    Alright, so if Rahkshi attack and we know they're swarming the island because it's in the game's backstory, we're screwed.
     
    In that case then why hasn't Makuta destroyed the Koro's defense forces, subjugate the Matoran with Rahkshi overlords, and call it a day? You've already expressed that you don't like the whole "Mata-Nui as a giant robot" thing so obviously that's not Makuta's plan of taking over the Matoran Universe and using the power of the Universe to subjugate the Matoran.
     
    Where Makuta stands now is perhaps the best he's going to get. The Matoran fear him. He's already unstoppable and can be everywhere at once. Even if the Toa Mata are keeping him personally at bay for the last 100 years he still has plenty of Rahkshi to keep the Matoran in line. Obviously there are enough evil PC's to run interferance against the good PC's to keep them from keeping the Rahkshi AND Rahi at bay.
     
    If the Koro's can't defend themselves then tell me... WHAT IS KEEPING THE RAHKSHI AND RAHI AT BAY?
     
    Now if there is some overarching plot for a goal we don't yet know about that's fine but Makuta doesn't strike me as stupid and let an oppertunity for a swift decisive victory to pass. Now seems like a good time to me. Let the Rahkshi loose to push the players back and follow up with evil PC's and more Rahkshi to subjugate the villages. End Game.
     
    The most logical solution I see here is that the Military Forces of each Koro are large enough to make such an invasion not worth the gain as too many Matoran would die resisting their oppressors and that's not what the Makuta wants. Even then, military would make up even logically half the population as not everybody wants to serve full time. Mortality is a very key factor in survival instinct.
     
    If the population is not large enough and you are certantly limiting it, then what is keeping the Makuta from striking while the iron is hot? It can't be taking over the universe the way he did in canon because you don't like it. It can't be the Toa Mata because he's still acting through agents, infection, Rahi, and Rahkshi. Right now the only thing that would cause him (and me) to balk is the sheer numbers of fighting Matoran ready to die for the cause.
     
    So... what's your call on that?

    I've just realised I've never mentioned this before: I am fluent in Irish (A* GCSE when I was 12).
    Hubert didn't know this, and I pointed out that the name of the sword 'Fragarach' was a lot like the word for answer, 'freagrach'.

    We can discuss this here. By the way, Cú Chullain has a space. It means 'hound of Cullan'.

    I've noticed that I doubt the existence of people in real life, but I always consider everyone on BZP as real people. Probably because I know that no-one could program AI intelligent enough to hold intelligent, BIONICLE-related conversations.

    On another note, I decided to randomly put the names of my characters through Google Translate and see what their names translated into English would be. Most of them didn't have any translations, except for Septimus and Naona. I knew that Septimus was Latin for 'The seventh', but I didn't expect Naona to be Swahili for the pronoun 'I'.

    JK, everyone, JK. I don't really think that; Nor am I under the impression that every cool dude with the words 'Merry Christmas' on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding;
    I just got Jaller!
    TBH, his mask is wider than I'd expected...
    I also got Super Mario 3D Land, 'Happy Christmas Mr. Bean', a new phone, and enough chocolate to make most normal people ill just looking at it. And dominoes.
    All in all, this Christmas is shaping up to be pretty good.

    Anyhow, I think the world filter might be a bit OTT. Some things I can understand being filtered, like BZP Lovers, or ####, ####, ####, etceteras.
    However, cool dude, and Nobody cares about me. I needed attention, so I wanted to be annoying. don't seem that much like something that should be filtered. Okay, maybe Nobody cares about me.     If you're expecting me to start singing 'Alvin & the Chipmunks' you've got another thing coming.
    What this entry's really about is, what are you planning to get for Christmas?
    I wanted to get Mario Kart 7 (sold out), Super Mario 3D Land (sold out), the Doctor Who Series 6 box set, a new phone, and a number of other items related to Doctor Who. And Jaller Inika.
    Since MK7 and SM3DL are sold out, I'm going to be getting either 'The Sims 3: Pets' for 3DS, or 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D' which I would already have, had I not been broke since I spent all my money on a 3DS in April, so that I could play Ocarina when it came out (Oh, the irony).
     
    So, what're you, my readers, getting for Christmas?

    I'm working through 'The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap' and spending about five hours a day.
    I'm not even past Death Mountain Mt. Crenel.
    It's the hidden bomb-able walls that get me. I miss normal walls that can be bombed, I don't know how I'm supposed to see secret ones.

    Mere moments ago, I reread the e-mail from LEGO concerning the discontinuation of BIONICLE.
    Even though it's been over two years, it still brought a tear to my eye. So remember during this happy time, that two years ago BIONICLE was still out there, bringing purpose to our lives and emptiness to our wallets. Now, it's only a ghost of what it once was.
    January 1st 2010 was the beginning of a decade and the end of an era.
