Anyways, the stupid sunlight killed the night and woke me up. Ragh. I like it when it's dark out and I can see the moon clearly... Brings back memories.

My school day was moderately okay, the academics were a little dull/irritating but in French we had a test (which I liked better than lots of work, and I think I did well on it), in my music class, the normal teacher was absent so we had a sub and watched a movie about jazz, and we stopped when the bell rang, right before they got to talking about Professor Longhair, one of my favorite musicians ever. Back from school. I lost in the Geo bee, but I did put up a good effort. An eighth grader won in the end. Ah well, I wasn't a jittery bundle of nerves. My day went 'okay', but keep in mind this is my definition, which is a depressing one. Hoo-ray for cynicism.

I'm one of the contestants in my school's Geography Bee today, I got the highest score on my team when we all took a geography quiz, which was sort of testing to see who was 'smart', geography wise. I guess reading so much pays off, when most of my classmates have stupider thoughts on their minds. "Stupider" is a word, right? Because I don't think "more stupid" is grammatically correct. Anyways, wish me luck. I'm betting I might be a nervous wreck, but I'll take that chance. Hoo-ray.

Yeah, it's raining, and DQ, no, I don't live in New York, it's Massachusetts. I actually kind of like it when it rains, it gives me a lot of good ideas and makes me the only person even a bit satisfied with their day, coz everybody else doesn't like the rain. Yippee.

Turned out the birthday party I was going to go to was actually a sleepover, up at my friend's other house in New Hampshire. So we played a lot of video games, and had fun. I enjoyed playing Super Smash Bros Melee the best, but it was the only game I played (Or knew how to play) so I can't really judge. We stayed up super late. I had a bagel for breakfast, then my dad took me to a car dealership coz he's getting an Accura, and he was talking with the sales guy. Then we went to Borders and I got two new CDs, although they're old, I got System of a Down's 'Steal this album!' and Disturbed's 'Sickness'. I also got a gift card as a birthday present for my friend. Then I came back home. Right now I'm listening to my new System of a Down CD, and I'm listening to the song 'Boom!'.
Hurrah. Nice to have some time free on my hands, even if it's just a weekend.

I'm sitting here, blogging right before bed, and wondering what to put in...
I haven't mentioned I like the GBA game Yoshi's Island, have I? I play it a lot, believe me, I've had it for a while. I've beaten the game and right now my goal is getting higher scores on some levels. It's fun. One of my most played games along with Metroid Fusion and Pokemon Ruby.
Boy my day was hectic. School was a mix of sensations, a large amount unpleasant, but at least I didn't spill a drink on my pants or fall down a forty-story flight of stairs face first. So in comparison to what could have happened, what did happen was bad but it was still 'okay' in the 'so stressful I want to bang my head against the wall but maybe not' way.
