  1. IC:Takamaz walked towards Xodar, his eyes intently focused on a metal sheet of some sort. His eyes were completely oblivious to the busy street around him, full of Onu-Matoran and Ussal Carts bustling about, many carrying various contraptions and pickaxes. The engineer had something in mind for a device that would probably put the Akiru forge on the map, so to speak, in terms of business. As he walked, he used his finger to melt the design into the metal. It should have been no surprise that Takamaz would eventually run into somebody-and eventually, he did. The red-and-gold Toa of FIre ran straight into Xodar, who was likely just as distracted by his observations of the now bustling Onu-Koro. Quickly realizing his mistake, he turned to the Toa of Earth, "Sorry, my apologies! I didn't hurt you, did I?"
  2. Lt. Obvious, I think you might be better off asking whomever controls Oreius what he's waiting on by PM than posting it here, unless you're posting here to ask the rest of the hunting party.
  3. Speaking of the various dive expeditions, what about the other ship, the Dark Angel? Absolutely no activity has been happening on board, much to my frustration.
  4. IC:"Remind me, and next time we'll find another way down-or up." Miraul commented. "Do you want to do some speed training, or combine elements first?" OOC:Just curious, is the Mataraka potentially beneficial to those who open it?
  5. OOC: Chars from Onu. IC: Miraul led the way down the cliffside, slowly climbing down the sandstone face. The rock was smoothed by many sandstorms over the course of eons, and traces of iron gave the rock patched bursts of rust-like red color. Above Miraul was a small outcrop of rock from which the cave emerged. While the route they had taken was not a standard one, Hikari's navigational skills had allowed them to find it. Remembering to ask that question out of curiousity, Miraul slowed down, allowing Axana to take the lead as she grumbled something about,"Stupid desert. Less than ten minutes and I'm already thirsty." As Hikari caught up, Miraul turned his head to the side, and asked her,"Where did you learn to navigate underground?" "Let's not talk about that." Her face was one of clear discomfort. Inside, she remembered fearfully a time long ago. Rey whispered quietly inside her mind. "I know your fear-perhaps even share it. As an Anxillia, I fear that someone could take me, force me to work for them. Thus I am greatful that my power lets me affect the physical world of my own accord. But perhaps you should talk to Miraul, for he is your team leader. Therefore he cares about your well-being. If your fears are gone, that benefits the whole team." Hikari thought back,"I'm not so sure about that." Try it, when you're ready. Miraul and the other Akiru reached the bottom of the cliff. They waited patiently for the other Toa and the Matoran to go down.
  6. OOC: Timeskipping to Po, with permission from Lorax and Zeal. IC:Finishing their meal, Miraul led his guests back towards the forge. He let them spend the night before they took off the next morning. Hikari had come with, leading them through the caves towards Po-Wahi-Miraul never understood where she got her instincts when it came to navigating the underground. He resolved to ask her later. Bijackal had also joined them, with a new light in his face. As he followed Hikari up the tunnel, Miraul turned to the taller Bijackal, as Axana began chatting with the others in there company. "Bijackal, I notice something in your face-hope. What was your trouble before, and what has inspired you now?" Bijackal smiled-something vaguely recognizable in him as friendly, even if the average Skakdi's smile might be seen as a little creepy. "I finally had the chance to grieve the loss of my sister, as the rituals of my people demanded should have been done some time ago. This has lifted some weight from my heart. But at some time, I must set out for vengeance against the brother who wronged us both. I suppose there is some hope in attaining that as well." Bijackal paused for a few seconds, as though pondering something."I was wondering-Miraul, has a Skakdi ever called a Toa brother?" Miraul answered, "Not before. But there is no reason it cannot be done." Vilak strode forward,"Will you abide by our code?" Bijackal thought, for a second, what that ment. Turning from his own people, and their violence. But the way of the Skakdi bred nothing but injustice and death. Perhaps the way of the Toa could save his brother, even after all he had done. "I will." Vilak, Hikari and Miraul offered fists in salute as they emerged on a cliff in Po-Wahi. "Welcome to the Team, brother." OOC:Bijackal, Miraul, Hikari, Vilak, and Axana to Po. Zeal, SIster, and Dekuna likely to follow.
  7. I almost completely agree with Kughii-antagonism between players is something that's completely destructive to the community we have here. If we continue to treat each other like dirt, this RPG will not continue but instead return to the from which it came. By building each other up we will stay together, improve each other's writing talents and ultimately be much happier. I don't think anyone wants us to loose our community, and neither do I. That said, quitting is not necessarily a good answer to a sour enviornment. Perhaps one would be better off staying and trying to change how we act towards one another if there's a problem.
  8. It sounds like interesting things are going on for the voyage...But since I've returned at last (surprised to learn of the announcement of so many changes to BZP, I must admit.) Anyway's, what's been happening all over the island for the past OOC week? I particularly need to focus on Onu-Wahi, Ko-Wahi (Red Star Expedition) and Le-Wahi(Xa-koro Voyage, Daylaria's ship, and ILF.) as those are the places my characters are in. But I'm still curious about everywhere else.
  9. IC: {NPC Kakama Runner} A lone Toa of Ice flashed through the Jungle at lightning speed, heading for one place-Lake Pala. He dodged through a maze of green blurs, moving as quickly as overhanging limbs, vines that like to trip you, plants that like to eat people, various booby traps, mud pits, puddles of quicksand and wild Rahi would allow. At last he stumbled on the place he was looking for-The shores of Lake Pala. Heading towards Pala-Koro, he entered what was left of the many-times besieged new village, seeking a particular Toa of Ice known to lead the warriors found here. Shouting at the top of his lungs, he asked, "Where's Kethrye?" OOC: Control of NPC passed to Benluke.
  10. IC:A lone Toa of Air flew to the village of Ko-Koro that night. Admist dark, cloudy skies and the fury of Ko-Wahi's ever-constant snowstorms, he landed in the center of the village. Finding a messaging service that was still open at this time of day proved to be quite the challenge. But when he did find such a place, he passed a letter to a Kakama runner, before flying back to the rest of the Red Star Voyagers. Dear Kethrye: (Or whomever may be leading the ILF) Last I had contact with you, Vorok, Kivar and myself set off searching out the phantom fleet of ships and soldiers from Xa-Koro that Le-Koro. Needless to say, we have not had any luck in this expedition, since we had yet to return to Pala-Koro for several months. Recently, we returned to Le-Koro to get our affairs in order there before returning to your base. However, our plans were disrupted when it appeared Vilor and the Black Inferno was seeking us out to kill us yet again. We decided to flee to Ko-Wahi and join the expedition that is seeking to sail towards the Red Star to see if it relates to the Vault Riddle. This appeared to us the only place where Vilor could not follow. It seems the expedition could use a little help getting started. We could use more Toa to man our ship. In paticular, we have need of Toa of the Green, of Water, of Earth and of Iron. These elements will make it much easier to sustain a ship for a long voyage. In addition, the ILF are considered warriors of high calibre for their efforts in bringing down the Nui-Rama hive. Veterans such as these are valuable for their experience, particularly in exploring foreign lands. The assistance and support of the ILF would be valued in our exploratory venture. In addition, this exploration may help the ILF continue to fufill it's goal in helping improve the island and the lives of it's inhabitants. Plus, the solving of the Vault Riddle by an impartial third party may indeed help restore Unity among the villages. I hope that the ILF will chose to join us with at least some of it's number. We are in Ko-Wahi right now-you can find us with the crude map on the back. Sincerely yours, Cyclonis, the Green Tornado (Toa of Air) Vorok, (Toa of Gravity) Kivar, (Toa of Sonics) ILF Affilates OOC:NPC Kakama runner to Le-Wahi.
  11. Just so you know, I will be gone next week with Internet. Such is camp. Char controls are as follows. Black Inferno is under the command of Shushei Hisagi. Toa Akiru may be controlled by The Lorax if absolutely necessary. I'd prefer to wait on Onu-Wahi interactions until I return, however. Toa Phantoka(Red Star Voyage chars) may be controlled by Toa Aki or Norik the (Insert Current Display Name Ending Here.) Edit: Just so you know, the control thing starts Monday.
  12. OOC:In other words, we might want to do some more recruiting if we want a self sustaining ship... IC:"Interesting. And you expect to encounter this person on our voyage?" Vorok took a mental inventory of the elements-he saw another Toa of Gravity, some Fire and Stone, and a Toa of Lightning. Not the crew you wanted to create food supplies and nutrition. Best to start recruiting. Green Tornado finished writing and turned to Ignitius, "I hope you don't mind, but I'm going into town and sending a letter to the Island Liberation Force. I haven't had contact with them recently, but I used to, and I'm hoping that we can recruit some Toa who would be of use to us from there number. Plus, these are the people who took down the Nui-Rama hive. If there's a force of strong fighters running around, it's them." OOC EDIT:Couldn't wait for Toa Aki to reply because I'm going. Will send letter next post.
  13. IC:"I am curious-having heard your conversation, as a Toa of Sonics always does. Who is this villian, and what does he hope to accomplish worshipping the dead Master of Shadows? For that matter, what is this Void of which you speak?" Kivar stood, and inquired of those who would join him on the expedition. Green Tornado, meanwhile, found a blank piece of paper and an inkpot on a nearby desk. Hoping the owner wouldn't mind, he began to write something down for the ILF. Vorok began making plans for the vessel in his head, trying to take an inventory of the Toa elements around him. If they were to have a self-sustained ship, then he would need to know what elements they had yet to recruit. OOC:What elements do we currently have on the expedition in addition to Gravity, Air and Sonics? The letter to the ILF in question will be about the matter of joining the expedition.
  14. IC: "Don't worry about getting lost. We'll bring Bijackal. As a tracker, he can lead us back to Onu-Wahi-even in a sandstorm. Though a metal cable would be a good thing to bring- just so we don't get separated." Vilak answered. The waitress returned with the Kikanalo Steaks. "I hope you enjoy your meal."
  15. OOC:You should do something to activate them. That will make them easier to find. IC: "You might get along well with Takamaz-one of the Akiru, Toa of Fire and an engineer himself. I presume you used to wear something like Mask of Biomechanics? He did, too, though it broke in the jungle a few months back, just like Hikari's Faxon. He's gotten a Akaku since-he can tell how things work without even taking them apart now." Miraul smiled. "As for myself and Vilak, we're both weapons specialists. I work with throwing weapons and other projectiles-as if you couldn't tell by the number of throwing knives, javelins, and arrows on my person. Vilak works more exclusively with the blade and the sling, as you might be able to guess by the fact that he carries four swords." Vilak smiled,"Beyond that, we're both good fighting at superspeed. Miraul has some melee and elemental skill when it comes down to it, and I can at least hurl plenty of plasma around. You ever fight at superspeed? Perhaps we could show you some stuff if you'd like to take the Mataraka up to the Motara Desert."
  16. OOC:Black Inferno from Ga, obviously very late. IC: (Vessel Dark Angel) Vilor poked his head into the window of Daylaria's cabin, being too large to fit through the doorway. He noted,"You might want to do something about that fifty foot wave that just slammed the Infinity, or whatever you called that other ship. It seems to be headed this way." Taking a look at the map, Vilor commented, "Bigger explosion. I was there."
  17. IC: "I guess our plans have been permanently magnetized, then." Miraul chuckled. "As long as you don't set them in plasma. Plans, and hands, don't last very long in plasma. Neither does anything else, for that matter." Vilak smirked. He added,"So, do any of you have any talents or hobbies?" The waitress returned promptly with the appetizers and the Ruki sandwich."The steaks will be a few minutes-we have to cook them, after all."
  18. IC:After some brief dive training, and acquiring some air bladders, the Black Inferno boarded Daylaria's vessel to Le-Wahi. OOC: Late post. Black Inferno to Le.
  19. IC:"Just so we have it set in stone- after the meal, return to my forge so we can get a sixth Toa, assuming my team to be willing., and try out blasting the Mataraka on the surface? Then we can follow up with some missing persons reports in the morning. They may not help in the most dangerous parts of the island, but they might be useful if one of your friends shows up in the villages. Sound good?" Miraul asked. The female waitress left with their order, returning to the kitchen so the chef could get it ready. OOC:Are the characters you're looking for still alive, Zeal?
  20. OOC:Place named. It'd be funny if the name sticks and people start using it when they need an NPC restaurant. IC: (Onu-Koro, the Ugly Ussal) Miraul smiled and said,"I guess I'd take the bula salad appetizer, and a hamburger." Vilak smiled, "A swordsman's gotta keep his energy up. Let's go with his salad and a Kikanalo steak. Medium rare." Miraul detected a hint of the fact that Vilak was again attempting to impress the waitress, but decided not to worry about it. Perhaps directing Vilak's impulses would be better approach than attempting to control them.
  21. Just so you know, I don't check my profile feed that often.

  22. Theoretically, the Toa Akiru Forge (Onu) should be able to make you some. Since we have a Toa of Crystal on staff, the only trick is getting the ratio right on the lightstone and heatstone powders. Note, however, that the Akiru would only sell the explosives to someone who has good, morally acceptable reason to buy them. Just noting that since the Brotherhood is something you lead.
  23. IC:"I'm in for sure. I have good reasons to travel away from here-better than staying." Kivar smiled,"I relish the chance to see the wilds of the lands beyond my own-though I do fear that none will speak for the Jungle when I am gone." Green Tornado answered, "I'm just happy for the adventure. By the way, a suggestion-if you don't yet have a vessel, it might be wise to build one that's self-sustaining. That may be what's necessary to follow the Red Star for long distances. In which case, we might need to have a crew that includes a Toa of the Green, a Toa of Water, and a Toa of Earth to produce the food and water. Perhaps the ILF has some Toa who might be willing to come with us-maybe we should send a message." OOC:It's been noted that any Mata Nui vessel doesn't have the range to sail to the Kentoku Archipelago, which is where I suspect we will arrive if we succeed-it's introduction is almost certainly related to the Vault Riddle and the only known land beyond the island of Mata Nui. I suspect the range is due to supply limits, and with that in mind, I think self-sustainment is a suggestion we should consider.
  24. Good luck with that. Hope he's somewhere else right now, or your only "living" return might be as a walking corpse.
  25. IC:Miraul answered,"I will see wish members of my team wish to help you-though you will have to return to the Akiru Forge after the meal." At that point, the waiter arrived, delivering their drinks, and offering, "May I take your order?" OOC:Considering that we sat down to eat, I figured it was time that happened. We didn't already order the meal, did we?
