Is having a in-blog contest fine? with official prizes?

Yes, many people have had contests in their blogs, so it is fine.

Would changing the words of someone else's comment just as a joke by allowed or not? I've seen some blog owners do that.

It is within the blog owners rights to change the comments of whoever posts. So it is fine, unless they change it to something offensive or inappropriate.

One question:

Is it okay to put comics in blogs?

Yes - that'd be fine.

Idea: A Community-Blog-wide contest requiring bloggers to revamp their blog after a certain theme or style.

Like a BBC or Art contest, only for blogs. Savvy?

That would be cool...

Wait, I just re-read the blog RPG rules and I noticed something, unnaproved RPGs it mentions, what if we have approval? Like if we had an old one, it died from age, etc., but repost it in the blog? I doubt that since I think we'd need approval again, but in another case, what if we have approval and just don't post it in CoT?

There are to be no RPGs in the blogs. It'd be inconvenient to be approving RPGs in both the blogs and the two forums (COT & RPG), so the decision was made to just keep the RPGs in the forums where they always have been.

No, I mean if you had a CoT RPG approved could you put it in the blog? I mean neither count for posts and in a blog you have more control than a topic. I'm just wondering on that.

Um… I've seen a couple of times when I've posted an entry, then someone else has posted an entry right after me, but when I come back later there's an entry between the two. Neither entry was "bumped". Is there anything that would cause this?

Drafted entries can be published without changing the posted time by going through the entry itself and changing the status via the dropdown. If the publish button is pressed instead, it will change an entry to the current time.

I have a question; is there a limit on how many entries you can post a day? I just need some clarification...

There's no limit.

A question: I know I can't post entries after I'm not Premier (or after the end of BZP's anniversary week), but can I still edit content blocks and such?

As far as I know, it is impossible to edit your content blocks when your Premier Membership expires.

Actually, it is possible. Not sure on the rules though. Hope it's okay, as I've done it. >_>

Lol, alright. Never tested it myself.

So you can edit content blocks but not actual make an entry?

I've just tried, and it's not possible for me to do it. If, however, non-Premier regular members can still edit any existing content blocks, then I see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to: they don't bump the blog to the top of the page like making a new entry (or drafting and re-publishing an existing one) would, and it's also very hard for bloggies to tell when you've done it. However, it wouldn't be a good idea to try to bypass the inabily to use their blog by putting 'entries' in their content blocks, as if they were blogs.

Of course, one of the other bloggies or Makaru may have seen something I've missed.

Why do my settings say that people can't comment on my blog? I want them to be able to comment on my blog, and I was wondering why the "board administrator" says that they can't.

Members are able comment on your blog; it's only guests who can't.

Allow guests to post comments in your Blog?

The board administrator has disabled Guest commenting.

I have a question. I didn't see in the FAQ.

Can we lock and entry and open it again? I just want to know, because I'm going to lock and entry I don't need now, but that I might later.

That's fine, as long as you're the one who locked it.
