It should just be a normal comic, take mine for example, I do funny stuff, and then serious stuff, funny stuff, serious stuff, ect. it would not be as stressful to you, or as flippin hard to read as this. drag'n'drop. bam, comic.
yea, use any of the folowing: chimoru R, chimoru Kal, or chimoru omega. oh, or razor.
happy comic making.
While this is decent comic advice on it's own... I will not be accepting it. Sorry.
See, D3 is meant to be for the most part serious, and a most certainly not normal/ordinary comic. Community input, twists, all sorts of things - It's not even that stressful, per se. And I will agree that before it was somewhat hard to read - But, D3:R will be more thought out, now that I've figured out what it will be. Before, it was much more confusing since I was trying to decide what kind of comic it would be. This voting has helped with that process. I'm going to be using Xanis, in fact I already have the first two panels of the prologue comic completed. There will be 1-2 more panels, and they will take the same style as previous comics in D3.
I appreciate your suggestions, but I have already begun work and unfortunately your advice doesn't exactly apply. But thank you, nonetheless.

Okay, just got off of the whole 'birthday' business, so I should be able to resume work on some of the sheets for D3 Rebirth soon.

Corruption
in Comics
I like games.Maybe so, but the game itself is in question.
Are you the one playing the game, or are you the game being played, as the game plays you?
Even that game of your mind is relative to how you think about it.
This is what comics can be good at implicating - if done well, they make you think. And you get more immersed into comics that make you think deeply.

Corruption
in Comics
Looking good! Speaking of looking, I'm looking forward to seeing how this comic progresses. It should be very interesting.
-
I rarely every use them - and when I do, they're gratituously undersized to make them look less... comical. More to look like the characters are actually opening their mouths, in which case I can perhaps do a couple of test comics to see what it looks like with/without mouths. Okay, more development and whatnot. I'm continuing to think over it, and at this point, I may use Chimoru for ordinary comics, and Xanis for animations. It's all dependent on this next point: Otherwise, my main problem that's halting progress is my lack of correct mask for this new Leraku. Specifically, the Volitak(Nuparu Mahri). It's going to either take a good amount of work to make a decent-looking Xanis one, or someone ends up making me one (which I would appreciate). So either way, this entire thing is going to take some time. Also, I might need help with backgrounds in the future, as the ones that I currently have been making for D3 are... incredibly mediocre.Xanis would really be a turn off for me. If you have to go with Xanis, at least don't use those stupid mouth expressions. -
Xanis or Chimoru:
I'm not a Chimoru fanboy and it's not that I can't respect kits other than Chimoru, but I would rather see your series continue to use chimoru r. The shading and masks are far better than Xanis. I think Xanis poses are nice and all, but the faces and eyes aren't suitable for this series, in my opinion. I have to say, I would much rather you use Xanis over my most hated kit,RZMIK, but I think Chimoru is the way to go. Plus, if you wan't to pose Chimoru R< just use the separated joints and put them together at angles you want in GIMP or Photoshop like Gavla does. I think it works nicely for him.
Personally, I prefer Xanis due to the fact that it is much more customizable - yes, you can do the same with Chimoru, but it can be a bit confusing with some of the choices being a tad strange. Yes, Xanis is only 4-shade, but I prefer the flexibility I can use with it over Chimoru, whose smaller size can make things look unfortunately... clunky. And I might be animating some panels, and I will have a lot more choices and fluidity with Xanis. I'm likely going to use Xanis, but any further votes from anyone else would be appreciated. Voting will be wrapped up soon.

Important Information Post:
D3 is going to be rebooted, now that things have been figured out.
Characters/LCs/SCs will be discussed later.
At this point, some specific voting is required.
Here are the subjects that I need voting on.
Gaming Abstractions:
Levels, inventory system, 'EXP', things like that
Xanis or Chimoru:
Xanis has the much more preferable option of poseability, making action scenes much more interesting and diverse.
Chimoru has mostly custom-built poses, and is a little more difficult to make custom built poses, but also is six-shade.
Just because I've already made Chimoru R sheets doesn't mean that's a reason to keep using it, I can always just quickly make some Xanis sheets. I'm mostly neutral on the kit decision, but I'm leaning towards Xanis because, although I like Chimoru, I will admit it's used quite a lot and it might be interesting to have a Xanis comic, seeing how they're not nearly as common.
Names
I've got a few already:
Disasters Rebirth
Dents, Dings and Disasters v2 (D3v2?)
Dents, Dings and Disasters Rebirth?
Disastrous Chaos
Disastrous Rebirth?
Disasters Reborn?
OTHER: Vote and send in your own suggestion, but make sure you also include one of the above.
...Or, we could just still stick with Dents, Dings and Disasters...
Please vote on these subjects, in order to give me feedback on how the development of the comic should go. The comic is based on community feedback, and it's not changing now.

=====UNIVERSE DESTROYED=====

Oh darn, I missed where you had the observers talking. I thought I was going to be all original LOL.
Nope! I had been doing this for awhile, actually. Don't forget that I came up with the idea for Observers in the first place, so I had planned this out pretty far ahead.
-
VEE: ...
VEE: I don't understand...
VEE: Why is this happening to us?
VEE: It makes no sense... Nothing has caused this before.
VEE: What kind of interference-
VEE: ...Oh no.
VEE: My universe!
VEE: What's happening?!
VEE: ...
VEE: I don't like having to do this...

A mercy killing.
Saddening, yet necessary.
Well written as usual, Gavla.
-
Okay, sorry for not appearing much lately. Family ambushes and holidays.
...Family ambushes?
Fambushes. Sure.
Anyways, I'll see what I can do to get back up to date on this.
@Terren: Your observer is already set to Terren. Unless you are reffering to the [Terren/Terra Nuva] thing, which is put there in case outsiders get confused. Don't worry about it.
-
You have sufficient info for my dimension Ler, yes?
Yeah, I've got enough info for yours.
-
The blue one works very well, nice job. I think that's the one we should use. Also: Each observer has their own personal dimension they usually stay in when watching over their timelines. Describe Previncus' dimension please, as well as his personality / his attuned powers.
For instance, Vee's dimension can be seen in my avatar/sig/etc, and his power affinities are Time and Light.
-
Blue, gray and yellow seems like it might be interesting. Give it a go.

Your jetpack launches early and flies off into space, never to be seen again.
I wish for a tree.

Sock puppet.

Your wish is granted, but now you find pie to be completely inedible.
I wish that I had a dollar.
-
I said the colors were fine, but not the usual Optimus Prime way of using them. Mix it up a bit, make it look more unique than looking exactly like him but smaller.
-
Well, his personality wasn't going to be based on that sci-fi protagonist. But I share Soran's ineptitude at color schemes, so I toss in things I think look cool.
If you really need me to, I'll change it, but I'd rather keep it, if you'll have it.
Well, you can stick with your R/W/B color scheme, but having a head that looks like that coupled with the fact that he is completely green like that isn't going to pass for aforediscussed reasons. You can keep the helmet, but I'd like to request that you at the very least change the color scheme.
-
Yeah... I'm not the best at color schemes... I'll be honest that I didn't even notice that Previncus looked like that certain character. I guess I'm slow when it comes to those fancy video game nintendo 64's machines. It looks like I'm not as hip as I thought I was...
Oh right, also heres my Observer's sprite sheet for others.

You can remove that link if you'd like. I'll be uploading our sheets to the official Majhost/brickshelf once I have them.

GEO: That was a decision on my part.
GEO: I decided to pick somewhere simple this time, as there is something... serious that has come to my attention.
???: Yes. Now that we are all here, please explain.
VEE: So you've got something, too... I wondered why everyone was here first.
GEO: Right... well, here's the problem. I'm having issues tracking my timeline...
VEE: What?
VEE: Geo, is what you say true?
GEO: My friend, I am not one to concern others with falsehoods. With all due respect, Vee, I would think you of all of us would know me better than that.
VEE: Yes.. apologies.
VEE: Excuse my reaction, for what you had said... It's what I was going to say. It's troubling... and yet doubly so now that apparently I'm not the only one with such problems.
Z??: Comrades, I must admit that I find this is especially odd.
ZYG: I am wondering...
ZYG: Is there a reason we are all having these issues?
ZYG: Or is it just happenstance?
GEO: A simple coincidence of the wind, you might say?
ZYG: Yes. But it does seem a bit... improbable.
VEE: Agreed. How could this be a coincidence? There might be something going on.
???: Regardless, gentlemen. We do not know whether or not this is simply interference as we pass through the void.
???: As it stands now, we must wait, and not get involved until we are absolutely sure that we must intervene with our timelines.
VEE: ...I suppose we have no choice.
GEO: I will concede to your advice.
ZYG: I second that statement.
???: Good. Anyone else among us who has these problems, or are finding that you are also getting these problems, despite the fact that none of us are truly 'leaders', I would hope that you will also accept this.
???: ...Allright.
???: Fine.
???: Understood.
???: It shouldn't be a problem, should it?
???: Hopefully not.

...He looks startlingly like a certain protagonist of a certain immensely popular sci-fi game series.
I'd like to ask that you try again, and keep it from being quite so completely based on things like that. At least some more variety in his colors.
For instance, Soran's observer has an extremely similar color scheme to Soran, but he looks different enough so it passes.
Also, out of curiosity, I'd like to ask why it seems like your characters are often heavily based off of popular movie/game characters?
-
I'd like to make a recommendation.
When making the Observer, at least make it in Chimoru R. I recommend making it in other kits for other series that might use other kits (such as rzmik, razor, rayg, etc).
Also I'm creating mine at the moment.
~Soran
-----
Agreed.
Perhaps that everyone at least makes a Chimoru R one, and if they don't feel like making the other kits right away, make them if you are requested to do so.
