If said RPG is the BZPRPG, that makes that dark figure me. :3

:kaukau: Calculus. Love.

Yeah. Fun.

:kaukau: Okay, I was actually being serious. Why am I under the impression that your reply was sarcastic? In all honesty, my #1 inspiration for romantic flirting from from Russel Crowe's John Nash in A Beautiful Mind. What's more romantic than a man who can see things as they are, in terms of the mathematical reality they inhabit? It makes the language of communication so clear. It's far better than the tangled, non-universal language of common romance where everything mixes together without rules and without order, and everything is so subjective. That goes for communication outside of romance, too, obviously, but it should especially apply to romance, which it for truly deep exploration of our shared reality.

On another note, I find it interesting that you use the delta for "change". When I took Calculus and Calc II, both my teachers used a lowercase d instead to indicate derivative. No matter, they both make sense. This just makes me wonder if you are working on this within the context of a physics problem, in which deltas turned up more often. As well as other Greek symbols,

Haha, nice. ^^ I swear, that is basically everyday life for me, lol.

Actually only semi-sarcastic. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a good mathematical problem, but over the past few weeks, it's just been so much it's actually benn too much. Heck, I even dreamed about that stuff last night. ><

As for the delta thingie... don't ask me, I took it from my notes... ahem, no, actually I do know where the delta is coming from, but it would take quite a while to explain and no, it wasn't from a physics problem, but we kinda derived the formula from a sketch, and tehre we had a delta x and why am I still typing I hope you get the idea because you seem to know what we're talking about anyway... D:

Oh, and greek symbols are evil. Especially ξ

Replace mathymagics with drawing, and you have me. :P

Wait, whaat? xD

Did I just almost read an attempted serious discussion of mathematical terminology and symbols in the comments section of a comic about distraction?

... I think so.

(This seems rather relatable. Only replace the RPG's with everything that isn't what I'm meant to be doing. :P)

Yeeaaah, I would have included more stuff, but the panel was too small for it *excuse*

I think Distraction just got me, that's why I'm here :P

Oh, you too? xD

Looks to me like you're doing some sort of volume of a shape with a proportionality constant of pi...

And yes, that is definitely what happens to me a lot. =P
