one black and blank. The weird part was that all of their CPUs were whirring furiously as if computing some infinite amount of mathematical problems at once. No one else occupied the room except for him. The metal door, locked behind him, was not going to be easily opened by anyone trying to sneak up on him.
The robot unhooked his two right shoulder cables, eased into a chair, and plugged them into
Well....
I'd say that that has to be a record somewhere. Where are those record books when you need them? So, anyway, I now understand the content blocks! Go me! So I should be moving those around and fixing them up soon.
IC / Somewhere Inside ANOUN:
Luminator hummed nervously to himself in the empty room. The members of Cruise #7 were soon to arrive. Any moment they would appear. The AI could not withstand the prolonged wait. What would they be like? Would they like him? Would they help him figure what was going on with Cruise #6 and all these mysterious rumors of other islands? Would they care?
He supposed that they might just want to be on a cruise, but why would they be? Whoever had sent the flye
