Hey guys! I suppose you may be wondering about the status of the epic in which some people's Toa star (Hyperion, Nuhala, Sylea, and Kivu). I've hit a couple roadblocks here and there, but I've managed to push through them. At the moment, I've written through thirty-one pages double-spaced on OpenOffice and am about halfway through the fifth chapter. Doesn't seem like much, I know, but I've managed to go through two large battles and one small skirmish (the aftermath of which I posted here a whil
First, I saw The Dark Knight Friday night, and it was awesome. A little long, but not too bad. Heath Ledger's Joker is beyond amazing. Not gonna compare to Jack Nicholson's, though, I find them too different. Best was the pencil trick, though. Go see it, if you can.
There's actually a couple things I want to blog about, including epic status, but not all at once, since I'm pretty tired. Yesterday afternoon I went to a graduation party for a friend. It was awesome. We had Rock Band playing pre
Hello! Lots of things have been going on around here. First, I'd like to apologize for those that sent me PMs that I never replied to -- I promise I will find time to get to them.
Saturday is a graduation party at a friend's house, so I'll be gone all afternoon and most of that evening. But it's going to be fun, since I've only seen one friend from school since graduating this summer.
Yesterday I finally got my phone upgraded. Now, I don't think I ever brought this up, but my old cell phon
I'm gonna try and describe this as best I can:
On old sailing ships (i.e. Pirates of the Caribbean ships) there is a large box thing on the quarterdeck(?) near the helm, usually directly behind it. It's pretty big. My question is, what is this thing called, if it has a name, and what on earth is it for?
This is for use in the new epic. Hope you guys like nautical battles. 8D Anyway, thanks in advance to anyone that could help.
Heyo! For those who didn't know, I did enter Epics Contest #7 with Chasing Shadows, a murder mystery from the Makuta's point of view. Comments are appreciated!
Also, I've written the first two chapters of the new prequel epic to ED. The first takes place during the end of the Toa-Dark Hunter War, and is more or less an introduction to the main characters and allowed me to experiment with Nuhala, Sylea, Kivu and Hyperion (and Schattenu and Scintilla, to a lesser extent). The second chapter is
Well, a couple days ago I compiled your Toa -- all twelve of them -- into a list for easy reference. Yes, it's taken me that long to decide on four. It was extremely difficult, as all of your Toa were extremely awesome and all would've worked wonderfully in the epic. However, I'm not sure I could do all twelve plus the two I've done. Those that were not picked were for a couple of reasons, including elements (having Toa Schattenu be a Toa of Magnetism is an important plot piece that other Toa of
Oh man. What an insane last week it's been. I've got a lot of things to talk about, so get comfortable.
First and foremost: I graduated high school last night. Finally. Ah, I remember when I was a Freshman, "The Class of 2008" title seemed like the end was so far away. It FLEW by. It's interesting, you know (excuse the Bionicle reference): I started my high school life as a Freshman in fall 2004, and I likened myself to the Toa Metru, normal Matoran being thrust into a hugely responsible role
Hello, all! Eternal Darkness is finished, the battled against Makuta Takatu finally over. But what about what happened before? Where did Schattenu come from? This calls for a preqel, detailing Brigadier General Schattenu's history when he was a Toa. I have two Toa for the team created -- Toa Schattenu and Toa Scintilla -- but I need four more for a complete team. This is where BZP members come in.
Basically, you can have your Toa character be a part of Schattenu's Toa team and be main charact
Yes -- the FINAL chapter of ED is up. But, that is NOT the end; I still have the epilogue to put up. Regardless, go on and read what happens to Takatu, the Toa, and others!
Kay, so for my Word Processing class, our final project is a PowerPoint presentation on whatever we want. It has to be at least twenty slides, it needs clip art, scanned pictures, pictures from the internent, yanno, stuff like that. Problem is, I have no idea what to do it on. The teacher suggested we do friends and family, but I'm not a people person and have few non-family friends by choice, so I'll be lucky if I can get seven slides out of that.
Any ideas would be appreciative.
Not. Happy.
First, I put up a new chapter of ED last night, starting the epic final battle, so be sure to check that out.
Anyway, today was our second challenge for Lord of the Flies Survivor. In this one, we got little marker boards to write down answers to questions. We also got a map of the island from the book with a grid over it. Depending on how many people are in a tribe (for us, it was two tribes with four each, and one tribe with five people), you'd put down "X"s on coordinates in
First: new chapter to ED is up. It's pretty epic, if I do say so myself, and I'm really happy with it. So be sure to check that out, as the end really sets up for the grand finale.
So, in my English class we are reading Lord of the Flies. I'm sure most of you have at least heard of it. Anyway, in order to make things a bit more interesting, my teacher has turned this into a game like the show Survivor. We do challenges based on the book and the losing tribe(s) vote someone off at the end of e
Heyo! Long time no blog, I know. Teachers gave us a week or so break after Senior Trip to get back in the swing of things before nailing us hard. Too bad we'll never get back in the swing of things. As such, I've had all kinds of assignments due the past couple weeks, including 80 lines worth of poetry. I've finally managed to get all but one of those assignments done, so I can actually blog.
Anyway, someone at school managed to talk me into buying the first season of that show Scrubs on DV
Found this picture and thought it was awesome and inspirational. Here's the description:
"Viscous lava from Kilauea volcano pours into the ocean at Kalapana, Hawaii, on the morning of Wednesday, March 26. As the molten rock touches the cool seawater, it instantly solidifies, then shatters, creating a new black sand beach."
Happy April Fools Day! Loved the Antroz-Rachel Ray picture on the main page.
Anyway, I've been back from Senior Trip since Sunday, but I haven't said much due to the fact that the trip completely drained me. I'm still beyond exhausted. And I'm more than a little unhappy that I'm back at school and not in Orlando. I'll type up all the stuff that happened and everything later, when I'm more back in reality. I will say that it was the single greatest experience of my life.
In the meantime,
First, new chapter of ED is up; go read it, it's EPIC.
No, I'm not leaving BZP. I'm heading off to Disney World in Orlando, Florida tomorrow for my High School Senior Trip. I'll be gone until late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, and I won't have access to any computers. So I'll see you all in a week! Don't let the site die without me!
... Scared ya with that title, didn't I?
Chapter 9 of ED: VotD is up. I really liked how the dialogue in this one turned out. It is a bit short, though.
And I'll put another chapter (this one inspired by Transformers) tomorrow before I make an announcement. Until then, I smell cookies baking. Happy Easter everyone!
I know I'm way late, but I never thought of it before. I was doing something in my room (or supposed to be doing something, I can't remember) earlier today when I glanced down at Icarax's box in the corner. He has such cool box art, and I thought, "Wow, that would make an awesome desktop background/wallpaper." Then I realized: Why aren't there any titan wallpapers on the Bionicle site? Or even Matoran?
Just thought it was odd.
Or close to it. Scary weather out there.
Anyway, for those who didn't know, I posted another chapter of ED the other day. Yay.
*blown away by god-like winds*
