I noticed that, yeah... But meh. This is fan shtuff and an alternate universe anyhow. Also, Psionics is a female element in canon, so forget it.I'm going to need to read that again, because I sort of skimmed it. Reader's Digest Version: Ler and Soran are rogue super soldiers who lead epic lives.J-K out.
-
Oh shoot. Turns out Psionics' associated colors are blue and gold - Too bad i'm halfway through coloring the possible new version of Leraku. I think i'll stick with purple though - kind of fits with Ler's red/blue theme.

I've decided to do some revisions to the Leraku character as a whole, i've been thinking about it and examining my MOC of him that i have dubbed Polaris. For starters, his mask is going to be a Faxon officially now, description of why it is that will be later. I don't have any good sprites of a Faxon yet, so, i'm going to be working on possible 6shade sprites of it, or if anyone else wants to give it a go, feel free. Another thing is that i have debated mentally on his color scheme - Technically, Psionic beings are purple/black/gray/silver? Leraku is going to have a pretty serious backstory, though - I'm going to give a bit of backstory about it, but i'm not going to go into super detail, so as not to spoil too much. Leraku was part of a project to enhance normal beings into nigh-invincible supersoldiers, several beings selected, Leraku being one of them, and given insane enhancements of varying kinds. He pulled through the rigorous experience, the resulting power he got was Psionics - although in his case, an incredibly unstable form of Bipolaric psionics, giving a slight multiple-personality disorder, and, on occasion, to completely flip-flop emotions and ETC. He was almost regarded as a failure, but was given his chances. He was given a Faxon, as he was intended to be a stealth unit, but, this was soon shrugged off and left there as he showed he was not fit for the job, and more like a powerhouse of speed and... well, power. Alongside his own experiments were other beings - namely, Soran. Others may be named as time goes on, or as LCs progress. Soran's powers were shadowcasting, allowing him control over dark energy, his most common use being teleportation. After various training sessions and missions alongside Soran, as they were paired together - Soran being re-dubbed later as the stealth unit, and he was given heightened intelligence. Leraku's Psionics had given him higher intelligence as well, making them a nigh-unstoppable force... but at what cost? Leraku began questioning the morals of this job, and eventually started to rebel, destroying the organization's (Not named or described in this case to save plot detail) general facilities, as well as trying to bring Soran with him, as they had become friends over time. However, Soran, although somewhat swayed, stuck with his role, sticking to his rule that 'they had given him all he had', and had 'taken him away from something[Possibly someone, maybe Akino] terrible'. From then, they had become rivals - Soran often sent off to try and capture Leraku. Much time later, Soran broke off, but regardless followed Leraku. Since this, Leraku had been overcome with guilt for what he had done, and tried to pass himself off as a matoran of Plasma, attempting to redeem himself for what he had done by going off on a quest, seen at the beginning of D3. This had thrown off Soran for the time being, but, eventually, Leraku's ruse wore off, showing at the chaotic unleashes of his powers, and then eventually taking his mask back. Soran now attempts to reason with Leraku - who thinks that the shadow-powered being is against him still. Leraku now plans to go on an journey throughout the island, searching and hoping for revenge.Pretty elaborate, isn't it?I may add to it over time.

Hee hee - A battleworn psionic is clearly a mastermind!Nice job, the effects on the flashback panels are a nice touch.
-
Hee hee. Guess i'm getting paranoid! Trying to cut ropes. Ropes that don't exist NOW, but... they might someday.Good comic, though! Colors are fine.
-
Heh heh - I wasn't expecting that! Good work. This is gonna take some thought...
-
Hmm.I'm fairly sure what Akino just said has something to do with pants, but i'm not too sure.EDIT: I read it before i read Soran's little under-text, so, i guess i was pretty close!

I'm surprised no one's remarked on my involvement with the end of the Compendium yet.Regardless, it's good to see these back up along with the forums!

Oh hey, the forums are back!Great.Welp, i may be able to get something up sometime, but, no guarantees on exactly when.-Ler

Wow, has it really been... uh, nine days since i've posted in here?Huh.Wellllllll.I don't have any good finished comics, and i have been drop-dead empty in terms of ideas. (Having only a few ACs doesn't help either, i tend to forget any good ideas i have-but-i-can't-do-due-to-being-busy, so having more frequent AC income helps. I have been pretty drained lately, even trying to listen to songs so i can get back to you guys. I've had some ideas, but i doubt i can implement them, plus i'll need to completely remake the slew of soldier sprites i made in Xanis so i can continue the 'memories', at least if you want said memories in Chimoru. I've been having some... issues getting along with pixels lately, anyhow. Stuff's just been annoying when i've been trying to sprite. Sorry, you guys. If you want to help, please, send in ACs, even if you've already sent one in. If you suddenly go "Oh wow, i just got an idea related to D3", send it in! Even if it's not entirely related to current goings-on, i may be able to use it later, even though i'd still like for-the-moment ACs.-Ler

Oh sheesh, where to begin.Story-wise, anything after Metru-Nui just... didn't fit for me. The parts were cool, yes, but things just seemed to go absolutely crazy for me. Toa, fighting for their lives and the fate of the universe - oh no wait let's mess around with piraka beasts, squid monsters, and gladiators! (The parts were decent, but that's all i'm giving them. I don't really like the new head style though.)...Gah. I just don't think they should have gone past Voya Nui. Mahri was cool, yes, but things just got a bit strange there. I mean, it was cool how there was suddenly six enemies, one for each toa, in Voya Nui (Kal and Vahki don't count since there were more than just one of each, at least according to the Bionicle Game) but... I think they were starting to go a bit far with trying to get 'launcher' parts. Do people really want kids flicking around little projectiles? And you know that almost every kid disregards that little thing on the back that says 'do not launch at people'. I'm not trying to get all 'mreh mreh kid safety', but i nearly accidentally smacked my sister in the eye with a Zamor sphere back in the day. Plus those launchers were just so fiddly, and i actually literally built a custom little thing at the top of my zamor sphere case (that thing that holds four zamor on top of the launcher) just so they wouldn't pop out whenever i tried to fire. And, both the squid launcher and that whatever-it's-called gatling gun, er, gun, well, they were both really fiddly, the squid launcher i could launch but it just got stuck more of the time. The Cordak Launcher ( At least, that's what i think it's called) could fire, but it just didn't seem right when it did, and it left something to be desired. Plus, the little bullet things got stuck in their slots too often and i could never get them out. (Which is wierd, since i found one or two of my cordak launchers nowadays and i can't find the boolets anywhere.) Aside from the launchers, i honestly loved Voya Nui. The VNOG was fun, the little freetheband games were fun, Bionicle Heroes was fun, all the parts were amazing......Mahri nui just seemed really over-hyped. The games were really bad, and either click-and-point target practice or really weird platformers (I'm talking about you, Matoro. Many times have i somehow gotten stuck in a boulder i'm supposed to push.) The sets were okay, but some things just seemed left to be desired. They looked a bit too much like soldiers or something for my liking. Hahli was probably the only one i liked at this point. (I somehow ended up with two Hahli Mahri sets, actually - hooray, i have two claw pieces.) The main thing that i even liked about this was the videos. They were dynamic and had neat effects, but other than that it seemed really strange....Don't get me started on Glatorians. Are you sure? Here goes...Whoaaa! Now there's gladiators! Now there's a little game you play! But there isn't!Now there is!What's going on?You always miscount that silly little life counter on the back!Thornax always seemed to slip out of their launchers for me...The story was okay for each village, but the whole giant-robots mata-nui himself getting there was really strange to me. Aside from explaining the origins of each village, the rest of the story pretty much confused me. I did, however, absolutely hate the new head pieces. I still do. No backwards compatible helmets! Nope. Nah-ah. No way. Just helmets. For one line of sets....Ugh. At least you can backwards compatible the metru head masks onto the Mata heads to an extent, and vice-versa to an extent. And with the whole robot-fighting story... How is a moon supposed to kill a giant robot that literally CREATED the moons and is supposed to be bigger than anything? And then there's Phantoka/Mistika...I never really understood it.Jetpacks!Vehicles!Pump blasters!Silver ball launchers that are OBVIOUSLY not zamor ripoffs! It was extremely hard to follow the story, and the minigames were just horrible to me.Plus... Hero Factory? To me? Rescue heroes, but you build them.Hero factory.Rescue Heroes.See the likeness, anyone?/end rant

I like it! The way you used a wheel part for the Unown is quite interesting, and there are some neat pieces that i don't see too often on the Volcarona. Nice job!
-
Just give me the blasted gear-shaped currency. Here's your 1000 widgets leraku, all forgeries.Wait, you meant real money....
-
Spinning, i'd say.Even without you saying it I am currently working on it. I didn't know it was a race though. Good thing I haven't animated it yet. Is it a race or just spinning?
-
I can't, i don't even have Arga's sprites.^^^^^ Make that comic. Do it.
-
Meanwhile...Leraku vs Argaraffe in a spinny-wheely-office-chair contest!
-
Too bad. I have a secret that prevents that ad infinitum.Plot. If suddenly lera went soul-poof, plots would be ruined. And you don't want that.Bwa-ha-ha -Oh look, rockets!Either way, I still get their souls...
-
nope not bettin' that i don't mess around with souls buddyIll wager both your souls that something happens.
-
I'll bet you a thousand widgets that it doesn't blow up the attic, just for sport.XD The rocket will blow the attic up. Calling it.
-
... I can't even explain how that happened.I like the kit split between universes. I kind of figured that was how that was going.J-K out.
I could have sworn it was obvious enough - Utah blasted Justax into the air, who landed nearby Joe.I'm also wondering how that happened... Still it's entertaining. I also like the clarification of the different sprite kits. It will make it a lot easier to understand where the story is taking place.Keep up the good work,~Soran

Model rockets? I don't need models. I can get to the moon with or without rockets.would you like to see the pictures i didn't think so well the camera sort of imploded for some reason up there
-
JK: Slowly approach JoeKJ: Oh hey, Justax. When did you get here? You fail miserably. What now?EDIT: From here on out, to keep things at least a little easier to clarify, BZ-Universe [u1] will be in Xanis, Virtual Universe [u2] will be in Chimoru.

Leraku's powers are not specifically telepathic - He can range from completely obliterating anything in his path with raw energy, to a focused blast. I'm hoping you've seen Ler's power demonstrations in D3, as an example.Ah, but TNG'S intelligence fluctuates from -200 to 136, remember? That was stated several times. So the effect of your Psionics varies! A mental assault could anything from kill him to bounce right off.
-
Lightsaber vs Psionic power - that would be interesting, wouldn't it? Outcome seems a bit one-sided though.LOL. Leraku scares the Karz outta everyone. I wonder what Comic TNG's reaction would be, since in most situations he's either too awesome or too stupid to fear anything but lack of pie. (Plus there's the fact that he never goes anywhere unarmed...he'd pull a lightsaber out of his rear before he was caught empty-handed.)And thus Argaraffe has been defeated! Biocryptid had no lines, but his facial expression was enough.Great comic.
