  1. IC: Malik Chili peppers? I'll admit I was surprised, "Uh, well I like them I guess. You gotta cook them with something though, spice should enhance the flavor. After all raw spice is just arbitrary heat." Having a discussion about chili peppers with a domestic intruder. What did I just walk into?
  2. Cool. Time for Shopkeeper A to bond with another Shopkeeper.
  3. I'll confess, I haven't been following as closely as I probably should but quick question. Is the shopkeeper in the food court(?) still around?
  4. IC: Malik As my weary eyes scanned the room I had just walked into, I realized just how much of a wreck the place had begun. Bottles and cigarettes littering the ground, broken shards of glass and torn paintings. Oh and I almost forgot the mention. The bloody toa sitting and drinking in the middle of the whole thing. Oh and did I mention they all looked ready for a fight. ###### me. "That's odd," I chuckled, "Didn't know I was expecting company. Would've prepared tea or something." Tea, like that'll satisfy them. You're an idiot Malik.
  5. Nah. Hubert and I never know what we're doing. How do you think the magic boat happened? And before any of you start pestering me again, yes I finally made a post. So I have every right to post here again. Who am I kidding none of you are going to pester me. I'm just gonna stop now. Nobody loves me.
  6. IC: Malik (Ta-Wahi Forest, Shaddix Manor) Home. That's what I'm supposed to start off with right? I'm supposed to feel a degree of relief right? Ease? Peace? Truth to be told I felt none of that, probably because this place didn't feel like home. The closest thing I had to a home had been in Ko, Dorian and I used to play around in the icy wastes. I still remember that one time we had been in the Mt. Ihu drifts. I had the dumb idea to try scaling the mountains, thought it'd be nice to see the view from the top. However slippery snow makes it hard to scale a mountain and the raging blizzard most definitely did not help. If it wasn't for Dorian's quick thinking, I would have fallen from the Mountain side and his quick thinking saved us again as he figured out a way to navigate the snowy drifts. I would have been lost and alone had it not been for my brother, but that was all in the past. My home in Ko was gone and so was Dorian. Reminiscing on such things just wasn't worth it. It only stirred up painful memories, memories that I did not care to relive. Which brings me back to my present location. A home I visited only a handful of times during my childhood. A home my father represented our nobility, an absurdly foolish notion. Dor and I learned at a young age that there was little nobility in our family. Just a bunch of foolish old men playing make believe. Wealth existed in our family, but no nobility. A truth my father never seemed to have realized. This house represented a culmination of all of those foolish ideals, the extent of my family's so called "nobility." Beyond these doors awaited a world of wealth and prestige, but I still cared little for any of that. I was here for the free room and board. The chance to sleep in the comfort of an actual bed. My mind and body yearned for a nice long rest, after all I hadn't treated it well at all. It almost made me want to apologize, but there was still work to do, there was always work to do. My eyes returned to the doors in front. Carved and elegant, with the seal of the House Shaddix ringing out as those it actually possessed a degree of nobility. It was as pathetic as it was sad. Darkest before dawn? Those words held no meaning for Malik. This island was always dark, if a dawn was to come it would be on the blood and toil of those suffering during the dark. Always looking towards the dawn served to forget the sacrifices of the past. The dawn wouldn't rise on its own, it required the work of those toiling in the darkness. Darkest before dawn was nothing more than a powerless noble's reassurance to his people. A part of me wanted to turn back here. This house represented all the evils and foolish pipe dreams in my family, the memories I didn't want to relive kept flooding back as I stood upon this ground. Performing foolish pranks on villagers. Fighting alongside Dorian when they went bad. Reading novels of heroes and legend with my sister. Dreams of an idyllic past that merely served to haunt me. I had to laugh honestly, and a slight chuckle did escape my lips. Since when did my thoughts grow so dark. When did I get so dark? I was always the jokester, the naive fool in my family, and here I was brooding about how foolish my ancestors had been. It was as pathetic as it was laughable. Dor would kill me if he saw me like this. I'd probably end up with a punch to the jaw as my bro told me how much a whiny fool I was being. The longer I stood here the more the forest served to darken my thoughts. The ash of Ta-Wahi wasn't the kind of place that inspired happy and serene views. I could either stand here, staring at the door of house I had every right to enter. Wasting away my time and ruining my name even further. Or I could open it. The answer should be obvious. With a push I threw open the doors of the manner. I was the last Shaddix and I guess in odd sort of way that made me master of this house. Funny how these things end up working. The master was home and he desperately needed to sleep.
  7. Not breaking fingers or drinking the blood of babies? Or kissing dudes?
  8. You could always nerf the aftereffect. A minute of extra power in exchange for extreme exhaustion afterwards.
  9. Steampunk Weird West? Cowboys riding steampunk horses in the literal Victorian Era?
  10. Welp, my battle isn't ending. I have a feeling ArcticFreeze is out for the day. Ah well, so close to having fun murdering one more time. So close.
  11. New episode up, this one takes a look at some of the other RPGs on BZPowers.
  12. This makes me worried that you're ending the round in like less than a hour. Come on guys, I was just starting to have fun. Party poopers just wanna rob me of my fun. So mean guys, so mean.
  13. OOC: It's all good. I was just using Silvanni to poke fun at things. IC: Silvanni Well it seems like communications had broken down, but hey atleast I had hit one of his legs, that was bound to encumber his movement. Plus he was in a spearman posture which put me at a nice advantage as long as I got in close. I grinned, I suppose I could have a little fun like this. "Fine, fine, let's have it your way." Before the words had even finished leaving my mouth, I had already kicked some snow in the air, right at my opponent's eyes. The sudden upward burst of snow would hopefully obscure my opponent's vision, so I could close the range in just a second. Of course I didn't waste any time, allowing the upward flying snow to mask my movements as I closed in on my opponent's shield hand side. The advantage of being on the shield side? It left my opponent in an extremely awkward position if he tried to hit me with his weapon. One step past the shield, and I was able to thrust with my dagger right at my opponent's exposed side. Let's see how well Mr. Rahk boy fares.
  14. IC: Silvanni Okay first off, how in the world did shovel boy just do that. He blocked my bullets with a shovel. I mean granted most of them were going to miss anyway, but didn't I just make a big point about how bullets traveled faster than sound? I mean even if he did somehow hear the gun, over the howling storm winds I might add, it'd be too late I sighed, not like that mattered now, the kid had already done the impossible. Of course his dumb imperative also caused me to sigh, "But that hardly sounds like fun. Wants wrong with the classic 2v2." Also poet boy, at this point I've got a pretty good guess that you do something to minds. You've got odd magic around you. Anyhow, if you are listening in the events that this devolve into 1v1 don't feel to constrained feel to smash my opponent's head in the event things stop looking in my favor. I'll do the same alright? But yeah that little message out of the way I stared at shovel boy while spinning my dagger-pistol. Here's to hoping the kid coalesced. Seeing my buddy smash in heads was fun.
  15. With all this talk about the Pokemans. Am I allowed to Digivolve? Also ArticFreeze17, just wondering if you had noticed my Silvanni post, wouldn't be too surprised if it got missed in the rapid fire.
  16. I live in Missouri. Aka the place where weather says screw consistency I'll be whatever I'm in the mood for. In the span of fifteen minutes I've gone from storming and over cast to super sunny to absurdly windy and cold.
  17. IC: Silvanni Well that wasn't fun. Everything wasn't going great. Little by little. Lovely pal of mine had been screwed over. For my buddy over there, the poet who didn't even know it. Or maybe he did. Really though, it's not like it mattered. I just wanted to rhyme. The point is, things were no longer going well for him. He'd been doing fine, when the Rahk let out some magic. Engulfed the area, some sort of status effect. Little old me hadn't analyzed it enough to figure out just quite yet. Oh well. Von Armsomething or the other was my ally. Everyone knows you help your allies. Of course I didn't just reveal my copied power. That was my trump in case things got really annoying. For now my pistol would suffice, I was at range but I did have the element of surprise. Great shooting wasn't needed, at best I'd hit them, at worse they'd be distracted and the field might ware off. Otherwise I'd just shoot when they got closer. Dagger-pistol then did it's thing. My shouts followed after the bullets, "Bang, bang, bang." That said, it didn't matter, by the time they heard my shouting, it'd be too late, bullets travel fast. Heavenly bullets were even faster. I should probably point out that my bullets weren't heavenly. Still, they were faster than sound. It's a pretty standard fact about guns. Seriously, my shouts were perfectly fine and reasonable. Faster than my shouts was a guarantee. By the time of my voice, those bullets had already reached. Unless the Rahkshi was even faster I had a good chance of hitting with at least a handful of shots. Now that I'm done, just a quick heads up. Don't look at the first letter of each line. OOC: Silvanni firing bullets at Prose and Kuro.
  18. Krayz's favorite weapon = Shamshir. I feeling real hurt Grochi, who wasn't that you talked at length about sword techniques with. Hint it wasn't Kray. Granted this was like over a year ago but still. I'm hurt.
  19. All this mention of one handed swords and you don't mention my favorite sword Grochi? Poor Shamshir, always forgotten. But yeah, Grochi said most of what I was going to say regarding swords.
  20. To this day I've never understood why people thought Scythes were a good or even feasible weapon.
  21. I swear I don't write Silvanni. He just writes himself. He scares me. What have I done.
  22. IC: SIlvanni Zikkray Knock Knock. Who's there? Silvanni. Silvanni who? Silvanni just helped kill a man and it felt great. But yeah, not sure I've actually killed someone before. It pretty fun I suppose, one way to relieve my boredom to be sure, of course I couldn't see my self doing this for the rest of my life, but hey small time excursions are the spice of life. Anyhow since last time I found myself getting to go through the portals again, the second exposure provided more than enough time to copy the portal, so I did. Time would tell whether I'd decide to out my power just quite yet. Still I did have to solve one tiny problem with the portals. So now give me a second please. Writing this does not come with ease. I had fell from high. Thought maybe I'd die. But a quick leap made it a breeze. So yeah, I survived the fall, just had to time my leap and roll down the snow, a little scratched up but nothing too major. It wasn't a high fall after all. Now there I was, watching my buddy smash that guy's skull in with his hammer. Brutal thing really, quite amusing but brutal. I'm sure neets like you fantasize about that kind of stuff all the time. Anyway I watch my buddy approach two new enemies, and after engaging he does something odd, he slips in a corner and seems content to just watch. Now this raised a few flags, so I opened my eyes and sure enough some sort of magic had been wrapped around of the foes. Not entirely sure what the magic was of course, I'm guessing illusion based, but it'd take time to fully understand. Still regardless of the outcome it'd nonetheless be quite amusing. So from my little perch on the mountainside I watched the upcoming battle with wide eyes. Oh I'd jump in eventually, I was sure of it, but right now no point in messing up my partner's plans. Well unless I got bored of just watching. Then anything was up for game. I'm sorry, was my train of thoughts too long for you neet. Well I'm not gonna say sorry, but look on the bright side, I showed off my poetic mastery with a limerick. You should be proud of dear old Silvanni. He's come a long way, brings a tear to my eye to see Shopkeeper in such magnificence. But seriously, why are you still reading this? I'm done talking of things of import, go find something better to do. Like homework or sleep. Silvanni out. Huh, never signed out before.
