True...but then again, why didn't they have a great being (besides the one who wants kill everyone) monitor their progress? Seems to me the Great Beings should not allow their devices to have flaws.

Okay this really boggled meIn Reign of Shadows I think or in the latest stories, Agonence made a machine to destroy all Toa because they thought the Toa would kill the Agori? Why would they think that?! Was because of the glitch with the Battera? Think about it...and then when he decided to turn off the machine, it left the building. The Great Beings really needed to fix those glitches. But seriously why would they want to kill the heroes?!

Chapter 2: The four walked on, knowing there was no way out. Their guide was one of the most powerful Toa in the Matoran Universe. Toariaxia was once a King of this island but...something happend. Everyone thought he was dead. He knew the most about the Reganade, for he has lived in this world for 500 years. "So..." Kyleax spoke in a fearful tone due to what had happened, "Um...hoe did you get here?" "Well," Toariaxia spoke," It was 5 centuries ago, when the Reganade first came. No one knew who they were, or why they were here. The elders thought this was a curse by the Great Spirit, that's when me and my team of Toa: Darix, Toa of Stone and my best friend Hicana, Toa of Water Lastoa, Toa of Air Houndox, Toa of Ice and my other best friend. went down there to investigate. We soon discovered that the Reganade were spontanious, came from no where. We made it back to the entrance but...it ould only but opened from the out side. My friends and I were locked in. Houndox was able to make it out due to him not being organic. We told him to warn the others and to keep this door locked. He escaped and we were imprisoned here. 300 years passed, and Lastos died and Hicana and Darix got captured...I was the last one left...Darkness nearly consumed me...and I became the first Toa of Fire and Darkness. That... was my tale...

He got up and grabbed his sword as he walked out of his hut. Out there, were four other toa, Jewela toa of water, Spyroxa toa of air, Drugol toa of earth, and Leeoix toa of stone. He told them about this dream he had, but when he finished, a white toa of Ice came. Houndox was his name, a robot Toa of Ice, he wore the Mask of X-ray vision, and weilded a Ice blaster. Jayko told Houndox about the dream and houndox said,"The Reganade is what you mean," he said," The kings of this island fought them, and banished them to the underworld, a land of pure darkness, and the most hidious of beings, a toa once went down there, but never returned..." A matoran over heard the toa and went to investigate the this, 'underworld'. This matoran was Zacaz, Matoran of fire, but now you know him as Toa Zac. He grabbed his friends Bosal the po-matoran, and Kyleax the le-matoran. Together, they went to the gate of the underworld and went inside. The door slammed shut behind them with a bang, scaring the matoran. Fear struck their hearts as the cave went black. They saw nothing, but heard screeching, howling, and barking from the distance...the sounds came closer, and closer, till they saw vaguely the silhouties from the flames the creatures held. One though came to them, and they trembled in it. One word came to mind...Reganade... The Matoran rushed to the wall, banging on it, pulling the cold, metal handle trying to get it to open, but nothing worked. They knew death was near, so, without fear, they stood their submitting to their doom. They closed their eyes in hopes of not seeing their fate. But when they opened, they saw a grey and dark red Toa fending off the horrifying monsters. He never took one scratch, he kept fighting till they all were finished. It mattered not how many came, he made them fall faster than any team of toa could do. "We are sorry," Zac spoke for the others,"Might we ask your name?" The Toa got on one knee and spoke,"My name is Toariaxia," he said.End Chapter 1

Well, you see, when one daddy turaga and one mommy turaga like each other VEEERY much... Their love is decanonized and they go turn on some Matoran factory somewhere. On their own. Because they need a new matoran.A factory. Ooookayyyy...That's the implication of some of the side material, yes. For example, one book states that now that metru nui is re-populated, the facilities for creating new matoran are available again. Wow...nice save on the daddy and mommy turaga thing...

Okay clearly people are believing turaga were meant to badies cuz of Dume and their secreciy well look: -The dume that was Teridax was NOT the true dume, Likhan said that-the Turaga kept secrets for the matoran's protection(Like parent do with kids sometimes)-The tuaga were toa!-They aided the toa, and I doubt the turaga were meant to be badies, Greg would never intend that. America Maori Culture is not that well known. Maori culture is not american at all. It is from new zealand and the pacific islands Not trying to be mean or anything, but that was funny! Back on topic - Actually, Bob Thompson, the founder of BIONICLE, had the whole "story bible" (which was originally quite different than the story we knew today) in his head, that the Turaga and matoran were going to go back to Metru Nui, the Inika were going to Voya Nui, and eventually, save Mata Nui. The Inika were actually supposed to be the ones who went into Karda Nui, not the Nuva. I read that information on the Greg Farshtey Dialogue a long time ago, and now I can't find the thread on the forums... It's up to you to believe whether what I said was true. Makes sense Iku, but I guess the fans ranted on the Toa Nuva no longer sets, so Lego slapped them in, not that I'm complaining I missed Tahu, he was one of my favorite characters.

Your right Erebus, but it does kinda make you wonder. But this is about the Great Being's Creation. As a writer I know that Greg will reveal the Great being's history later on after the story of their creation is over.But til then, we just ask this question: What are they?

Chapter 1: Monga Nui...Matoran for "Underworld"...this island was made for the dead...this was not afterlife...this was more of a discard pile...the beings here...are monsters, mutated and destructive...evil beings live here...the shells of the shadows...the corpses of Makuta...a word would sum this up. Reganade Reganade are but living coprses of the makuta. Not alive, but not dead. They use the armor of the dead Makuta, and attach parts of deadly rahi to them. Some say the Great Beings used this as a curse upon the misbehaving. But the Great Beings did not create these monsters...these were spontanious. Again, it cannot be Mavrah. He's still in the Red Star with Kopaka and Pohatu. You maybe right, and Pirok I highly doubt Greg doesn't know who the murderer is. But we never thought Metus was the traitor, or that Makuta would suceed in taking over the Matoran Universe. Greg has always surprised us. So...
