Something I didn't mention in my last entry: my blog got no comments during my absence. Maybe one day I'll get comments on something other than grammatical errors.

Right. So, my first full-length blog entry. And it will be about school. For, indeed, today was my first day back to school after a relaxing, highly enjoyable winter break. Let me acquaint you with my schedule:
My day is divided into eight fifty-minute periods, with six-minute passing periods between them. The very first bell rings at 7:26 a.m. and the last at 3:00
This is an idea that's been floating around in my head for a while, and I'd like to actually implement it. The idea is to create a database of pieces with names for each piece and color. I know there's already something similar out there, but the names are usually long, cumbersome, and involve numbers.
Of course, I can't do this alone, as I don't know many terms. I'll start here with a few pieces, then allow anyone to contribute by voting, adding a piece I forgot, or discussing organization o
I woke up at 6 again this morning. I showered, pulled out my Bionicle parts, and in two hours had a prototype bandersnatch. For those who don't know, a bandersnatch is a quick-moving reptile with and extendable neck. I built it for a contest that ends tomorrow (blog search for bandersnatch, there's only one blog with the word in the title).
My problem this morning is how long the critter's neck should be when extended. Is an extendable neck really a feasible natural tool? Think about it. What

I suppose this still counts as a morning entry, since it's still before noon. I didn't get to post at my usual time because I was running a bit late. This often happens on Thursday mornings. You see, when my sister is at GA's with her friend, she doesn't get home until around 9:00 p.m., which is when we usually go to bed. So on Wednesday nights, I usually end up in bed
Now that I have my own laptop (and, by extension, any-time access to the Internet), I think I'm going to pick my blog back up again. I suppose the best place to start would be with the laptop itself. Yesterday around four-thirty, I headed over to Best Buy with my mom and sister. We were initially going to buy me a wireless mouse. It was an early Christmas gift from my dad. Normally he would have waited until I had something to use it with, but the mouse I wanted, usually $50, was on Black Friday
I'm putting a temporary hold on the MOC depicted in the WIP photos below so I can cobble together an entry for Kylus' ORGANIZED Blog Contest #1, which entails building a Toa of Psionics. So far I haven't had any really brilliant ideas, but I have pulled out all of my pearl gold pieces (I know Kylus says we can use Keetorange, but I'll be darned if I'm taking the easy way out).

I hate missing school. This morning at around 1 a.m., I vomited. Then I vomited again at 4 a.m. I've had diarrhea and a headache for two days. My mother and grandmother convinced me to stay home. I e-mailed all of my teachers and my mom called the attendance line to let the school know I wasn't going to be there.

This morning, I had what might be referrred to as an unsettling experience. First, some background information:

Meeting Queen again was fun. We don't have too much in common anymore, save that we're both smart. After the movie, we all relocated to Barnes & Noble, then to Panera Bread for lunch (I love Panera).
