So Tired...

Being unable to sleep in on Saturday because of SATs has thrown off my sleep schedule so much. I've been exhausted since then.   I dunno how it happened, but I banged my elbow on part of a window on the bus this afternoon, and now it hurts really bad. Which makes no sense, because I've hit it in the same spot WAY harder before and the pain lasted only twenty minutes, tops. This has been going on all day. I can move it, so it's not broken. But if it isn't better by tomorrow, I'm getting it x-ray

Part Of Me Just Died Inside

First, the SATs: infinitely easier and less stressful than HSPAs, except for the math sections. But I suck at math (I was good up till fourth grade). Longer than I would've liked, but it's over and done with.   Now, Spider-Man 3. Great movie. Extremely long, but good. However, the first two were better, IMO (Spidey 2 was by far the best, I think), mostly because of one reason.   Now, I am a huge movie fan. I rarely watch TV series (LOST is about it), mostly movies. I have more DVDs than I know

Sats And Spider-man 3

First, for whatever reason, this had been bugging me to death, so I must reiterate: SPIDER-MAN. THERE'S A HYPHEN. NO SPIDERMAN OR SPIDER MAN. SPIDER-MAN.   Thank you.   Yeah, so tomorrow morning I go take the SATs at 8:00 AM. Really not looking forward to it, but better to get them over with, I guess.   Afterward, since the test takes like five hours, I'm napping to recover lost hours of sleep. Then after dinner I'm gonna go see Spider-Man 3! Yayzees! VENOMMMM!!   Yeah, that's it. Nothing e

Something New

I need something to spice up this dull blog. Any suggestions? I'm not an artist, so...

Pridak And Defilak

Just thought I'd share my favorite passage from Bionicle Legends #6: City of the Lost, which is a conversation between Pridak and Defilak:   Before he could stop himself, Defilak said, "You're a fraud. Barraki were not creatures of the water-depths. They were warlords of the surface world."   Pridak reached into the bubble and dragged Defilak out. Only the fact that his personal air bubble was still in existence, if razor thin, kept the Matoran from drowning immediately. "Come with me," sa

Iced Earth -- Dragon's Child

For English class, we had the greatest assignment: find a song whose lyrics had some literary value, give them to the teacher, describe them, and play the song. I LOVE music. Many bands I listen to I think have absolute geniuses as lyricists. She assigned it last week, so I figured that after the Virginia Tech incident, I'd do the Nightwish song "The Kinslayer", which he wrote in memory of the Columbine shooting in 1999. It was so easy to write about its meaning and imagery, and I got some prais

You Will Lose Everything

I dunno if you guys knew, but the new Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix trailer has been released. Looks amazing. It seems that they cut out very little, which is good -- they cut out almost half of Goblet of Fire. And Helena Bonham Carter is in it as Bellatrix Lestrange! That's SO perfect.   We finally got to eat the manicotti we've spent the last week making in cooking today. The sauce had no taste, but the salad and garlic bread were good (garlic bread=eternal <3).   Also, in the

At Last

Well, I beat Scratches. Oh. My. God.   I had glanced at a couple walkthroughs -- they all said "Climb through the wall and you beat the game!" and "Climb through that hole and you're done!" Never did I expect an ending quite like that. I won't spoil it, but ironically, just before I thought "Wow, there weren't as many scary things in this game as I thought." Heh. Hehehe. Two seconds later I met the motherload.   But you still never figure out what exactly happened! Who was that guy at the end?

The African Mask Of Death

So I'm on the trail of what happened in this Victorian mansion in Scratches. It involved a mask that I believe is possessed.   Early on I found a journal in the guy's study. Keep in mind that sources say that he murdered his wife and then killed himself for unknown reasons.   But the journal related his trip to South Africa in search of the Dhaarma tribe. He found them. They had this weird mask that they worshipped. But when one tried to touch it, the others moved in and, with their hands only

Warmness!

So, how'd we go from mid-winter weather to near-boiling in less than two days?   Who cares? IT'S FINALLY WARM OUT!!!   We were so close to a cooking class without any incidents. But then our pasta dough hit the floor at the very end. Oh well -- five-second rule. Still good.   I was watching those old Vahki animations today, and realized how V for Vendetta-government-ish they sounded. "Thoughts can be dangerous"; "Obedience is happiness"; "Turaga Dume sees all"; "A busy Matoran is a happy Mat

Scratches... Thumping...

Went to bed for the first night in that game Scratches. Was woken up by a noise at midnight. Wasn't scratching... yet. It's a thumping. I figure it could be one of three things: Someone/thing is knocking on a door somewhere (the house has like eighteen). Someone/thing is running around the halls somewhere. Someone/thing is hammering somewhere. I figure it's not running around, because it doesn't sound like it's moving -- it's consistent. I can't tell if it's above, below, or on the same level

It Lives!

Yes, I am alive. Sorry for lack of blogness -- I can't even remember why, other than server dying on me.   Art class has been... interesting, to say the least. But History's been interesting; doing stuff on the infamous Kennedy assassination. Single Bullet Theory? Possibly, but I doubt it (I have evidence). Oswald the only gunman? I HIGHLY doubt it. Proof is probably too morbid to post here on BZP, though.   Oh, and a great big thanks to Lady K for volunteering to make a new ED banner. Others

Calling Artists!

As of tonight, Part II of Eternal Darkness is finished being written, printed, paper clipped and in my story folder. The name?   Eternal Darkness: What Makes a Hero   It actually took a good while to think up that title.   Now, artists, I think my banner for the epic needs a makeover. Love the one I have, but a new story must come with new art! So, if you're up to it, give it a shot! I'll use whichever one I like the best. The requirements are simple: all it needs is the words "Eternal Darkne

Friday Of Doom!

OMG!! IT'S FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH!!! TO THE BOMB SHELTERS!!!   But I don't really believe in this bad luck stuff. I believe that there's something weird with the number thirteen, but not Friday the Thirteenth. And today proved it!   I have never liked my chemistry class. Not so much the class itself, more the teacher. She has no idea how to teach. But today was different. Since we're doing chemical reactions, we used graham crackers, marshmallows and Hershey bars to make s'mores as an example.

Mahri Rant #2

I've been meaning to post this since we found the instrucitons, but a whole lot else has hindered my amount of time.   Anyway -- upon seeing the building instructions for the Toa Mahri, I've noticed comments praising them. I knew this would happen. Just like Umbra, just like the Inika, probably going to be just like Gadunka: people despise them, then they love the EXACT SAME THING, WHERE NOTHING HAS CHANGED, once Lego simply shifts their poses.   I, however, remain adamant and am still unimpre

Happy Easter Bzp!

I almost walked into a podium at church today.   Does not make for a good first impression in front of many new people at the church today.

Fresh Meat

I dunno if I told you guys, but last June our priest moved north and we started getting supply priests each month (sadly, a few very good friends went with him). Starting last month, we now have a "permanent supply priest". Basically, we're unsure if he'll stay with us forever, but we know he'll be with us a good while.   Anyways, a few families traveled with him to our church. One consists of four kids. I have no idea how old they are, but they're not too much younger than me. But tonight, for

Mata Nui will die!   At least temporarily. Otherwise, why would Greg answer those recent Nuva rerelease questions as "They eventually will be. After all, Mata Nui can't save himself."?   But yeah. This puts "You were not the first Toa!" to shame.

I Is Alive!

Sorry for the lack of blogging. Mainly it was because I got God of War II on Saturday and have been playing nonstop. I beat it on Monday, though -- GREAT GAME. Plus, they got Michael Clarke Duncan to do the voice of the titan Atlas! I can wait for the third one (and trust me, with an ending like that, a third game is inevitable).   But the last couple days have been tough because the server was insane (probably people flipping out about the April Fool's joke). So yeah.   SPRING BREAK!!! Althou

What Lurks In The Dark

^ That is the name of the newest chapter I wrote today -- has the Toa Nuva and Krakua. Oh yes, I'm very proud of it. And in this chapter, I've proven that Takanuva isn't the only Toa who can blind others with immense light. And no, I don't mean Tahu (although he give a helping hand in the process). But lemme tell ya -- what the chapter title refers to is immensely fun to write about.   The Karzahni set. I LOVE him. The dark green and lime green mix on the Carapar armor is awesome. And nice use

My Legs!

Sorry for a lack of blog... ness. It's been a really weird week. First, my brother left for Disney World in Orlando, Florida for the Senior trip. So I've had the whole week to myself! Yee!   Anyways, that same day (Tuesday) I ran the mile in gym class. Didn't do too bad, considering how out of shape I am -- 5:49. But yesterday and today my thighs have cramped up and are KILLING me. I can't go any lower than bending over; proves to be difficult when getting books from the bottom of my locker. &g

Woo!

Ah, it felt so good to write again! But I think Greg's getting to me -- I actually threw something in that I barely know about, just to see if/what I can come up with.   But great thing about this chapter is, now Takua, Jaller and Hahli have an actual goal/mission, rather than half-aimlessly wandering around. What is that goal/mission, you ask?   Yay for krana hunting (that's the biggest hint you're gettin')!

Finally!

After much Writer's Block, I finally have an idea for the next chapter of ED. I write tomorrow!   Oh, and once again, happy birfday, ToM!
