World's Hardest Puzzle

-Toa Lhikevikk-

A friend of mine made this and told me to post it in my blog. Well I wouldn't call it the world's hardest, as I figured it out in a few minutes -- (or did I? ;)), along with the math trick behind it.

HINT: It's actually-- [gets sucked into black hole]

EDIT: For the record guys, I just noticed that his handwriting is kinda vague so the numbers of steps required is SIX, no more, no less.

are you allowed to cross onto different lines from where they cross (if you imagine it is 2d) if you can i found 4 different paths for it

Nope. My friend explicitly told me that.

Right, in that case NO IDEA.

Ah. Okay. Got it now. It's really funny once you figure it out. :P

There's nothing to figure out. It's impossible. :P

Nevermind; I didn't figure it out. I rechecked and I was going from Point B to Point B. :P

EDIT: Just figured out the actual way. Which isn't as funny as what I did before.

What would a 'step' be defined as?

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. The answer is actually quite simple; it just involves a slightly different method of thinking than what most people are used to using when solving puzzles.

It's impossible, though. The only way to win is '2D style'.

I solved it in 3D style, and believe me, it's very much possible. I'll give you a hint: Loopholes are your friends...

Is it okay to go back onto a path you've already taken, such as reversing at a corner and going back along the edge whence you came?

Dude, it's impossible. You can't get there on an even number. :P

Just post how you did it, OK?

No, but I don't think it makes a difference -- according to my Mathematics Bureau, doing so means the path is still impossible. Unless you do it on the first line -- I think the puzzle might actually be solvable that way!
