Notice the colors and elements of each of the four main ninjas in the Ninjago story line are each represented in the cover art and the chorus of the song.

    Here are the lyrics:

    By day we hide,

    By night we come alive.

    In stealth we fight,

To keep the dark from the light.

    We work in the shadows,

    We’re not average day heroes,

    We seek and we find,

    When something’s on the line.

    Fire lights up the sky,

    And thunder roars,

    Lightning electrifies us.

    Clouds pour sheets of ice,

    Onto the earth,

The trees are blanketed with snow.

    Cause’ we’re elemental.

Comments and criticism are appreciated! :)

  2. I want to make Photo comics, but I'm not sure how to get all the photos together like an actual comic strip or put the text over the pictures. Microsoft Word isn't going to be a good way to make comics, after all.

There are a myriad of options, but the programs that come to mind are Microsoft Paint (native to all Windows computers), GIMP and Photshop. You can find a guide to GIMP right here, in the GIMP Help Topic.

As for Paint, it's fairly intuitive. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend learning the basics of Paint before moving on to GIMP or Photoshop.

Photoshop is pretty advanced. It's very similar to GIMP, but with more bells and whistles.

If you check out some of the guides in the GIMP Help Topic I linked to, as well as the ones in this topic, you might be able to get a general idea of how to go about comic making. If you're going to make photo comics, it really just comes down to resizing images in panel format, and then adding text.

Note to everyone: I plan on remaking the guides in this topic, as well as in the GIMP Help Topic in the near future, so stay tuned! :)

  3. This is actually a really inquisitive and interesting idea! I'm not sure if I would personally purchase any of these sorts of sets, but it certainly could give LEGO some business. I think that with the return of Bionicle such a "Legacy" line wouldn't do as well as it would under the circumstance that Bionicle would not be returning. But regardless, I'd love to see some Exo-Force sets get sold again!

  4. Nope. Don't remember. Let us move on.

I will not and will never forget the brave men and women that died that day. 9/11 is part of our American history, and the men and women that died are heroes. Please don't take this for granted, and please don't make dogmatic statements like this during the time when we mourn for the casualties of terror.

  5. Your wording of this makes me doubt your competence.

Hapori Tohu disapproves of this message. Like, seriously, just no.

    ---

I was only two when the attacks occurred, so I don't remember anything. But I've watched videos about 9/11, studied it, etc. It amazes me how horrific it all was. I just have to imagine myself in the same position of thousands of the men and women in the towers. I imagine being petrified. The thought of dying. The thought of family or friends dying. The heavy smoke slowly suffocating. I have a great deal of respect for both the survivors and causalities of 9/11. Those who died died valiantly and with honor for their country. Those who survived showed a great deal of perseverance and determination. Not only did they survive, but many of them saved others, putting their own lives at stake for the lives of others. As a nation, we are indebted to the men and woman who were affected by 9/11. Some were affected in such horrible ways as death, while others watched their comrades fall. But know this: they are the reason we still stand tall. They are the reason we stayed strong in the midst of a terrorist regime. God bless them, and God bless America!

  6. Does premier membership renewal no longer increase proto again?

Renewal still gives you a boost, but the system doesn't automatically boost it immediately after your purchase. Black Six has to do so manually, so you may have to wait a few days. He's super busy, so you may just want to shoot him a PM about it.

  7. Only you can you stop me from questioning what the heck I just read.

Now that's some toasty fire you got there. MMMMMMmmmm.....

I hope you like bio mechanical parts on your toast, and wood, and concrete, and whatever else is in that house. :)

  8. What about if we only have two images in our album, and seven or eight or more in the Bionicle-Based Creations album?

The 2MB of images you can upload in the gallery stack up. The two images in your album count to the 2MB just the same as the seven or eight in the BBC album. The 2MB limit accounts for any image you ever upload to the Gallery.

  9. Well, we have to take into account that Bionicles are bio-mechanical machines:

    1. Mechanical machines require energy to function. They also require an input where energy can be "plugged in," and an output where energy can be utilized. If any of those "input" or "outputs" were to be destroyed, how would energy reach vital mechanical parts of the Bionicle?

Also, while energy cannot be destroyed, it is converted to heat (which is also energy, but that's irrelevant) after being used. This is why batteries do not have infinite power. The same applies for a robot. Bionicles do not have infinite power, and while they can "recharge," so-to-speak, eventually they will run out of energy. Since one could assume that a sort of "motherboard" would centrally run a Bionicle's functions and processes, we could also assume that that very motherboard would eventually lose its electrical conductivity (meaning it would decay). If the electrical conductivity decreases, the capacity for energy storage would also decrease. This runs in correlation with the idea of old age. The older we get, the slower our functions and processes work. Our brain loses processing power (after years of cell loss), the heart beats slower (there isn't enough energy to keep it and every other vital active at the same rate of that of a youth), etc.

Similarly, mechanical parts decay over time. Assuming the laws of thermodynamics apply in the Bionicle universe, the metals that would make up a robotic system would eventually degrade making movement less viable and functions less probable.

When Turaga Lhikan dies in MoL, his heartlight falters, and proceeds to go dead. In that sense, we can assume that vital mechanical parts, as well as biological parts, were badly damaged stopping energy flow throughout his body, and eventually causing his "motherboard" to go dead.

    2. Biologically wise, very similar ideas coincide, especially the idea of decay. Biological organisms only have the energy to live for a set period of time. As vitals become frail, less and less energy is taken in, meaning processes function much slower. Take, for example, a computer. As parts get older, acquire dust, experience damaging conditions, they begin to lose power and conductivity and no longer function at the same speed they initially did. Biological organisms lose power and "conductivity" as they grow older and gradually slow down as well.

  10. Hey, this is actually really nice! The shading is spot on, the pose is striking, the lines are smooth, I could go on. My favorite part is the hands. They're shaped differently than normal, which makes the unique. Personally, I really like them! Great work! =)

  11. I used to listen to "Gravity Hurts" over and over and over again. It was my favorite song, as well as one of my favorite songs in general. Now, I'm not as much a fan of most Bionicle music as I used to be. Although I am a sucker for some the MoL (the movie) music. =P

  12. The better question is whether or not people can answer a serious question (with traces of humor) without making a joke out of it (in a negative way) or making fun of the person asking the question.

As for an answer, I'd have to agree with what others have said: if they do actually ingest any sort of food, mechanical processes within their bodies would probably break down the food into some kind of energy.
