A lot of the love is genuine. To me the popularity feels flavor-of-the-weekish, but the show is definitely very, very good and worth the watch.

It's still running, even if I don't watch it, the fandom keeps us up-to-date, unkowlingly. XD

It's still running but there are only 2-3 more episodes left in this season.

And yes it is a very good show.

I watched the first four or five episodes, and while it is a well made show (with some truly great reaction shots), I don't see what all the fuss is about.

I have absolutely no idea whether it would be your sort of thing. It certainly isn't mine, but I've been told by many sources that my taste in everything is awful.

Whether this has any bearing on, say, the actual quality of Monty Python, or if it merely points out that my taste in personal critics is awful, is anyone's guess.

It's not everybody's cup of tea, but if you go into it with an open mind you may find you enjoy it. It's nothing particularly special; there's no amazing story and the characters are rather atypical, but it just has a certain charm. It's cute, and entertaining.

The two-part pilot is lame and a few episodes after that are just average, but it gets better as the series progresses.
