    Ask Lan: To your knowledge, are your ancestors Gaelic in origin, or were they pre-Gaelic peoples that were assimilated by the Gaels when they arrived in Ireland/Hibernia?

      All I know is that my family came from Ireland. I haven't done that much research on it, but I plan to in the hopefully near future.
