Yannick (ToM Dracone) came to visit this weekend for ToyFair. Last night we got some Chinese food for dinner. As is customary, at the end of our meal we each got a fortune cookie. I opened mine up and started laughing. It said:
How much more dead on could they get?
Then Yannick cracked his open, and it said the exact same thing. It was rather disappointing, but still pretty funny.

I am here to enlighten and elucidate you all on this week's happenings, or some such thing like that. Really my goal is to bore you to the point where the rest of BZPower, in its boring-ness, seems fun and exciting. That may be a lie.
Updates
As I mentioned last week, the seventh episode of the BZPowercast was released. In our longest episode yet, we rant and rave for almost an hour - and that's after I edited things down. (People may tell you I took out the 'good stuff,' but trust me

To keep the theme going, I could be playing Mass Effect 2 right now! But instead I'm updating you on my usual weekly basis.

It's been a pretty slow week these past seven days, with nothing I could consider 'eventful' happening in the Bionicle news world.
But hey! I finally promoted some people! Congrats to Darth Vader, Iruini Nuva, Nukaya, Spink, and Senjo! I have every faith that they'll do a great job, otherwise I wouldn't have promoted them.
I guess this is the calm b

I could be playing Dragon Age: Origins right now, but instead I'm typing this for you guys. The things I do for this site!

For those of you with deep pockets, you can go check out eBay and place your bid on a solid gold Hau from 2001. It's a truly amazing piece of work if you can afford it. I wish I could.
A new podcast went up on BionicleStory.com, Sahmad's Tale. It's good to see some new content covering some different aspects of the storyline.

I could have watched Doctor Who all night, but I figured you guys were probably looking forward to a Weekly Update. Or if you weren't looking forward to it, you were at least expecting it to appear so you could laugh at it behind my back.

I wish something exciting had happened this week. Oh well.
BZPower received exclusive permission to host Glatorian Arena 3 on our site. Big thanks to Kelly (Binkmeister) for hooking us up, even though we all know he hates us Mac users. I k

I hope you're all enjoying 2010. Personally I think it's a little cold, even with all this global warming. Anyway, let's see what we have on tap.

As we hinted at in our recent episode of the BZPowercast, we kicked off a prototype giveaway earlier this week. It's not too late to enter the Twelve Days of BZPower. Twelve lucky members will be selected to win some awesome prototype pieces - will you be one of them?
Continuing our reviews of the 2010, ToM Dracone shared his thou

Another holiday, and another Weekly Update. It's been a quick week with the holidays, but stuff's still been going on.

Another review went up this week, this time it was the Rahkshi, looked at by Shannara. Not many sets left, unfortunately. But keep checking for more.
Speaking of 2010 sets, we posted a reminder about our Leaked Image Policy. To make sure it's clear, this applies to all LEGO 2010 Summer sets. You cannot post pictures, link to pictures, or discuss pictures (o
Hey guys, I may be appearing on LAMLradio again soon to discuss Bionicle stuff, and I want to know what YOU think were the best Bionicle MOCs of 2009. So post your suggestions in the comments - we really want to hear from you!

Merry Christmas everybody! Yes, I'm doing an update today, but not too long.

So we continued our 2010 set reviews last weekend with a Skrall review by Sisen. Hopefully we'll have another this weekend sometime. No promises though.
Speaking of the Stars, a new commercial has been appearing on TV. If you know where to look, you can find it online. But please do not bypass the filter in order to link to it.

Only a week until Christmas! Wait, does that mean I have to do a Weekly Update ON Christmas? Oh bother...

After the slowness of last week things have picked up on the Bionicle front!
In addition to the awesome poster from last week, some new 2010 content has appeared on Bionicle.com. Soon though, it'll all be gone to make way for the overhauled version of next year's site!
This past week has also seen some 2010 set reviews. Smeagol4 looked at Tahu while Darth Vader share
So last night I finished World War Z. It was a great story, much more about people than it was about zombies. I'd consider it fairly mature though, so don't give it a read if you can't handle violence and other graphic content. If that sounds like something you're ok with though, by all means check it out - it was very gripping and emotional.
The issue now is what should I read next. I have a whole bunch of books queued up that I want to read or reread, but there's no real priority assigned t

So the biggest news of the week is that we finally got our review of The Legend Reborn posted. Go check it out.
Ok, so maybe that wasn't quite true.
The Bionicle line of sets has been canceled. I actually have a lot to say on the subject, and when I have time you'll all get to see it on the front page. Being an Admin has its perks like that. I will say this: some peo

Back this week with a little bit more time to do this thing. Let's see what I can come up with.

You may or may not have noticed, but with all the staff changes recently, we decided it was time to do an overhaul of the staff forum assignments. I think things are distributed more evenly now, and every forum should have sufficient coverage. I'm hoping we don't have to do that again for a while.
So we are doing stuff, just very slowly. Bear with us.
In other news, LEGO has n
So BrickFair came out with a new webpage layout today, and it's pretty snazzy.
'But Black Six, why should I care?' you ask.
Well, if you go look at it, you'll see they have some pictures from previous BrickFairs that cycle through showing just how awesome the event is. Here are two of those pictures:

Not much has happened this week. As some have pointed out, even our front page has been rather devoid of news relating specifically to Bionicle. I guess this is just the lull before the 2010 storm.
If you haven't already, make you go fill out LEGO's survey - they want to hear from you!

I'm in the Comfort Inn on Leesburg Pike in Vienna, VA right now, within walking distance of the Sheraton Premier at Tyson's Corner where BrickFair has taken place for the past two years. So many good memories of this area and it's making me miss you all.
I'll see you all at the new venue next year!
So I don't like macadamia nuts - what are you gonna do about it, fight me?

The most recent episode of the BZPowercast went up last week. Check it out and listen to us ramble. Feedback is always welcome.
I'm going to remind you about our recent promotions. The reason there hasn't been much going on this week is because I've been busy finding forums for them and rearranging staff after all the recent changes.
