So, as you may or may not know, there is going to be a LEGO Store opening at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ. I'm not sure exactly when yet, but it's opening. I find this funny, because there used to be a store nearby in the Paramus Park Mall and another about an hour west at the Rockaway Townsquare Mall. The 'Super Chapter Book' Raid on Vulcanus was released. I hear it's longer than the older books, but since there are fewer books this year, that's a small consolation for story fans.

So, in the past week we had some cool coverage of the opening of a new LEGO Store, courtesy of ferrariguy90. One of the story serials received an update. We also discovered some Summer 2009 set descriptions thanks to Gatanui.
Word on the street is that the Summer sets from other LEGO lines have been showing up in stores, so it's only a mat
So tonight I finally sorted through all the pieces Kelly (Binkmeister) gave me at BrickFest this year. These are all for contest prizes and other giveaways we'll be doing in the future.
Sorting is not something I do much of these days, especially with so many pieces, so it was a pretty interesting time.

So I bought some awesome posters back in January, but between the plaster walls of my apartment, the sticky tack, and the weight of the posters, they wouldn't stay up. So I had to put up hooks and put wire on the posters and all this other stuff to get them hung, and by that time classes had started and I was way too busy to actually do it. James Gurney is a skilled and talented writer and artist, and his fictional world of man and sauropod living in (near) peace and (almost) harmony was very rich. I've been lacking motivation lately, the ever-growing pile of work (including BrickFest coverage) is quite disheartening. It makes me want to procrastinate even more. It's not a good cycle to be caught in.

Well, we were offline last Friday so there was no update then. But we're back now! So let's see what we have.

First up, the forums were offline, but now they're back. I apologize once again for the downtime and the data loss. We did the best we could, and hope now to be better prepared for the future. We're already quite recovered though, thanks to the hard work of all our members and staff.
