That is totally what Leraku would do - hah, i actually kinda laughed, which i don't do about comics too often. Videos, yes, but comics, not often. So, good work. ...I should really set up an award for the specific purpose of giving it to you.
-
No, i'd like to keep it open for now. However, apologies on the double post - i didn't like having to do it, and since i didn't have any feasible content available, nor would i likely for a while, i had to, since the topic being far in the back, people were not likely to check it for the information i posted. I'll be more careful anyways, so, thank you.Do not double post unless you have new content. If you'd like, you can have your topic temporarily closed and reopened when you're ready to update it. -
Okay, here's the deal. This is pretty important, so i'd appreciate if it wasn't merged into the past post so this can move to the front so people could read it.
For starters, i've been EXTREMELY busy lately. New computer issues, real life commitments, and general business with my family. And i've had a few issues with the comics. For example, the first time i tried to set up the latest comic, GIMP crashed due to me accidentally putting too many digits for the resize tool. It overloaded the script-fu and crashed. For another thing, i am still going to be waiting to see how the other spritework goes on around here and see how it comes out - plus, i've been out in a 'phase' again where i have not had much drive to make comics, but once i have enough spare time and an inkling of drive, i think i can keep up the comics again. For now, i don't know how long it'll be before the next comic - which is unfortunate due to how infrequently i make comics as it is. Hopefully, however, if i get to the right point, i'll be able to start back up that insanely fast comic speed like i did when the comic was first starting out. Sorry about all this.

Of course Ler doesn't react. (That's secretly the car he rebuilt. It's better because it has more cupholders.)
-
Not a problem. You seemed like an obvious choice since your character was one of the main, well, let'ss call them 'debbygoers'. And... Leraku doesn't associate with Akino very much. As a quick little spoiler about the 'Leraku's Perspective of everyone else list' that i haven't started, Leraku sees Akino as a guinea pig for things, as seen in the birthday comic for Soran. He knows that most don't really like Akino too much, and knows a few things about how he seems to be nigh-invincible.Whoa! That's some crazy luck right there. Awesomeness!@Leraku's Fan Comic well, that was awkward. I'm guessing third panel has Debby's wreckage? Oh, and thanks for putting me in it! -
For a quick example about the above mentioning of text issues, which i can agree on, try making a slightly larger version of the text in some other color, then make the real text in front of it in the correct color. Sometimes this can give some... alignment issues, actually. But it's a basic start to get you going in the right direction.
-
I could have sworn i sent you a comic on Leraku's opinion of Debby - he actually could care less about the car. Oh well, might as well show it. But, then again, perhaps he's there because he doesn't like machinery being broken.
-
Hmm... Looking good at this point still. Good luck on the rest of the masks - i'll see what i can do in terms of the Faxon, but i'd appreciate it if you kept trying too.
-
Hmmm... Wait. I just thought of something. When i titled that PM awhile ago 'Chimoru ARRRR', is that why you made the banner like that? Hahaha.I feel like i contributed somehow.
-
I should really make a fan comic on Leraku's perspective for everyone, shouldn't i? It'd definitely clear things up.
-
For that is the Way of the Akino. Have you not realized who it is we speak of?Akino. He doesn't NEED things to make sense or be possible. That's why he's so funny.Wait, it took him 12 years to realize that his therapist does not speak English? How is that even possible. D:

Thanks for the compliment, and the notification. Unfortunately, i have to sometimes delete some of the images from my computer in order to clear up space/etc, so i'm not sure if i still have them. Given how busy i am lately, i doubt i'd be able to remake them if i don't. Plus... those images are more Joe being silly with a Bohrok head.Wow this series is completely amazing.btw thought I'd mention that some of the older pics are not showing from iaza.com

As said before via PM, a Faxon would be appreciated. You can probably edit the Huna for a basic shape.
-
Eesh, bummer. I'm sure you can find some footage or something. What?! Oh no! Nobody told me this was happening!
Oh, neat. Too bad i don't know anything about that right now, or, at least i don't remember. I just woke up, after all.I watched a little bit of it online, since it was cloudy out, and I did some "Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls" fanart of it. -le image snip-(To be clear, that's the character Venus going across the sun there.)
-
Yeah, we saw it in a planitarium theater in a museum since it suddenly got cloudy. Was pretty cool nonetheless.
-
So! Today marks the momentus occasion of the main Venus Transit, in which, similar to an eclipse, Venus passes in front of the sun twice due to the earth spinning. It's actually only passing once, but it is twice to our perspective. I went to an event to see, and it was truly amazing. Apparently, the next time it will happen is in 150 years, so, it's literally a once-in-a-lifetime opprotunity. To celebrate? Turned in 2,100 game coins in Pokemon HeartGold for a Dratini, named it Venus....Yesssssssssssssss.So, what are your thoughts and/or experiences of this incredible event?
-
Hahaha, that reminds me of some of my friends. Nice job as usual.

Pretty much - Leraku, using Psionics, has a lot of mental capabilities. Thus, he repelled Soran's power by a raw outburst of mental and psionic energy. However, the attack in the third panel actually did happen in the past, Leraku just decided to focus his attack at the same moment he was forced to remember a similar attack in power. Soran, being the catalyst for these memories, would have experienced mild discomfort as his concentration would have to be tense at that point due to his experience in the past as well. He was not expecting to be dually parried, and was knocked out of his attempt. It also looks like Leraku basically repelled Soran's mental attacks either by his own mental attacks or by force.
-
And as forced visions of the past go on...EX: Pfft... that was it? Hardly even a challenge. What kind of 'first warrior' are you?EX: Wait... where did you go..?And as the powerful impact sent shockwaves through the fabric of memories themselves...LER: ...Rrragh!SOR: Aaagh!A tormented hero breaks free of his influence.
-
Ah, i can see the difference in backgrounds now. The original comic posts were either far apart or on seperate pages, so i wasn't able to compare.
-
EDIT: Works fine now, nevermind.
-
Yes, the body was originally a bit thicker, but due to how unfortunately round it was shaped, i had to cut it out. I think this fits better though - Leraku is strong but slender.Wow the drawing looks impressive, nice job. It has that animated Cartoonish look to it, and it works really well. Shading and everything looks good. Only thing that looks a little odd is how small the torso is. Other then that it looks really good.~Soran

I said 3rd panel, not 2nd. It's like he suddenly teleported.
He's there, he is just covered by the tree partially.Wait a minute. Where did Oneker come from?He wasn't there in the 3rd panel, and suddenly he is in the 6th.
