Not today... It was supposed to be day one of midterms, but school is closed. Funny, because it's 39 degrees F with zero precipitation or wind or anything. We're scheduled to have some snow... After we would have been released. Any of you in actually snowy regions may proceed in mocking us. Not that I'm complaining, a day off is a day off.
So I'm piecing together my pre-experiment paperwork and introduction for my science fair/extended essay project. It's the fourth year of continuation of a project researching torque joints in carpentry, and I need to do some research on failure modes of wood joints, mostly mechanical stuff, no moisture or combustion caused failures. I particularly need scholarly sources pertaining to nail joints and torque-withstanding joints. So... Anybody just so happen to know of some relevant scholarly a
It was good. Less Lego build posted than I'd like, in part because of lack of time and in part because I've realized how terrible my photography is and am ashamed to post anything. It was the busiest year to far for me. Also the one with the most procrastination. Maybe related? I ended a good school year with the usual grades and decent science fair success and started an insanely busy one. IB is tough. (Again, there's a tiny chance procrastination may factor into this.) Also APUSH/IB H
So, Christmas came and it was pretty great. My family and I enjoyed Christmas at home and then went to my Grandparent's for a few days. It was very relaxing and just what I needed. Gift-wise, here's what I got: Lego (I just asked for "any and all Lego." Turns out you get a bunch of neat stuff that way.) -Hogwarts Express Polybag -Fire Truck Polybag -The Hobbit: An Unexpected Gathering ( ) -Superman vs. Power Armor Lex (minus Superman and Wonder Woman figs [thrift shop]) -Toy Story Trash Com
when you're one heart piece short in Majora's Mask and don't know which one you missed because you were sure you got all of them Excepting, of course the Moon ones but you don't want to go get them until you have all the other ones So you're going back and re-earning every heart piece only to get five rupees or a regular heart or whatever and still not finding that one annoying missing heart piece

I'm pretty ambivalent, really. I was expecting to be really excited at any mention of a new Zelda game, Zelda U or not, but this so far this doesn't look like the style of game I'm interested in. It doesn't look like it will have the gameplay I love about Zelda games. I'm not against it, though. No reason for the tons of fans who have been wanting something like this not to receive it. Then again, with just a minute and a half of footage, nothing is certain yet. I may get really hype for
Wish this game was as cheap for the Gamecube as on the Wii. I borrowed it to play through the first time but I want to own it... on Gamecube. Which due to a strange twist of marketing is much more expensive than the Wii version, which is still available retail for just $20.
Got myself a Timid Protean Froakie, perfect Sp. A, Sp. D and S. I may have literally squealed with happiness. I may also have made an excited, futile effort at explained to my sisters why this was a big deal.
I'm half a Gatsby essay and half a chapter of Psychology outlining from no-life-ing A Link Between Worlds. I'm not sure whether this is wonderful or horrible.
The blogs got amnesia, but it did, I remember. Friend code yay: 0576-4386-4501 Obsessed Elite Four triumphant team (plus two or three levels): Quacklin' (Farfetch'd Lv. 97) Jedward (Greninja Lv. 81) Blaziken (Blaziken Lv. 83) Hermione (Sigilyph Lv. 82) Norik (Charizard Lv. 80) Mordecai (Linoone Lv. 79) Xaeraz the Honedge, Scatcat the Vivillon, and Xaviander the Xerneas helped along the way. Verdict: Pokemon is absolutely amazing. How did I live this long without it? *For Trade*
Peanut butter and pepperoni. Combine on a Ritz cracker if you want, but they're best with a little peanut butter spread on a slice of pepperoni and rolled up.
I rarely post WIPs, but I'd really appreciate any feedback on this. It's a WIP of Ganon's head from OOT. I used screenshots, official art, and a paper craft of the in-game model to try and replicate his face. I'm not sure it really feels like the head of the massive monster Ganon is, though. Really his head is this strange dark green color, but it's so dark during the battle I thought black would be more appropriate. Plus his eyes are positioned correctly, but without the dark atmosphere th
I have about two weeks to enjoy this Premier Membership before school and the International Baccalaureate program start up. Not really looking forward to the workload, but if it makes college easier then so be it.
...except the only other site I'm active on is MOCpages, which we could link to already. Most of the content not allowed on BZP I'm not interested in saying or being exposed to anyway. I can see how the change in necessary and good, particularly since there's a warning involved and you still can't link to non-BZP-friendly content, but I'm not sure I personally really like it or not. But yeah, a great choice on the part of the staff. The recent changes have all be great.
