With Left 4 Dead 2 having a free weekend this weekend, I've decided to steal the opportunity presented to finally try it out and see if it'll be my type of game. I'm thinking it will be, since it's a Source-Engine FPS with cooperative play and all. That said, Friday night I and some others will be playing L4D2 - there's currently one spot left if anyone else would like to join us. -iBrow (Me) -The BIONICLE Hero/Mr. Chicken -Blade -OPEN However, Blade has approximately three hours to play,
>Left 4 Dead 2 is free this weekend >Two friends and I want to play a co-op game together >Left 4 Dead 2 is free this weekend >None of us own it >One has lag >One refuses to play >Same guy lags profusely when playing TF2 >Same guy plays TF2 at least twice a week ... >iBrow fails to understand this logic
Join us in our cause on Friday by signing up! We train (do nothing) until December, and then we en masse storm BZPower (change our display names)! [/joke]
The time has come for Freelancer iBrow to upgrade his armour, a few years late. Here, you may see what he used to look like: And here, you may see what he looks like now. Chances are he's going to upgrade pretty soon and not resemble his old armor permutations quite as much. Not that it resembles them at all anymore anyway.
Red vs. Blue Season 10: Episode 20 is now live, and boy oh boy does it kick some butt. First off, Donut and Doc are back, so they weren't just cameos way back when! =D We also get to see three characters we'll probably never see again, which sucks, because they were rather funny. We also end on one heck of a cliffhanger... holy pigs. That line that was delivered just summed up all the awesome, and it also brings into question exactly who we're seeing there. Apparently the next episode is
They seem pretty chill. The people, not so much. I've gone from being the only crazy person to being one of many... .__. That said, for crazy people like me, they are pretty chill too. Also, super hilarious quote time. I don't generally do this, but I burst out laughing at that. xD
So much for the skype ambage write-off tonight. >.> Family came over, so there's my evening. Imma schedule myself for an appearance on Saturday, unless fate dislikes me immensely.
Angle the Angel Fish died this morning. We used to have super cool secret telepathic discussions. Oh well, probably merciful for him. He had no room to swim around. >.> Plus, he's the one fish to be "buried" (put on the ground) in the garden, rather than flushed. What an honour
Man, I could go on all day about this one, but I'll just comment that it's been far too long since the last box art of the day. I'll try and keep up with this more, but life and Pixar have been getting in the way. =P That said, this will proably always be my favourite Zelda box art. It has that legendary sense that every Zelda game tries to convey here in NA, but Twilight Princess does it wihtout shiny gold packaging. Half dull gold, half silver, half Link, half wolf, the Twilight Princess
...then I apologize. J.K. Rowling's new book isn't exactly on the bright side of life, nor was Looper, which I'm still thinking about, nor is the German film I'm watching in school about Josef Mengele. And also there's the typical kids aged anywhere in the range of 11-14 that make you wonder if YOU were that stupid and annoying at that age. >.> Anyway that said, I've been thinking about a lot of deep, dark stuff lately, so my brain isn't exactly smiley faces and roses. [/excuses]
Tahu vs. Tahu 2 SHOCKER: it's not going to be called Tahu vs. Tahu 2 because... That is a stupid title and also because... It has nothing to do with the comedy that is being written But I mean, why am I saying this here? Not like you people listen to stuff I say. YOU'RE ALL LYING TO ME, WHYYYYYY?! :U
The Comedy Forum Expo will be running in the Comedies forum this year from October 16th-October 23rd. If you aren't into comedies right now, want to get into comedies, or are just looking to see what's coming up that might interest you, I'd mark it down. I don't know how many new things the other authors are planning on revealing, but I'm revealing... three new comedies, I believe, and I'm fairly certain everyone else will be revealing at least one. Plus, updates and trivia on older stuff too.
6th - Monsters, Inc., 2001 iBrow Percentage: 90 Here we are people - the best of the best, the greatest of Pixar. Anything Rank 6 or higher is a truly spectacular film, probably beyond almost any other animated film you've seen. If I were to make a list of my favourite animated films, al six of them would be up here That said, my complaints about Monsters, Inc. are few and they are minor. The first is that, while Pixar films are intended as a family, back when I was a kid I couldn't
If you go on Google and search "ibrowvoltex", every single result on the first page is me! That said, there's some stupid google site that I didn't even know they gave me. Stupid Google connected-ness. >.> EDITEDITEDIT I looked through the total of four pages - aside from only two results that were in some asian dialect I couldn't understand, every single result was relating to me (thanks Zakaro, your banner turned up several times). Guess I'm 100% unique on the internet! Woot woot!
