Yay For Audio Books!

Kay, I dunno how many, if any, other achools do that Summer Reading thing where you read at least one book (depending on class level) and take a written test on it when you get back to school. I had to do The Great Train Robbery by Michael Crichton, which is probably the only decent book on the list -- it was either that or Boy's Life: A Memoir. ><   Well, I kept putting it off and putting it off to read other books, like Prisoners of the Pit and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, not

Paxton Fettel

<--- You see that guy? He's insane. And psychic. And cannbalistic. And probably demonic. He's the main villain of F.E.A.R.   And he's my characters brother. And Alma's our mother. But he's got a cool voice.

Hatana And Music

Well, it's Friday. Probably due to lack of science and math classes, but my school days have gone by a lot quicker than any other year. Except for today, for some odd reason. Probably because it was Friday and I wanted to go home.   Well, I finally got around to writing a new chapter of ED, referencing to a character I may or may not bring into the story I've named Hatana. She's inspired by Alma from F.E.A.R., but whether or not she does make it into the story, I will tell that there are some

I Officially Love Wednesdays

Even if I can't ever remember how the heck to spell them (thank you date informer on my computer clock). Why? Because I, along with about nine other people, have no science class this year. The past two years, when you have a science class (usually Biology and Chemistry), they'd always be the period before Gym, so that on one day of the week, you'd have a double-lab period. This means that for that one day, instead of going to Gym, you'd stay in science for a second period to do a lab.   This m

Perseus Mandate

Well, both F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. Extraction Point have been completed. For those that want to know what happened, but won't buy the game, here's some spoilers:   Kay, so I find Harlan Wade after tracking his daughter Alice Wade to some abandoned facility while she was a captive of Paxton Fettel. When I get there, Harlan beat me to shooting that fat mess Norton Mapes. He told me that Harlan went into the Vault and sealed it behind him; if I didn't get in there fast, either he or Fettel would rel

I Gots It!

I got the updated Bionicle Encyclopedia. Oh yeah.   EDIT: And oh my, is there new information. One particularly interesting bit at the end of the Brotherhood of Makuta entry.

And So It Begins...

School. You have no idea how close I was to crying when I saw it. Eh. So, a runthrough:   Homeroom: It's homeroom, not much. However I got stuck between the two loudest girls in the room, who of course talk to each other. Thank God it's only ten minutes long. Politics/Government: I have the same teacher as my History class last year, so at least I know her. She did warn us that once we got into the opinionated parts, chances are there will be some heavy arguing. Betcha I'll be the loudest. S

Goodbye To A Few Things

Don't worry, BZP isn't one of them.   First, today is my last day of summer *cries*. Naturally I stayed up all night, so I'm a little tired. Man, I really, REALLY don't want to go back to school. I've had way more fun during the summer. I'll be a Senior, and while I know it's more than likely my easiest year by far, I'm not looking forward to government and politics first thing in the morning at 7:00 AM.   Second, yesterday my brother moved into college (I've got the muscle pains from carrying

Saw 4 And Stephen King's The Mist

Yup -- they released the teaser for Saw IV. I haven't the slightest idea as to how it's going to play out after the ending to Saw III, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised; I know the others have definitely had their shocking twists (although the first retains the omega OMG-ness).   AND they've released a trailer for a movie based on Stephen King's "The Mist". I have not read it, but I really want to. They say it's among his scariest stories ever. My mom read it (she loves his stuff) and she s

Big... Robots...

I'm not scared of the paranormal stuff in F.E.A.R. anymore.   They just threw this ginormous robot thing at me with twin rocket launchers on each arm. In an extremely narrow hallway. So I had to figure out how to destroy the thing with my own rocket launcher without blowing myself up while it's shooting me with four rockets at a time. And I ran outta rockets before it died.   So I did a hit and hide strategy and eventually morphed it into nothingness with a shotgun. O.o 'Course, that was afte

First Encounter Assault Recon

A.K.A. -- F.E.A.R.   That's right. My grandfather finished both F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. Extraction Point (expansion), so now it's my turn. Man, at least with DOOM 3, I got time to get used to everything before the freaky stuff happened. Twenty seconds into this game I'm already seeing people that turn to ash, doors are slamming themselves shut, paint cans mysteriously get knocked off of shelves, and at the end of that first level a bloody Paxton Fettel -- psychopath I'm looking for that has a tel

No Wrath Like A Toa Scorned

Well, I FINALLY got around to posting my new short story. If you like the first, you'll love this one. Makuta was insanely fun to write about.   So go read it! 8D

Eh... Schedule...

Well, much to my dismay, my class schedule for Senior year of high school arrived in the mail today. For those who care:   1 -- American Government & Comparative Politics 2 -- Survival Skills for Independant Living (probably the most useful class ever) 3 -- Lunch (I have lunch at 9:15 in the morning!!!) 4 -- Word Processing 5, First Semester -- Journalism 1 5, Second Semester -- Creative Writing (oh yeah) 6 -- Sociology & Contemporary Issues 7 -- English 8 -- Gym 8 (second quar

Fun With Maxilos And Spinax

To entertain myself this afternoon, I decided to mess around with Maxilos and Spinax. Maxilos is, after all, the most posable and articulated set to date, I think. Sorry for the ginormous pictures; I promise I'll fully figure out my camera one day.   Good doggy... Nice doggy...   TAKADOX!!! HELP MEEEEEE!!!   AAARRGH!! IT'S GOT ME!!   *Growl* *Whimper*   "So, after eighty thousand years, we meet again, Carapar."   "Come, Carapar. Help me find the mask, and I will reward you greatly..."

Question For National Treasure Dvd Owners

You know that secret key thing you use to get into that book thingy on the menu with more extra features? And then there's that thing for the Master Code? The little thing in the DVD box says to listen closely to Riley, he might have a clue that'll lead to the Master Code. I played through his decoder game and got that 0421 number from the colorful multi-lensed glasses, but where do I go from there?

The Sea

Seeing ToM's Mahri Nui art just made me get really obsessed with the sea. I still hate the beach with a passion, but I LOVE the ocean itself.   Which brings me to my next point: along with writing, I think it would be great to be a treasure hunter. Watching the National Treasure: Book of Secrets trailer got me into it. Plus there's a treasure hunter thing on the first NT DVD. It's perfectly legal, and satisfying. In the meantime, though, I'll stick to my strength in writing.   I was going to

New Chapter!

Go ahead and read and review! 8D Oh, and in case some of you missed it, I added another chapter a few days ago, too, so don't forget to read that first. It's pretty important to Schattenu's role.

No More Coffee After 10:00 Am

Kay, so I was writing a new chapter of my epic last night, and it was getting good and I didn't want to lose my train of thought, but I started getting sleepy. My mom said that one cup of coffee should keep me up that extra hour to hour-and-a-half to finish the chapter. I discovered that my systems work differently than hers.   So I was up all night. Meaning as of now, I've been up for 26 1/2 hours, and I'm WIDE AWAKE. But it was a really cool chapter...   In other news, my brother and I manag

I'm Quite Upset

Microsoft is actually destroying creativity now.   As I'm sure many of you know, people have the ability to create movies with video games if they wish, called machinima, which has been particularly prominent with Halo and Halo 2. Well, now it looks like the only movies you can make are of people standing around. Someone who runs a Halo 2 machinima site put it best (it's got forums):     Now, the problem is that the said site that had written this article is a site that I have been a member

The Last Crusade

I finally watched the last Indy movie and caught up with the rest of the world. It was awesome. Sean Connery as his father was the greatest thing concieved. Best parts, in my opinion:   *Indy and Dad are tied to chairs back to back in burning room* *They try to make fireplace turn around, but it goes all the way around and puts them back in burning room* Dad: Our situation hasn't improved.   *drives out of tunnel through exploding plane wreckage* Dad: Can't get any closer than that! *secon

Music Of The Darkness

For those that didn't see, my last entry I said I was looking for music that screamed "EVIL!" for a project of mine. Well, I found it.   Not sure if anyone would remember, but a while back I mentioned this game that came out recently for PS3 and X-Box 360 called The Darkness. It's rated M for a good reason, so don't say I didn't warn you.   Anyway, I found the main theme music. WOW. It's awesome. Whenever you hear it all you can think of are people like Voldemort and Makuta and Sauron and othe
