So last night I went to the Gamestop Nintendo sponsered Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament.
I was the first battler in the first match. Sadly, I did not know we would have random characters. And that my luck sucked.
I was stuck with Dedede. The SLOWEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME. Needless to say, I lost, even with my short amount of practice. I needed those Dragoon Parts.

So a friend and I went to Gamestop today, and at 1:00 PM they had a Melee Tournament. We each entered. We both lost in the first match.
I got destroyed in the first match, I had a bloody Falco chasing me the entire match, which sucked. So I lost bad, I ain't gonna lie about that.
Afterwards we went to Culver's, then to Best Buy.

And don't think for a second I haven't forgot about the Smash Factor, it won't be ending now that the game is out. I have a few fun Smash Factor entries planned for when it does come out. I'm sure a lot of people, even those who don't have the game will have fun with it.

This is a true story from just this week, about two fellow Wal-Mart associates.
At my Wal-mart one of our door greeters is, really old (in her 70s or 80s), and she was working Sunday. We shall call her G. Well G was supposed to work Tuesday and never showed up, she was a no-call, no-show. One of the Customer Service Managers (CSM) knew something wasn't right. It just isn't like G to do such a thing. So the CSM, whom we will call L, decided to get G's address.

Yesterday when I was at work we got some more shipments of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and we got the guide for the game in too... my department manager and I took a look at the box art. I held a copy in my hands... held a copy of one of the most anticipated games of all time... and I couldn't do a thing about it. It's torture! These next hours are gonna be so slow. SLOW.

It was announced today that one one of Football's greatest Quarterbacks has decided to retire. The great #4, Brett Favre, has had a great career with the Green Bay Packers.
It is sad to see a great athlete such as Favre go. Honestly, I thought he would return...

Now then, I've been working on this entry for awhile... and there is a reason I am posting it today. Today is the birthday of a long time friend of mine. (Not CzaR, he is a friend but I found out his birthday was today only yesterday.) Thus this was posted on February 22nd, 2008.
Long ago, I had a good friend, Chaz, however I had to move. Thus we sadly lost contact, however about a year ago I managed to get his IM, so now we can still chat in every once in awhile. Which makes me quite happy.
Today I'm doing something different. Fiction! Mostly fiction... the customer was real... and was actually on the phone... and this happened a few days ago.

So today I went and preordered Super Smash Bros. Brawl. And by preordered I mean fully paid off.
Not only that, I am signed up for a Brawl Tournament, which will take place on the 8th of March, then midnight release party.
I was talking to the Gamestop employee about promotional items in a conversation, and it came up that I don't have the Collectors Coin from the Super Mario Galaxy launch. This guy was so awesome he went and got me one. Needless to say it made me happy.

Yesterday I was stuck in Jewelry for part of the day. And it wasn't doing easy things, like watch batteries. It was crazy things that I knew nothing about. Management had to help.

Everything in my general area is closed today due to the insane amount of snow we are getting. It'll be like a foot of snow. What is more interesting is we are now facing salt shortages, in Wisconsin... in the winter. So yeah we are getting more snow than I want.
Of course Wal-Mart is open. I just hope people don't drive in this non-stop snow.
