  1. WELL HELLO THERE ACTUALLY SANTA. NICE OF YOU TO COME BY. I HAVE PROBABLY NEVER RUN INTO YOU BEFORE EITHER BUT YOU SEEM LIKE A PRETTY COOL PERSON. I HAVE CERTAINLY ENJOYED MANY GOOD TIMES ON BZPOWER AND I CERTAINLY HOPE TO IN FUTURE. YOU ARE WELCOME TO CHAT ME UP ANYTIME. I DONT BITE, BUT I DO CHEW THOROUGHLY.

  2. Aw, you guys are cute. Clearly, the stylistic formatting was a deliberate and conscious choice for the optimization of the marriage of form and content in order to elicit maximum resonance, flow, and lolzorz. You know me, I do nothing by accident. 'Cept when I do, of course. ;) Just keepin' it weird.

I do pen and paper, but only on rare occasions by necessity or momentary preference. PAY ME AND I'LL DO IT WITH CURLICUES AND A CHERRY ON TOP, JUST FOR YOU TAKUMA, WHADDYA SAY HUH

Oh, you never know who's going to pop up out of the woodwork. These days, anything can happen. But yeah, that mental and emotional straitjacket was chafing me for quite a while before someone on the invisible end was kind enough to undo it. All those years of self-flagellating penance turned out to be for nothing. In the end, I just had to let go of self-judgment. Who knows, we could be seeing a mass prison break in this joint within not too long a time, if not going by signs and portents then by simple trend extrapolation and logic. The worst of the inmates have been running this open-air asylum for quite long enough, if you ask anyone who knows the score intimately enough.

    Ta!

meaning, of course, the gen. pop. of planet Terra, not this locale in particular

edit: and before anyone asks: yes, I have finally gone off the deep end. I'm much happier for it, thanks. Keepin it from here on out. :)

  3. Durr whoa, first time signing into BZPower since the forums came back. Hello, Deevie! Gosh, the blogs are so different now. (But loads better than before, I'm sure. It'll just take a little getting used to.)

I'm so glad to see you're still building, still pushing the boundaries of what Lego bits can become in the hands of the artist. This is an exceedingly cool Catwoman, with "DV" written all over it. Props for the build, my friend! :)

  4. Wow... that is sublime.

A moment of peace and exhilaration so profound, even the elements graced it with stillness and purity. All the more awe- and gratitude-inspiring when one considers the contaminated condition of the upper atmosphere in the wake of Fukushima.

Thanks for sharing this, Breann. Be well.

  5. That looks quite awesome. I like the use of HF parts; that adds some flavour to the design.

Does it have all the details of a real sub? I'm hoping it will have all the realistically placed propellers for maneuvering. Also an air lock. (Or is that a pressure lock?)

  6. Yup, that is one screaming-hot car. But I dunno, I'd just as soon not own one, even if I were ridiculously rich. Possessions generally don't bring happiness or meaning to life, they just tie you down. Unless you actually, like, fall in love with your car and end up having, like, a relationship with it. A $180,000 car will get you from point A to point B no better or worse than an $18,000 car. The only difference is style - a matter of appearances only. Ah, the seduction of material things...

  7. Doesn't matter how many ways you say it, it'll still be as true and go out to as deaf a crowd. x)

Your post did get me to take a look at my long-neglected Gali Titan WIP... The chest thing isn't so bad, but there are some serious proportion problems otherwise. Guh. Lower legs particularly, those'll have to be reworked from the ground up. Again. But hey, thanks for the impetus for progress! :)

  8. As a stand-alone product range, the new HF would make for stultifyingly dull MOCing. But in seamless concert with past incarnations and the more traditional brick? Mmmmmm... I like what I see in the eye of my mind. I like it, I like it a lot.

  9. I AM A MAN. I SPEAK FOR ALL MEN EVERYWHERE. MEN'S RIGHTS UNFAIR MEDIA PORTRAYAL OF MEN FEMINIZATION OF BOYS RADICAL FEMINIST AGENDA BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Yeeeeaaaah. No. Translation: I refuse to face my own psychological issues directly. I prefer to project them onto other people to avoid the objective truth of things as they are because that would threaten the beliefs and values in which I have invested my entire sense of identity. Therefore I am compelled to keep up a stream of convoluted thought patterns and seek out like minds and opponents to feed my adversarial worldview and my perpetual need to define myself as the noble crusader when the fact of the matter is we are all just flawed human beings in a challenging world doing the best we know how.

    :)

EDIT: Holy carp. I think I described myself right there and proved my own point by example in the process. :P
