  1. IC: "So, we heading in?" Feongulf remarked to Xerov, breaking a the awkward momentary silence. "Or looking for someplace else? Or is the inability to sleep another one of your issues?" If it is, it's one of the less abnormal ones, she thought, staring up into the ash-black clouds, blocking almost all light from the stars. Her mind drifted back to her earlier recollections, the image of her burning home returning to her mental eyes. She quashed the image as soon as it appeared. Really, we have issues between us to give half of Mata Nui sleepless nights.
  2. OOC: I assume that by staying in sight you mean he's following behind him, correct? EDIT. IC: He was being followed, that much was apparent from the footsteps keeping even pace behind him. Who those sounds belonged, whether friend or foe, remained to be seen. He loitered for the briefest of moments, taking in a deep breath as his hand drifted causally to the hilt of his sword. Can't be too careful these days, he thought, pivoting on one foot to face the owner of the feet striking against the wood of the walkway behind him. Morning night reflected from the tin sliver of blade he had pulled from its' sheaf. As he jogged along in search of his men, Kethrye noticed a familiar face among the few beings awake and traversing the streets of the village so early , and not for being on the long list of maniacs and trouble-makers that seemed to be a fact of life recently. No, he had been one of the Fowadi's crew that Kethrye had met last night, or at least one of the dozens of beongs that had suddenly converged on Pala-Koro as they were trying to repair what was left of the village. Not a bad guy, from all he had seen. "Ehm, It's you." he said, nodding and striding over to converse with the Toa of Earth. "Kehuri, isn't it? We met yesterday, correct?"
  3. ^^ Yeah, That's what I would assume. None of them are as potentially rule-breaking then some of the other custom things that have been approved. Certainly more true to the spirit of early Bionicle then Transformers-rip-offs or such. *Cough cough* ^ I believe he has, yes.
  4. The Barraki's species, I believe. Not what you're probably thinking, thankfully.
  5. Didn't Nuju or Tuch once state that if someone pitched them a really good reason why the Zyglak or Steltians and what have you could and should be a part of the game then they'd approve them like they would a custom species? Or am I misremembering?
  6. IC: Kethrye awoke the morning followed the mad rush to Le-Koro in the leaven-mattress bed that was the sole furnishing of the small inn's room he had rented after stumping out from the meeting the the night before. The Toa of Ice signed, pulling hand up to cover his eyes from the dawn's light that streamed from his room's oval window. Sleep, alluring as it was after the past days trials, had not came easily, not with Aparangi's and Dehkaz's revolutions both handing over him. Makuta was far from the only threat shadowing his homeland and, it seemed, not even the most imminent. Nature disaster, jingoistic zealots, worshipers of dark power beings that appear to be friends plotting in shadows and behind locked doors to undermine all we've worked for. . . he thought, rousing himself and sauntering towards the door, snatching his longsword and its' sheaf from where he had thrown it in a sleep deprived stupor earlier. It has to be brought to an end. But I can't do it alone, he thought, a glint appearing in his eye as he strode down the inn's steps and exited the aerial construction and headed towards to werever the rest of the ILF were gathered. Let's get moving.
  7. Nothing is going on, because no one is posting. Also, could anyone with an active character in the ILF PM me? Let's sort out who's actual still involved or not and whether we'd be better off to just let the group die*. *Metaphorically, 'course.
  8. IC: Kethrye turned his head as head from Kehuri and Naona, watching as Dehkaz exited the small hut, apparently finished interrogating his prisoner. Finally, some form of answers, he thought, arms crossed. Hopefully. You don't say. Kethrye's brow rose in an expression of grim interest, wincing and stepping forward to interject a remark from behind the majority of the gathered guards. "And what might that be, exactly? Don't tell me whatever happened here was only the lackluster beginning of something else. . A declaration of war?"
  9. IC: "I don't think this place's usual clientele is particularly literate," Feongulf replied, grinning sardonically despite her drowsiness. "Still, we'll have time for being smartarse tomorrow. Let's try and get a place to sleep."
  10. IC: " . . .No, don't believe so. Perhaps him and his team are back at the Fowadi, but don't quote me on it." Kethrye replied, frowning beneath his mask and shrugging. "If not, then he's probably on there way here now. Now whether they arrives here soon is another matter. What you need him fo-" His words were cut off by Naona finally speaking. ". . .Er- yeah," he said, eyes shifting to the Po-Toa. "It's what we're here for in the first place, right? And since our captain friend is busy with-" Kethrye rose a hand and indicated where Dehkaz was screaming reasoned, well thought-out compromises into the face of one of the surviving Xa-Koroins. "-Business. Might as well do it."
  11. IC: "Tell me about it," Kethrye replied, waling across the former battlefield to join the Fowadi's officers.
  12. IC: Suddenly they felt deck beneath them slow to a stop, transforming the frantic, seasickness inducing heaving of the voyage down the riven and cross the lake into a steady bobbling of a ship adrift. Kethrye heard the sound of one of crewman launching the anchor over the side, and soon all forward motion ceased, leaving only a sleight back and forth motion. "Ah, never mind them," Kethyre said, turning from Ril. "It's time," he added, vanishing up to the main deck. Find out the situation from Dehkaz and Naona, saves us time. Time is something I'm always in need of. - - - - "ILF! Ready for battle!" cried the ILF's leader, drawing his longsword from the sheaf bound to his hip, leaping down and landing half-crouched on the solid group several feet from the lake-edge. Taking in a breath, he looked up towards where the smoke curled up from Le-Koro, breaking into a run in its' direction. The others would follow he know, hopefully. Now, it begins.
  13. IC: "Hey! I don't know about you, but I can't exactly afford the Turaga suit," Feogulf replied in bitter jest. She shifted her cloak to better disguise the parasite bonded to her back. "And if this dumb is charging full price then they we'll just extort a night out of them, a reaction they've probably had before."
  14. IC: "Yeah," came the terse reply. As they trudged through the streets, they came across exactly what they needed; True, it was run-down and the looked as if it's walls had never been washed since the village was build in times before, and was probably invested with vermin, sentient and otherwise. But, Feongulf thought, It's probably also cheap as karz. Which is good. Somehow I doubt either of us is exactly swimming in widgets at the moment.
  15. The dramatic kind, perhaps?I don't really see how it contains a "incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result" or " statements that imply a meaning in opposition to their literal meaning", but we're certainly aware of Ambages's plot OOC most or our character don't, and none have anything more then suspicions at best.
  16. *Finally gets around to watching the trailer* Looks it's basically going to be Star Trek: Wrath of the Iron Dark Knight Rises Man 3: Return of the Lens Flair. And I can live with that.
  17. IC: "Really need to sleep," Feongulf muttered as they stepped through the gates. "We can look for your old friend later."
  18. IC: Kethrye gave Ril an intent stare before cutting into the meat of the matter, gesturing up towards the stairs to the deck. "I need you to go in before us and and access the situation. Kanohi Kualsi, and all that. I really, really don't want to go into this blind."
  19. Reconciling Star Wars with actual science and common sense is a pointless exercise, really.
  20. IC: Kethrye stood on the deck of the Fowadi, the river beating against the ships iron hull as it hurled downstream. The spontaneous disappearance of the Po-Koroin crew off into the forest perplexed him, surely travel by sea was faster then dashing off into the forests? Perhaps he had overestimated the sanity of those who's ship he had commandeered, a common mistake he and Madrihk both seemed to make. Let's hope this ship isn't also strapped full of bombs, he thought, turning from the view the view beyond the last bend of the river they rode washing into the larger body of Lake Kanae. Things can't be that hopeless, even for us. He pulled up the Fowadi's hatch and clamored down below the deck. He Prowled through the corridors, steeling a gaze along it and into each of the cabins he passed by, searching for one being in particular. "Ril? Where the Karz are you? We need to talk. . ."
  21. PMing the people involved usually works. People not noticing your posts is annoying, yeah.
  22. Ah, I remember one of them dying, but not both of them. Aurelia isn't famous IC to my knowledge, is she?
