  1. IC: (Carrion) A few moments later the group entered the infirmary. Carrion motioned to Fang, gesturing for Hoto to give him her surprise. "Found him."
  2. IC: (Carrion) "Hi there, I'm Carrion Proper-" the tie-dye Rahkshi stepped into Fang's view, "-I was just helping your blind friend find you. She has a surprise for ya, she just ran back to the infirmary to grab it."
  3. IC: (Carrion) "Great, you go get the surprise, I'll get your buddy," Carrion said with a smile, continuing down the hall. "Fang?" the Rahk began calling out, "are you there?"
  4. IC: (Viera) "That was for me you dick."
  5. OOC: Going to invent a few details just so we'll have singing to go off of, but nothing beyond what would have naturally occur. IC: (Damek) The Matoran reached up to give Nariya a friendly pat on the hand, signaling that everything was alright. "Don't worry ma'am, we'll have this figured out in no time." With a sigh, Damek rounded the corner into the alleyway. What he saw wasn't quite what he had expected- the killer had evidently made some sick effigy of his victim on a canvas above the corpse. As more guards flooded the alleyway and the crime scene was roped off, Damek slid on a pair of plastic gloves and began examining the corpse. "Hmm... Three stab wounds, covered with iron... The killer likely has elemental powers over iron," he concluded. But why would he cover the wounds? Did it have something to do with his twisted 'artist' MO? Perhaps to stop the blood? Hmm... "Did you see the killer running from the scene?" he asked Nariya, "this paint is still wet, he can't have gotten far."
  6. IC: (Damek) "Yes! What can I do for you?" Damek said to the shouting Nariya.
  7. Finally, something for Kol to do. Let's go.
  8. IC: (Viera) Viera tossed the shield to her undead corpse to carry. She moved to the other side of the room after shooting Lantz a wave. "Have fun."
  9. IC: (Viera) "Whatever," she said, approaching Noxas and attempting to wrench the shield from his grasp.
  10. IC: (Viera) "Any good slave must have their spirit broken before properly serving," she said with crossed arms, "do as you please."
  11. IC: (Carrion) "Well that's not good," Carrion said in response to hearing of Fang's anger. "Shall we check the courtyard?" OOC: Should we go ahead and have them find each other?
  12. IC: (Veira) Veira smirked at the Matoran's skittishness. "Hmm...perhaps. Tell me what he's good for and I'll take him off your hands for thirty widgets."
  13. OOC: Coming at you Lantz and co. IC: (Veira) The door to Tarkahn's shop seemed to revolve as one after one, Noxas, Lantz, and then immediately after them Veira and her gruesome undead follower filed into the sword shop. "Shopkeeper?" she said, he words covering Lantz's as he oppressed Noxas, "yes, I'd like to purchase a rapier, do you have any of those?" As she watched Lantz push Noxas around, she lifted an eyebrow. "Well geez, just because this town belongs to Makuta-followers doesn't mean you have to friggin' act like him." She waved a hand and the zombie following her went to separate the two before Noxas wet himself.
  14. IC: (Iiasmir/Veira) The large Skakdi finally got a chance to stretch his legs as he neared the Koro, stopping his Kikalano steed about a bio away from the city limits to investigate the changes. Pulling out a telescope, he examined the various differences, from the gates to the towers. Crown jewel my ###... It had been the better part of two years since he had conducted business in Ko-Koro, but he remembered it fondly. It was quite easy to get around, even for a massive Skakdi like himself. The citizens, though they were very stiff and awkward, paid very well for the goods he offered. With any luck, the newcomers would make better company. Speaking of company- "H-help..." Sliding his telescope back into his travel bag, Iiasmir whipped around and locked eyes with the speaker. "Well well well, what do we have here." Iiasmir was looking into the eyes of a Toa of ice who looked as though he had been surviving on whatever he could gather in the wild and whatever he'd had on him. Presumably, he'd escaped the occasion of the city but been too wounded or too lacking in supplies to make it to the next Koro. "Well strike me dead," Iiasmir said in mock delight, "a real life, honest to goodness Sanctum Guard. Just how might I help you, my man?" The guard was either remarkably gullible or too desperate to care. "Please, just get my out of here," he gasped, "I don't know the way to find my captain. We were fighting against the invaders and-" he seemed to trip over himself, cowering against Iiasmir's large form, "Look, I have money, I..I have family in Ihu who can-" "Shh, shh, quiet your yapping. I don't need any of that. Tell you what, I'll let my associate take care of you- Veira!" he summoned, shouting loud enough for her to hear. Out of the fog, atop another Kikalano, a gangly violet form materialised before hopping off the beast and approaching the two. "How can I be of assistance?" she inquired, countenance marked with disdain and a smirk curled on her lips. "Well you see Veira, this man is a Sanctum Guard! Why don't you show him some southern hospitality?" The smirk evolved into a full from. "With pleasure." ---------------------------- The duo became a trio as they marched through the gates of the Koro, with Iiasmir and Veira riding their steeds and the stripped reanimated corpse of the guard trudging on behind them. Iiasmir had wrapped the bloody white cape around his neck in a scarf-like fashion, while Veira had made a hodge-podge of the soldier's armor and weaponry and bore it like a trophy. Anyone who laid eyes on the corpse would likely be at least a little unsettled by the fact that his cranium was visibly shattered and imploded, blood draining from all orifices. His body would be released eventually, but for now there was work to do. Once they were in the city, Iiasmir clapped hands with Veira and the two went their separate ways. "Find an inn, set up shop. I'll meet with you after I find my client." The Toa of gravity nodded and set off to do so, and Iiasmir set out to find Hakann. "Now," he said to himself, "time for business."
  15. IC: (Sucogu) Stealth. Subterfuge. Guerrilla combat. Sucogu was well-versed in these disciplines, and quite capable of completing the job with little obstacle. If anything, this would be mundane compared to several former quests. He'd taken down brutal killers; a little bodyguarding would be exercise. "You have my blade. Before we officiate this, however, might I inspect the contents of your bag in order to take stock of potential prizes? I need not place my hands on any of it, I simply wish to see with my eyes." Indeed, he'd heard of the Polzin family, whose heiress was based near his home town of Ga-Koro. But if his little friend truly had access to such riches would he really be traveling on foot? It was simply good business to have a backup reward plan in mind. ...even if he had to procure said reward by force if it was not willingly given once the job was done.
  16. IC: (Sucogu) At this Sucogu shifted back slightly in his seat, withdrawing physically and mentally. Indeed, Sucogu was a good man- at the very least, he had standards -but he had never stayed a killing blade when the situation called for it. The wizened warrior's thoughts drifted to the cold, cold days when he'd traveled with a group of Toa and been forced to slay his young protege; corruption existed, this could not be denied, and it had to burn where it stood. Sucogu would never hold back from doing so. "I do what I must," he answered gravely, keeping his unfazed eyes locked on Ishi's the whole time. "If my opponent is a danger to others and cannot be otherwise incapacitated, I give you my word that he will fall and never rise again."
  17. IC: (Carrion) The Rahkshi's head tilted sideways, not recognizing the name. "Never heard of him. Can you tell me a bit about him?"
  18. IC: (Carrion) "Duly noted." Carrion started down the hallway, eyes peeled for an injured Rahkshi. "Now what'd you say his name was?"
  19. To those with characters in prison: worry not. Help is on the way.
  20. IC: (Carrion) "Why, no, I haven't. But I'd be happy to help you look," Carrion smiled and nodded at the idea of Hoto surprising her friend. "How pleasant."
  21. IC: (Carrion) "I'll help you find your friend- my name is Carrion Proper," the Rahkshi introduced, giving a polite nod, "and you are?"
  22. IC: (Kyoshi) Long nights of training had toughened Kyoshi, and she had no qualms with simply absorbing the first jab in order to give her enough time to open her fist into a grab and catch the second, venturing to yank her opponent forward and aiming to swing a backhand into Higashi's jaw.
  23. OOC: I'll take you up on that, Click. IC: (Carrion Proper) Deftly sweeping through the halls with the sound of a clanking chain, Carrion could not help but notice a fellow Rahkshi who clicked as she moved and stood somewhat shorter than wad to be expected of a Rahkshi. She seemed to be searching for something, but it was difficult to tell because her eyes barely moved. Perhaps she was blind? "Excuse me," Carrion stated flatly with a sheepish wave that Hoto couldn't have picked up on, "can I help you find something?"
  24. IC: (Kyoshi) The warrior stepped in, throwing a quick jab at Higashi's neck before coming around with her right hand for a stronger punch.
  25. IC: (Kyoshi) She stabbed her blade into the ground. "Bare hands. No weapons. No outsiders. No masks. Pure ability. Sound fair?"
