Yeah, I decided it was stupid and stopped about a year or two ago.

I'd personally never say it, but it's to be expected on a Bionicle site, so I have no problem with it. Plus, the real-life alternative is filtered.

Not much sillier than calling the main survivor cast of Lost "losties" I guess.

I totally find it fitting both on this fansite and in my fanfiction. Although the idea behind it is not the most pleasant, sure...

That is also incredibly silly. But not quite as contrived.

I've wanted to go back and remove all the instances that I used "what the Karzahni" from my comics for ages now. I'm not sure if I actually used it as much as I remember, but it seems like it was used a lot. Actually doing so would require effort, though, and most of the comics in question ranged from half-decent to terrible anyway.

 

"Karz" is much worse, though.

I am completely ambivalent on this matter. It doesn't get under my skin, but at the same time it sounds rather dumb and I'd never say it myself.

Using slang from any media like that drives me nuts, because it's silly. But as often as our members here do those silly things, like using the above phrase, Firefly fans are so much worse.
