I Have To Get This Off My Chest..

Hero Factory is one of the stupidest things ever. Lego decides to replace Bionicle for no reason, and then replace it with the same thing, but with cra**y names.I mean Dunkan Bulk? What the heck does that mean? And they make a TV show out of it too. Why would it have been so hard to do that with Bionicle? D=<

Cause it would have been horribly cheesy, moreso than the movies, and then you'd all be complaining about that. =/

Duncan Bulk? Duncan is a name, and Bulk refers to the level of armoring he has.

Tell me, what does Matoro mean? Ahkmou?

At least they are not mixing human names with things. I think Matoro sounds better than Duncan Bulk.

I know! Human names!? WTK?!?! NATALIE BREEZE?? WHAT IS THAT?!

Really, Bionicle names are just awesome. I mean, look at Pokemon's names too(Turtwig, Pikachu, Pachirisu) They have names that were made up.

As for a Bionicle TV show, I mentioned that to Greg awhile back (2008?) to do the Inika since they didnt have a movie for them and he just said no. A show wouldve been great!

And they just replaced Bionicle to start something new

What does anyone's name mean?

I'm not taking sides because I like both themes, but seriously. Asking what Dunkan Bulk means, is like asking what your own name means. Technically it's not a bad question, but calling their names stupid essentially calls either your own name, a friends name, or someone you haven't met but could meet stupid.

Get what I mean?

Stuff doesn't need complex made up names to be great... Harry Potter did it fine; all TV shows set in modern day earth pull it off great; even other LEGO themes use 'human names'. Like LEGO's last non-Bionicle movie. =P Sure, it was a little different, as I'm not sure of there being anyone named 'Clutch'; but still.

And if you don't like the first names, just do like LEGO does, and only use the last names. Like Stormer.

Brawl: lemme guess; you don't like that name either? =P

The point is; this isn't Bionicle, this isn't set in the Bionicle universe, it doesn't have to conform to 'make up a brand new name no-one else has for it to be used'.

It also allows them, AFAIK, to not have to have a bunch of legal approved names.

I get the feeling that once the HF TV show is out, BZP will criticize it with the same reasons that gave for TLR, and then say a BINOCILE show would be better. :P

What does Brickeens mean?

Brickeens is a small Farming community in Longford, Ireland. When translated from its original Irish name it means "home of the badger." It is about 2.5 miles from Kengh Village and about five miles from Longford Town.

K:

Brawl and Megatron are Transformers. In the first Transformers movie, Megatron looks like he has a beak when transformed into vehicle mode. And I had just got Brawl/Megatron Transformer figures, so I modeled my name after them. :)

But Megatron doesn't actually have a beak, so yours is merely based on fanciful thinking; and therefore doesn't mean anything. :)

Mine has a Wikipedia article to Back it up. I searched yours but I didn't come with any results.
